Calling and checking on prices, The Getaway was the first that appeared to be interested in working with me and patiently explained they didn't do little (we were a party of five) fishing boats anymore. We ended up getting a new Tritoon that could probably hold a dozen persons, no problem. Secured our fishing licenses and found the rental location where a young man was waiting with a side-by-side, willing to haul our gear down to the dock. Checking in was smooth and easy, instructions were given, and directions and ideas shared on the best areas to fish. Well, the fishing wasn't great, although we changed location a few times, and we hoped to stop at a dockside restaurant, so returned the boat a bit early so we wouldn't go over our allotted time. The Tritoon performed beautifully (hair trigger on the throttle), powerful motors, shade, pockets for storage. They were right--the Triton was very stable, waves no problem. Expected to pay for gas in addition to quoted price but apparently overlooked or forgot about the cleaning fee. The young man hauled our gear back up the hill. Would love to return with a larger party and really have some fun.

I paid the 50% deposit and balance was due once we received boats. The boats were good other than one didn't have a working radio and they gave us a small wireless radio that couldn't even be heard, gauges on one boat didn't work. We returned boats with the more fuel they were brought to us with (less than 1/2 tank). Then I get a $500 larger charge on balance. I reached out to them and they told me that it was a delivery charge because our location was farther than they expected. My delivery location was on the original contract so they know exactly where I was. Now I just get an additional charge for $250 supposedly for fuel. We left the boats with more fuel than they gave them to us with. I have disputed the charges with my American Express card and I'm waiting on answers. Be aware of this company and the sneak attack of them, charging you extra and not honoring the original contract that was agreed to.

The people that worked here were super reasonable laid back people and they allowed us to only rent them for two hours and give the office a call if we wanted to rent them for longer. We ended up doing 2 hours then called back for 2 more and one more time for one more hour lol. They were not very strict and they didn't care about how long we had them out.. They gave us a map of where we were allowed to go, they fitted us for life vests and quickly showed us how to do what we're supposed to do on the jetskis and sent us on our way. These JetSki's were in great shape and super fast (turbo-d ones) and super responsive! Almost impossible to flip. This was honestly the time of my life out on the water we got to stop at restaurants with docks on them and we went swimming and just speeding around having so much fun!!! A wonderful experience thanks to WFO watercraft rentals!!! If I ever came back to the Ozarks this is where I would get a boat rental or JetSki next time!!

We also took a pull behind water tube for the kids. The staff was kind, friendly and very knowledgeable. When we returned the boat it was very easy.

There are rivets on the bottom of the boat that we stubbed our toes on. Worst of all the drivers SEAT was completely unstable. My husband had to stand most of the time pulling tubes all week, he's 75 and has been boating and skiing all his life. The door that held vests continued to swing open the whole time we were on the water. We finally spent 2 hours going back to Montego Bay Marina. They put a lock on the door so it would not fly open. Supposedly fixed the seat, but they did not. It was set back and you could not sit in it...very wobbly!!! Then on the returned accused my husband of stealing a bumper and was going to charge him. They gave us 3 and they said there were 4. They found the forth bumper in the compartment with all the life vests...said they were sorry!!! It was terrible. Very stressful!!

I used to install Fibersteel boat lifts as well as many other brands, they are as good as any lift…read moreout there, I also owned one for about 10 years, before I sold my boat, all metal out of the water design (very important) heavy duty, and I especially like the square tanks, makes them very sturdy, if I buy another one, it will be a Fibersteel lift. The other lifts all have multiple tanks are pontoons, which means many more air hose connections, which eventfully means leaks that will cause your lift yo leak down overnight, with Fibersteel, just one hose to worry about unless you get a really big lift, that has more than one tank.

The mate, Tim, took so many good photos of myself and my family. He was super friendly and joked around with my family to make sure they were comfortable. The captain had my mother fly twice to make sure our weight was distributed enough to make the ride safe for me and my son, so she was stoked! The boat ride in was super fun too! The captain took us for a special ride back in. 10/10 would recommend !

We enjoyed a swim and a cookout on Friday night there at the resort - spent the next day swimming and fishing and picnicing on the dock before the concert. Our cabin was clean and cool - and had everything we needed for a fun weekend at the Lake. We will be back!
