They told me that if I arrived before closing, they would help me. I immediately took an Uber and arrived before the posted closing time (5pm) only to find the doors already locked. One of the rudest employees I've ever met stood behind the glass and repeatedly said, "We're closed. We're closed. We're closed," with a snarky attitude and look on her face. I explained that I had just spoken to someone on the phone who told me to come, but she ignored me, repeated "we're closed" again, and walked away. She could clearly hear me and did not address my issue or concern at all. When other employees came out, one admitted he was standing next to the person who had taken my call. I asked why they would tell me to come if they weren't going to help. Instead of answering, he rudely repeated, "We closed at five." I pointed out that this made no sense, since they told me on the phone to come in. His response was to take an aggressive stance and say I was not allowed in the store anymore and would be refused service if I returned on Monday. I have no idea if he has that authority or not but will be following up to find out. This was an extreme overreaction. My frustration was reasonableand the whole situation could have been avoided by simply telling me to come back tomorrow or by handling the situation with basic professionalism and empathy. I will be speaking to a store manager because this was beyond unprofessional and outright rude. The manager should know how the employees treat customers. I'm a business owner and I would never tolerate this if I found out. How you treat customers matters as much as what you can do for them. I had planned to purchase high-level business internet and eventually upgrade to fiber, but now I'll not only be moving my business services to Verizon, I'll also be canceling my personal AT&T service at my apartment. This keeps all your points but trims repetition, strengthens flow, and emphasizes the contrast between your reasonable expectations and their unprofessional behavior.

I brought my iPhone 12 Pro in to have the back glass replaced (badly cracked each time, yeah I suck) and to have a new battery installed. Every single guy I've interacted with has been awesome. They are very friendly, work quickly, care about the customers and are VERY accommodating. HOW accommodating you might ask? Well I brought my phone in yesterday to have the back glass and battery replaced. They were able to fix the back glass no problem but did not have the battery at the north park location so they asked to come in tomorrow. I mentioned that I wouldn't make it by closing because of my work commute. Well that didn't deter them from being awesome at all. Not only did Miguel, from the downtown shop, bring the battery up from his store, but he showed up at the north park location 30 minutes after closing AND replaced the battery for me. I choose to support local businesses and I am MORE than happy to spend some time writing up a review (here and on google) for great people behind a great local small business. I hope this review is helpful (it really is) and hope you give them your business (cmonnn). Thank you guys for giving a s**t about your customers!

They make sure you pay for the service first then they attempt to fix your phone screen and after a few days almost 2 weeks later hey say it's unfixable and won't refund your money!! watch out for these SCAMMERS!! DO NOT bring ANYTHING here!

It's the staff that make the vibe here FUN! They work ridiculously to get you the best deal researching everything before proceeding with you and mind. They are just the right amount of personable, sharing riveting stories while you wait--which is way faster than the other stores. They make you feel like you have a family member who works for Metro: giving you the best deal! THEY CARE & IT SHOWS!! Christian was so patient when my phone went black screen and had to deal with my children getting sick before coming in and buying a new phone having given me all the research and spending a lot of time with me before I made my purchase a different day. Even came back in for me, after clocking out! Gabriel, the manager, was so professional, educated, and empathetic to my particular situation. He even informed me that my phone that blacked out is under warranty and would only cost $25. He absolutely did not have to do that, saving $$money!Christian & Gabriel worked like customer service agents back in the '90s, when customer service was awesome! They really did not have to care so much about me and my kids but they took such time out of their own schedules even past closing to get everything right with my account adding a third line and getting me the best deal with the additional phone. They worked within my minimal budget and sick kids in attendance to get it done! I watched as Gabriel educated a foreigner as to the best way to save money not trying to push a sale when most would have. I cannot rave enough about all the staff here and their care for customers, truly caring about customers and their unique human conditions!! They even treat the indigent population that surrounds their store with respect & empathy. Heck I'm ready to vote for the 2 for Pres & VP in 2024... YOU WILL LOVE THIS STORE. Go!

I went to their "office" and it was disappointment from start to finish. I walked into a room with 2 guys, a desk, and pure awkwardness. I told him that I was the one who inquired about the new iPhone camera on yelp. He looked through his messy desk and determined he couldn't find my part and I would have to wait til Monday. So I left. Just downstairs in the same building, was San Diego Jailbreak. I went into a nicer "office" where the owner, Jeff, was very polite and helpful. He quoted me the same price as his competitor, but he actually had the iPhone part I needed. What's cool about Jeff's business is that he has a waiting room, so you don't have to deal with the awkwardness of watching someone fix your phone. Part of the time I was waiting, I sat near his desk to watch some college football on TV and he was even social enough to have some good conversation while he worked. He was able to replace my iPhone camera within 15 minutes and it was as painless as it could possibly be. He did it quick at a fair price of $50. I guess the only thing the other guys had a leg up on, was that they offered me a 6 month warranty on the new camera and San Diego Jailbreak only offered 60 days. So, my piece of mind is a little questionable. Despite that, Jeff seems like the type of guy who would take care of his customers. Also, he's a self proclaimed perfectionist and I can totally see that watching him work. I'll be back here for any phone repairs in the future! 5 stars!

I went to get my Iphone…read moreunlocked and I ended up buying a iphone that was already unlocked for CHEAP, IMPECCABLE condition the iPhone is pretty much brand new not 1 scratch & the battery is 97% omg I am so in love thaaaan I went to him 2 weeks later to buy my husband a iphone as well & I have to say I am more than happy! My parents will be buying iPhones from him in a couple days this guy KNOWS what he is doing and he is very reasonable on price! I recommend him 1,000%
