I know. Don't go to Oslo and expect Mexican food to be like home. This food was inedible. I would have taken it back for a refund but I was too upset to even deal with it. My vegan bowl was supposed to come out hot but was served COLD. My friend had to ask for his French fries to be heated. My jalapeño nachos had maybe a tablespoon of cheese and I'm being generous. Quick stop for refreshments after a day of museums. We popped in and ordered Passion Fruit Margaritas and chips with salsa and guacamole. All were great and filled the void between lunch and dinner. We sat outside and enjoyed the weather and view. read more

I had been in Europe for awhile and was desperately craving Taco Bell and this place HIT the spot! It reminded me of Taco Bell in the best way possible. The burrito was so good, lots of flavor. I also appreciated the variety and ability to make your own. I would skip getting the chips & cheese. You order via an iPad and then they serve you at your table. The food came out pretty quickly. I haven't tried Mexican food in Norway in 8 years because I have the worst burrito of my life in this lovely Northern country. However I figured it was time to tempt fate once again with some Norwegian tacos. Service is done via a touch screen kiosk, I ordered three street tacos the chipotle, the norwegian, and the California. The Norwegian fell apart on me because all of them were only wrapped in a single corn tortilla. Tortillas are cheap, and if you're on the street in Mexico you get two of them wrapped around the fixings because of corn tortilla will tear on you. I ordered all three spicy, none of them were spicy and I don't even eat food that's that spicy. Were these the worst tacos of my life? No. They were passable. In a year or two maybe I'll give Mexican food in Norway another try. read more

Location is in the center of downtown so super convenient, and service is hella quick, but the food itself wasn't really all that memorable - except for the fact that my tortillas couldn't hold their contents and completely disintegrated, making my taco meal more of an injera-style disappointment. read more

Let start with the good part. The restaurant is located very centrally, just across Oslo train station. It's a good location for who's coming into the city or is changing commutes and want a quick meal. The restaurant itself has a cute atmosphere inside with nice banquets sitting tables. Their staff is friend and attentive. HOWEVER, the food here is far from authentic and it is flavorless. I had ordered the chicken burrito and it barely had any chicken in it. The rice is made with tomato sauce (awful). Then they put cracked chips inside instead of beans. Some lettuce and salsa which you choose how spice you like, its also added. To finish they squeeze this horrible yellow cheese cream sauce (which is flavorless) ... the burrito is big and full. But it's a bunch of flavorless stuff inside. I also ordered Salsa and chips with added Guacamole. They add so much water in the quacamole that you don't even taste the avocado, literally. The salsa is kept on the hot section of the hot containers, So all the tomatoes get smushed and warm. Once again here, no taste. A cheese sauce also comes with the order, far from a cheese taste. I was much excited about this place but it was a waste of money. Burrito = 120 noks Coke = 40 noks Quacamole = 25 noks Chips and salsa = 45 noks Total. 230 noks I am used to Mexican cuisine and even fast food like Chipotle has a better quality and flavors. I would expect at very least good food to be served since eating out isn't cheap in Norway. No restroom available. read more

It was lacking any reasonable authentic flavor and style. They served salsa hot with nachos but cold cheese. I went back to tell the cashier nachos should have melted cheese. She said ok and gave me more cold cheese. Let's just say they need to give more training before they are serving Mexican food. read more

They were open on New Years Day. The server was fantastic. He warned my girlfriend about how hot the hot sauce was and allowed her to try it before making her decision. He quickly followed with a cup of water once her mouth was on fire. The chicken chipotle bowl and the California burrito are both excellent choices. AWFUL SERVICE! It looked like they ran out of supplies and I barely got any meat in my bowl. After clearly explaining that a tablespoon of meat and some bland veggies with very little to nonexistant flavor is not worth 180 kroners (the server wanted me to pay extra for more meat for which I argumented against) the server put another spoon of meat into the bowl without apologizing and being bitter the whole time. Pretty decent selection, okayish prices (Not cheap), and friendly service. A but weird to charge extra for guac, but they are nice and offer free tap water without asking. I had the chicken tacos and they were decent. Not the original Mexican style soft ones but more texmex. Lots of seating. I really had a great Los Tacos experience! I wasn't really hungry but one thing I love that I don't get enough of living here in Norway is churros and I was hoping they would have them and they did!! Cinnamon covered fried dough I mean how could you say no to that? The churros were really good, and the best part was for 15kr you get two!! Crazy good deal. Do not eat here. This food is made by people who have no idea what a burrito is supposed to be like. They put the cheese next to lettuce and don't understand that there should never be cold ingredients in a burrito and the cheese should ALWAYS be melted. The steak tasted like Santa Maria taco mix flavoring. It was such a gigantic burrito that I spent half the day eating half of it. It makes no sense to charge over 100 kroner for something that is too big to eat. I would rather pay half of that and get something that is not 5 times the size of my stomach. Oh did I mention it also tasted disgusting? These people are just making kebab and calling it a burrito, except that kebab tastes better and I hate kebab. The end. read more

I had a Pulled Porkito at Los Tacos. Good taste, but the burrito was very wet and I ended up not eating the whole burrito because of this.
