What a perfect name lol! This was a huge cannabis store, with a very spacious layout. Also, there were plenty of friendly staff members ready to answer questions. Thanks to plenty of space, they displayed a vast selection of cannabis items, with some of my fave brands. Plus, they offered unbeatable discounts (half off+!). Think this was the best cannabis store I've seen to date? If only we had one of these stores in NC (and is legal as well!). We would have loved to purchase more of their items (many half priced!), but since we were flying back to a state that prohibits THC, we had to limit our choices. Hope to revisit on my next trip to San Diego! read more

HORRIBLE. Lady tells me there's a flash sale cap of 2 units @ 50% off. I then tell her ok, BUT I am a FTP and could use 50% across the store. She says YES but you can only get 2 of the carts when state limit is 8. FYI I have been to other locations that DID honor the 8 units @ 50%. Like I said this place is TRASH and GREEDY. read more

Hannah was absolutely incredible. Her depth of knowledge is extraordinary and she went out of her way to help me find exactly what I needed today. I've never had such amazing assistance and will definitely be back soon. Great quality products and no wait. read more

This is the second dispensary I've been to in San Diego. My friend is visiting from Miami and needed to grab some goodies. I was extremely impressed with the design, layout and self-driven experience. Bella was super duper friendly and helpful. She checked in with both my friend and I at different intervals of our visit. I was honestly a little overwhelmed by the vast selection. I feel like there is an option for absolutely every needed. I stocked up on edibles and grabbed some gifts. Appreciated that everything is clearly labeled, pricing was competitive and it was just the right about of variety per product. Jonathan checked us out. He was very professional and kind. This shop is not too far from me so we will definitely be back. read more

If you want security over your shoulders and asking to check your pockets after your purchase because they don't know the difference between car keys and regular product, then this is the right place to visit. They did search me but found NOTHING in my pockets but car keys, cellphone, wallet and a napkin. I felt extremely uncomfortable and humiliated just over an accusation by security especially being a person of color. As a loyal customer of several years, five years plus by the way, who's always friendly to the staff and drop at least $500 a week at the store, I will NOT be returning to this store again. Word of mouth is always quicker than this post, by the way. read more

Very attentive and helpful! They even shop for this older fellow with directions who can't stand up for long. Also they're quite friendly!Amazing selection and low prices compared to other places.I used to shop around, but now I only go to Buzz! read more

Just got accused of stealing from the security guard with face tattoos at around 9 pm. I normally love Buzz and I think it has the best cannabis prices in the city, going there is usually the highlight of my day. I nearly spend over $200 there weekly , only to be profiled and accused of something that's out of my character I know some people are just trying to do their job, but I'm tired a poor service. I'm tired of being judged and I'm not going to accept the projection of others biases. At least I didn't cause a scene, but I didn't even get an apology. I don't care anymore but my frustration will be voiced. The staff and security at the national city location as always showed me respect on the other hand. read more

My favorite dispensary hand down! Each and every morning I wake up with a joint, so on a weekly basis I diligently shop all the weed spots around town looking for various sales and discounts, well actually I used to, that is, until I happily discovered this place. With Excellent parking being the least of it. Regularly they reduce the amount owed. $50 off is not unusual. See Photos. Wide variety of products ranging from the obscure to the commonly known. If it's part of the cannabis world then it is here and most Generous to UR Wallet! I can not emphasize this enough folks, the prices here are Significantly Less than anywhere else in San Diego County, perhaps all of Cali; I shit you not Mellow Yelper. This place is off the hook, with an extremely friendly staff, and over-the-top courteousy. They treat you like it's your birthday. I only shop here now you should too trust me, my friend. read more

Okay selection sometimes, but their marketing is infuriating. They claim all these special deals, 50% off etc plus, but when you see their original markups are like twice what every other dispensary is charging, their "deals" only bring the price down to at or just above other dispensary prices. So if you find another dispensary with an actual deal, you'll be paying less than these guys and their ridiculous "sales." Customer service is meh here as well. I prefer March and ash down the road, better customer service read more

I've been to this dispensary multiple times, and each visit feels more uncomfortable than the last. From the moment you arrive, you're treated more like a potential problem than a paying customer. Security is overly present, and staff constantly come up to you under the guise of being helpful, but it feels more like you're being watched than assisted. The bag policy is inconsistent and over the top. One time, I was told I couldn't bring in my large purse. Another time, after checking in with a smaller bag, I was told I needed to keep it zipped while browsing. It feels excessive and unwelcoming. I go to dispensaries to feel relaxed and respected -- this place does the opposite. I won't be coming back, and I'd recommend looking elsewhere for a more comfortable and professional experience. read more

Deshaun was amazing! Love all the quantity!!! I really recommend coming here they are so helpful

First time, and loved the experience and bud tender was very helpful and knowledgeable

I've been a loyal customer at Buzz Cannabis since it opened, visiting at least twice a week. Unfortunately, I can no longer ignore the consistent disregard this business shows for disabled people -- particularly how they handle handicap parking violations. Every single time I visit, without fail, there are able-bodied customers illegally parked in handicap spots. What's worse is that the security staff -- whose job should include maintaining a safe and lawful environment -- does absolutely nothing about it. I have approached the staff directly to voice this concern, and I've been met with discomfort, avoidance, and outright dismissal. The message is loud and clear: my presence and my disability are an inconvenience to their operation. Let me be absolutely clear -- the security here are more concerned with protecting merchandise than protecting the dignity and legal rights of the very people who keep their business running. Watching grown men in security uniforms pretend they have authority, yet refuse to confront customers breaking the law, is both pathetic and infuriating. I've even been told by offenders that they're "just texting" as if that somehow entitles them to a space legally reserved for those who actually need it. This isn't just about parking. It's about the company's values -- or lack thereof. Buzz Cannabis has fully commodified the marijuana industry, prioritizing profit over people. They've created a culture where entitled behavior goes unchecked, and disabled patrons are made to feel invisible or worse, like the problem. If this business can't even manage something as basic as enforcing legal parking standards, it raises serious concerns about what other rules they're willing to bend -- or break -- when it serves their bottom line. Buzz Cannabis, do better. I hope this can be dealt with swiftly and have you security trained on how to have a backbone with entitle customers in accordance with the law. read more

There are plenty of people on the floor to answer questions and checkout is always fast.

I have shopped at several dispensaries but when Buzz opened up I went in and have been an exclusive buzz customer. 2 weeks ago I bought a cartridge that I thought came with a battery, sadly it did not. I went in to pick one up and was surprised that they were 30$, oh well my fault for not reading the box. When I got to the register to pay the employee said, here we got you and the cost was 0$. Great customer service and that is why I will always come back. Oh and the rewards are great too. Thank you buzz! read more

I'm a regular at this store and usually love their service. Today I went to switch out what I believed to be a defective cart, but it was working on their battery, just not mine. The manager, Mike, was so nice that they just gave me a pen that could actually hit the cart! No other dispensary has the prices or goes out of their way for their customers the way these people at this location do. read more

1 star They supposedly offer points for discounts, but they gave an endless litany of excuses for why they didn't feel like honoring their commitments. amazing deals honestly cannot beat the prices ! Everyone super friendly !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I genuinely wanted to give this place 4 stars or more. The staff is friendly, and they have a great selection. But I recently noticed something that really needs to be addressed. After reviewing my debit card statements, I realized that at least five times, a $4 cash back was added to my purchases without my knowledge or approval, on top of the $3.75 transaction fee. To be clear, I have no issue paying a $3.75 fee when I knowingly authorize it -- that's totally reasonable. But what's not okay is adding $4 cash back to the transaction without asking, then handing it to me with a line like, "And four dollars back to you." I originally assumed it was a partial refund of the fee, but it turns out it was extra money added to my bill -- with the clear expectation that I'd tip it back. If I want to tip, I should be given the option to do so during the transaction, just like at other businesses. Adding unauthorized cash back and pressuring customers this way is misleading and needs to be addressed. I'm sharing this in the hope that management takes it seriously and improves the transparency at checkout. I like the place -- I just want to see them do better. read more

Came here for the first time patient special. There were a ton of employees and I had great service. I used the 50% off deal and was happy. Second time I came in and it smelled like perfume right when I walked in, the music was extremely loud and it was extremely bright. All my senses were overstimulated. I couldn't enjoy looking and browsing at anything because of the loud music. Wasn't conducive to my shopping experience so I just left. I actually have not been to this shop, but would recommend based on two employees! This morning I was in a car accident and Joey and Miranda saw it happened; and pulled over to help me, and sent me footage they captured. When they pulled over to help me, I saw their work badges and shirts on, and made a note , so I could leave a review. Such sweet people! Clearly, this business hires amazing employees!! I love a new dispensary and lucky for me, this one is right down the street from my house. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I can be a bit of a stoner sometimes. I mean, do have a better way to zone out when watching Ancient Aliens? No, no you don't and that's while I'll call you a nerdy-ass-square. Just kidding, the green ain't for everyone, but it sure is for me. I use it to go to sleep, almost exclusively and I always try to mix up my products to not get my mashed potato brain, my poorly maintained body, and indulgent soul confused and still affected. Buzz has a few products that I've been through already and their second suggestion is showing up as a big winner for me at this point. I stop at edibles so that's what I purchase and sample each time. Buzz has tons and the shop is big. You're free to roam and shop how you like all before checking out as you would anywhere else that selling you the feel good. What I really love, you don't feel rushed. Other spots where you can't be a free range chicken you're corralled into small confines, there are lines, your have to wait for a budtender, and they're lackluster experiences. Buzz on the other hand, an out of this world way to spend your green on more green. Oh, and Hailey is incredible. Seriously, she checked me in, walked me around after I asked her to help. If she's there, have her show you around. read more
