I think we got there right as they were opening at 11am as it was empty on a Thursday at lunch, which was nice because it was quiet, and couldn't even hear noise from the kitchen. But maybe they were having a lot of problems that day. First, the salsa con queso was very runny, and had a strange taste. The salsa was also very liquid so maybe it's just badly blended together, but was hoping for something a little more.. The chips were good. They are thin, and they brought plenty of them. Tacos were pretty good, the fish had a unique taste that I couldn't place. Just.. strange in that way that wasn't exactly bad, but I didn't get the best feeling. The Chorizo taco was much better. Unfortunately I was disappointed by how expensive it was for what amounts to Costco ingredients. I lament not paying more attention in high school Spanish because of the three people serving us, only one spoke English, and that made it tough to ask any questions about the food. They give you a receipt with a QR code requiring you to use Toast to pay, which conveniently downloads a temporary app to your phone WITHOUT ASKING. That wasn't cool... Not at all. Overall it .. wasn't great. I LOVE TexMex food but this was mediocre, service mediocre, difficulty being understood and ordering, runny queso, strange fish, and expensive for what I could have gotten at Taco Bell for less. read more

I had a very disappointing experience ordering from them on Grubhub recently. I got beef and chicken quesadillas ($14.99), a side dish of shrimp ($3.99), and some iced tea ($2.99). The iced tea was missing, so I got a refund for that. I don't know if the driver took it, the restaurant forgot it, or if the restaurant didn't include it to make a few more dollars on the order. I have had so many drinks go missing from Grubhub orders it is a joke. Grubhub is a bad habit I need to quit. There was only one shrimp! I paid $3.99 for one shrimp. Are you serious? The quesadillas were way too small. The only good part was the nachos. The sales tax was $2.09, the service fee was $3.30, and the tip for the driver was $5.54. I paid a total of $29.91 for maybe $10.00 worth of food. What a waste of time. read more

My family and I came here for dinner as soon as they got into town to visit for the weekend. This was my second time here and the food and drinks were amazing both times. The service is top notch. You of course have to be careful you don't fill up on chips and salsa before your main dish arrives and you have to immediately ask for a to-go box! Slippery slope as always with those chips! Everyone at the table loved their meal, from quesadillas to fajitas to enchiladas. We had a good sampling of the menu and all of it was great! Enjoyed happy hour, till 7 at the bar and till 6 in the dining room. Staff here is very kind, smiling face, fast and overall attentive. Bar was full, I got to practice my limited Spanish. Spent Taco Tuesday at Los Tios Grill for the first time. I had a very friendly greeting upon arrival and was given seating options. I wasnt very hungry but wanted something to eat as I still had an hour drive back home. The service was amazing. I sat down the waitress brought chips and salsa then a server stopped by and I gave him my drink order. Then I think the manager stopped by and asked I had any questions. This is my family's go-to spot for Mexican food in the area! I dream about the seafood enchiladas here they're THAT good. The sauce is delicious and they have shrimp and scallops inside with rice and beans on the side. I placed my order over the phone for pickup and when I arrived my order was hit and ready. I also decided to try the ice cream sopapillas, it was delicious also but I should have eaten it in the car to get the warmth of the dough with the fried ice cream (yes you read that right lol - I should've eaten it in the car lol). Never heard of this place until my softball teammates suggested it one day after a practice. A plus from the outset was having plenty of space outdoors and room for large groups. They have an extensive food menu here and you would be hard pressed not to find something you would like to try. They also offered a brunch menu on the Saturday we were there that provided additional selections. The service was really good considering how busy it was as well. An area of opportunity was the speed in which it took for our meal to arrive. I suspect it had to do with how busy it was. However, the staff was great about keeping our group at bay with chips & salsa and beverages. The quality of food and friendliness of the staff prevented the longer than average food wait from bringing down the overall rating. My friend raves about this place and is a frequent diner. So, I wasn't surprised when she suggested drinks and dinner here after work one day. She got there before me and chose an outdoor seat. The outdoor seating isn't the best as this restaurant is located in a strip mall off a busy street. We were greeted immediately and ordered margaritas (nothing to rave about). We were brought over chips that could of used a touch more salt, but we sure did eat em' up though! I got chicken tacos. I asked for one soft shell and one hard shell, but I received two soft - no big deal, simple mistake. I ate what they brought me. The tacos come with two tacos, beans and rice (also normal taco must haves like guacamole, sour cream, pico, etc.). Let me tell you the tacos, were...PLAIN, MEH, BORING. The chicken was flavorless and clearly did not have a lot of Mexican seasoning. I did quite enjoy the beans and rice. The meal was certainly edible, but frankly, I can make better tacos myself. My friend got a chicken burrito (with green tomatillo sauce). She was raving and moaning about it throughout dinner. She made me try hers since I was so uninspired by my meal. I came to Los Tios Grill twice with my girlfriend's coworkers at their recommendation. It's always pretty crowded on a weeknight and I think they have some Happy Hour deals or something. I'm not usually a Tex-Mex person, but I have enjoyed Los Tios Grill. It's always a lively place with pretty good food and great portions. Food: Beef Fajitas - I usually order this dish and it's great, no complaints. Sizzling hot beef which is pretty flavorful and served with tortillas, refried beans, mexican rice, salsa, lettuce, guacamole, and sour cream. It's a pretty huge dish and it's been delicious both times I have had it. Seafood Soup - I've tried this and it's a huge bowl of soup with like all the seafood you could ever want. Scallops, shrimp, mussels, and clams! Service: Always great service and very helpful and friendly for my friends who don't understand some parts of the menu. They rushed us out of the restaurant, the wait staff kept coming by and taking plates off the table before we were done eating, had to tell them twice we weren't finished yet. When I complained to the wait staff about being kicked out they said it was because they were busy but they had 4 empty tables at the time. The 2 people that were sitting in the table next to us even commented on how they were rushing us out and they were there before we sat down and stayed after we left.
