This little taco shop is located right next to PRC in Paradise Hills. We were hosting a happy hour at PRC but needed some food. They allow you to bring in outside food so we ordered a bunch of items from here. We got a huge tray of chips and salsa and guacamole along with five quesadilla trays all for under $50. The chips were super fresh and warm. They did not skimp on the salsas and guacs. They were really tasty. I can't wait to come back to try some of their other food. This place sure knows how to make a mean breakfast burrito! The burrito I ordered was not on the menu, but they will make it. It's the ?A la Mexicana" which is basically the tomatoes, onions, and peppers scrambled with eggs and cheese. I wanted a little heat, so I asked them to chop up a Serrano pepper and include in the burrito which they happily did. The burrito came to about $6 with tax. It burrito was very tasty, just because of the ingredients, but also because they seasoned it very well. I love that the burrito arrived piping hot and that the eggs were well scrambled. There Serrano pepper gave the burrito that kick and added flavor I wanted. The flour tortilla was one of those moist buttery ones that kept you wanted to take bite after bite. It was a great burrito and I hope they add it to the menu as a non meat option. Not that I do not eat meat, but sometimes I am good with out it. I tried all three if their salsas and they were all quite good. I was especially fond of the deep red one made from fire roasted red peppers and the green salsa. They both sported great flavor and a good mild to medium heat. The orange one or "habanero" salsa was hot. I usually veer away from overly hot because I do not want it to burden the flavor of the food. It was still a good salsa however. I like this place! Great service and great eats!. read more

We usually order bean & cheese burritos with guacamole, or menudo, or rolled tacos, but this last time we ordered the enchiladas.. & let me just say that they so the bomb! I go to this place because they are local and within walking distance, but sometimes I go to other shops because they have more flavor. Depends how hungry I am. I came here for dinner and it was taco Tuesday so they had a special for three tacos. I got the carne asada tacos. The meat was pretty bland. There was a lot of guacamole and onions on top. I also got to sample the carne asada fries. I didn't care for the cheese whiz that was on top. I would rather have shredded cheddar cheese on it. The guacamole didn't taste fresh. The fries were pretty descent but I have tasted better. Food was just mediocre. I had a Diet Coke to drink. They sell canned drinks. I didn't see a soda fountain. The inside was cute. I liked the tables and they had two sides to the restaurant. Very spacious. Plenty of parking on the side. I just wasn't impressed with the food. I have tasted better elsewhere. No clue to how long this taco shop has been here, it came recommended to me off Yelp one Sunday evening when I was looking for a new Mexican place to try. Pretty much located in the central area of Paradise Hills, it's a quick drive from the 54 freeway going North. When pulling up off Reo Drive, you'll find tons of parking spots off the main road, I didn't see any private lot though. Not much different than most taco shops, this place offers some quick Mexican food at comparable prices. Nothing too unique about their menu than most places, they do however have some custom burritos on their Tapaitos menu, but that's about it. No salsa bar here, all their sauce is kept behind the counter and it seemed like they only had a green or red sauce. Most people, including me, seem to rate these places on their effort making a standard burrito. In my opinion, their size doesn't warrant the hefty near $8 price tag they give them. The carne asada meat they do use here is quite flavorful and fresh tasting. They also give you plenty of it even if the overall size was on the smaller side. I like how they didn't overstuff it with fries and the fries that were there weren't mushy at all. Their tacos seemed to give more of a bang for your buck, they were definitely on the larger side for around $3.25 a pop. The pollo asado was more like diced chicken meat than actual asado, it could have used more seasoning to it. For fish tacos you get a choice between baja style grilled or fried. My battered fish was still very crispy after arriving home and their tartar white sauce was exceptional with the cabbage pieces. Corn tortillas tasted fresh enough, even though they don't make them onsite. The wait here wasn't long as they weren't very busy at the time. The inside of this place is quite big inside for larger parties and they do a great job at keeping the place super clean. Service was decent enough, the cashier didn't seem the happiest to be there but did a good job at getting the orders correctly. They took my credit card no problems, I didn't see any extra fee added onto it, which is always good. Hot sauce? Well, it wasn't really the best in my opinion, too watery and not enough spice. Overall the place isn't too bad, but very out of my way, enough that I wouldn't specifically drive out to give it another shot. read more
