Fly Boutique has made a lot of best of vintage stores list. We were in the neighborhood so we decided to stop by and check out the shop. We could only find street parking which you have to pay for. I am still not sure if they have a lot. The shop was on Lincoln Road for 20 years before moving to the MiMo (Miami Modern) district in 2011. Jean Marie and her husband Maximiliano carefully curate their collection. If you want to sell more than 10 items to them you need to make an appointment. Note they are open 11 A.M. to 7 P.M. Sunday through Friday. They are closed on Saturdays. As soon as you walk into the store you are hit with a wave of nostalgia. The first thing I laid eyes on was a living room that looked like the year was 1970. They have lot's of fun items like polaroid cameras, boom boxes, old television sets, and concert T shirts. Browse your way through men's and women's clothes, furniture, art, jewelry, collectibles, accessories, shoes, leather, luggage, and fur coats. Everything is neat and thoughtfully organized. The store is filled with retro finds and designer pieces. Some of the brands I saw were Louis Vuitton and Gucci. I fell in love with the cocktail dresses from the 1950's and a pair of Burberry Boots for $110. An art piece featuring a colorful cat was $1,400. Prices were more expensive than the average thrift store but they are selling quality items. I had fun looking through the store. My friend may even bring some pieces back to sell. read more

This location was opened in 2012. It's a hip, retro, artsy eclectic boutique with vintage and collectible clothing, accessories, jewelry, and even furniture. We lucked out by finding a spot to park (pay by phone) on a side street, but parking is limited. Their summer hours are that they are closed on Saturdays, but open every other day from 12 to 7 pm. It was a fun and nostalgic visit to wander the narrow spaces and see things similar to what my parents and grandparents used to own. And a few things I had myself. The store is jam packed with items and you won't know where to look first. I was fascinated by the jewelry and the purses, but really everything appealed. If you love vintage or are looking for designer duds, come here. But allow yourself time to browse... you will want to explore every nook and cranny. read more

I had the best experience here at Fly Boutique! I was warmly greeted by two lovely young ladies as I entered the shop. I desperately needed help searching for a cocktail dress for an upcoming event and one of the girls jumped into action. She helped me select several dresses to try on and all were lovely. I don't really know my size and she was able to get me things that all fit me- amazing. After finding a couple that were contenders they both were even more helpful recommending a tailor to help with any adjustments I might need with my purchase. I couldn't be happier with the service and selections at Fly. I will definitely be going back soon. They have an excellent collection of items available so you'll probably find something you'll love there. Highly recommend you go visit them for any of your vintage needs. 5+ stars. Incredibly beautiful stuff. Some things are affordable, some things are super expensive, for my budget anyways, but they have designer items so if that's what you're looking for, it's a steal. Buttt.. if you're looking for a little gem that has chill prices, don't go here unless you have money burning a hole in your pocket. This is more for collectors, and I totally wish I had the money to be that, but what would you expect in Miami. You'll barely find a hidden gem in this city that isn't overpriced. Been coming to this hidden gem for years and it's the best place in town for one-of-a-kind additions to your closet. The owner has a real knack for choosing an assortment that ranges from designer to vintage for every occasion. Prices are amazing especially being a consignment store. I prefer shopping here rather than endless hours of thrifting because I always know I'll find options here fast. Vintage pieces are still relevant to current fashion trends and its nice to chat with the warm and friendly staff. Fly Boutique is a cute little store and like all thrift stores, you really never know what treasures you will stumble upon!! And if you are anything like me you would love the hunt for the treasures. I picked up two nice silk scarves the other day, a jacket, and a necklace. One of the scarves was brand new and the other one gently worn, so really your mileage will vary from item to item and day to day. As treasure hunter you just need to remember to be patient!! Prices are very reasonable and the clothes are not all necessarily high end. That said, all the clothes are mostly gently worn and presentable. Which is clearly important. The customer serve is very good, they really try to help you find the items you are hunting for. Which I appreciate. The furniture they have is really unique and hard to find else where. This place is awesome!! I found a vintage Seiko and beautiful Kimono as Christmas gifts. The staff were incredibly helpful and the quality and variety was superb. They have vintage designer furniture, clothing, designer bags and shoes, jewelry, hats, belts, wallets, prints, unique items and all vintage. Love going to the Fly boutique for one of a kind, special pieces. Everything is in great condition being vintage or high end designer. I love looking though the racks to find that something special. Just one of the best vintage shops you can find*. The super-friendly owner is a lifer; committed to finding under-valued thrift treasures and bringing them in. I don't think she makes as much of a profit as she could, because the pricing is very fair. She could do better on ebay, and I think she knows it. See details at end of review The store (once in South Beach) is now a hike from south beach, but so are the other quality vintage shops...all in the same area of north Miami. *To clarify my meaning when I say "one of the best vintage shops you can find" because everyone's idea of paradise is different: 1) this is "curated" stock/stylist approved. When I visited there was a costume designer scouting for TV show wardrobe. 2) There's nothing (I saw) for $2, but there is also nothing (I saw) with rips and stains and wrinkles. 3) the store is large, but with the above-said conditions, you can whip through stock if you know your own taste and sizing. I had an hour in the store and quickly selected 10 things to try on. Only the four that didn't fit went back to the rack. I purchased vintage 80's or earlier Missoni shorts, vintage mid 60's (I think) Hong Kong couture, vintage 80's Issey Miyake, mid-90's Tom Ford for Gucci and contemporary Ungaro pink label. Spent $450. With tax. Not one piece over $100. Not everything in the store is designer label, but I sourced from them because it is easier to read the cuts and sizing than the one-off creations if you arrive an hour before closing. 4) the owner and her assistant were super-busy with buying day when I visited, but both absolutely multi-tasked to help me out and they appeared happy to do so. I have been following Fly since their days on Lincoln Road and then just off Linc. Now they have expanded space so more room for inventory and have added furniture/design pieces. My husband has a collection of shirts from Fly that are so rare and special that wherever he goes people stop and ask.
