Unfortunately he didn't have the purse I was looking for at the time, but he did have all sorts of other fun things like 80s purses, holiday decor, fun costume jewelry, etc. I left with a pair of earrings I loved. The vibes are it! I absolutely loved the 80s decor, so much I thought about buying some of the furniture, but it wasn't for sale unfortunately. Founded in the fall of 2009 the Rabbit Hole is located across the street from City Hall. There is plenty of free street parking available. According to the Rabbit Hole they specialize in clothing and accessories from the "50's-80's with some older and newer things sprinkled in". Every vintage piece of clothing is hand picked. They also offer new clothing and jewelry. A small display in the front of the store held china and glass ware. In addition to the small store they also sell online with a selection of new clothes. When I walked into the store my first thought was that I wished this was how my closet looked. Everything was so artfully arranged. The New Times has listed the Rabbit Hole as one of the best vintage stores in Miami. I almost left with a brown leather bag for $100 but I just couldn't justify the expense right now. The shop is divided into different rooms featuring well-selected items, pants, dresses, shirts, décor, and even Christmas ornaments. There's also a men's section with dress shirts and suits, plus a secluded room with designer clothing that's slightly pricier but definitely worth checking out. What impressed me the most was how clean, organized, and welcoming the whole place feels. The staff is wonderful, and I was delighted to learn that it's a nonprofit organization run by formerly incarcerated individuals, helping support their reintegration into society. On top of that, shopping here promotes sustainable clothing demand and supply. I absolutely love this initiative and look forward to continuing to support them.
