It makes me so sad to write this review so negatively! Because it used to be my favorite go to place! I have gotten uncooked fries basically frozen to burnt fries and horrible customer service! But the most recent situation I went through has to be the worst I called in and the lady asked me if I can hold I said yes... She placed me on a 29 minute hold then finally picked up the phone asked me what she could help me with I said if I could place a Phone order she said they were closing in 10 minutes so they couldn't take any orders anymore. When I asked for another to replace the one the lady admitted she made a mistake on, I was still expected to pay for the corrected one. Would give zero stars if possible. Went in tonight to get soup for myself and a burrito for my hubby. Soup never came and the burrito came messed up! When I went to ask the lady we placed our order with why the burrito was not how she just described it to us, she told us they got backed up and the cook was an able to make it the right way. It took so long to get soup. My hubby had already eaten his food. I walked up and asked for a refund and there was NO "IM SO SORRY" She then stood in in front on her phone as we walked out mad. Nice little sit down if you so choose. It was clean and didn't have the usual mexican restaurant smell. (Como que limpio con fabuloso o Algo.) The prices were reasonable. Quick service. As for the food, it was better then I expected. I ordered a breakfast burrito and I was thinking I was going to get the usual hash brown potato or french fries but no, they were actually home cooked skillet type potatoes. The tortillas are great. I ordered a special burrito and when I got home and bit into the burrito I realized it was the complete opposite of what I ordered which is a bit annoying because the cashier spoke clear English so I drive back and the same cashier who rang me up gave me attitude because I said I just wanted a refund and told me new policy doesn't allow refunds which I didn't see posted up anywhere but I just said ok and the cashier then tells me I need to pay more money because the burrito I actually ordered in the first place cost more now I looked a little confused because I always get this burrito so I inform her hey I come here all the time and it's always this set price so she then looks me up and down and says ok fine the order was messed up because of me so I'll just fix it so I agree and I get home and my burrito is extra cold which at this point I didn't even care I just ate it and it was good but DAMN! Did I have horrible stomach pains and horrible diarrhea that I'd never had before in my life. Ordered a burrito for my husband adobado burrito when he picked up the burrito it was cold which was weird he took a bit and all he tasted was tomatoes. So we looked inside and were like where is the meat? The burrito was cold because there was barley any meat and mostly pick de Gallo. The meat wasn't even chicken it was chorizo. Yikes, I remember when I was 21-22 years old and after a long Friday and Saturday night of being out into the wee hours with friends, we'd always consider Alberto's for a burrito or Pizza by the slice we were in the downtown area. When I had the metabolism of a 21 year old one six inch burrito was clearly not enough. I'm older now, but I always thought wouldn't it have been great if there was such a thing as a big, fatty, foot long burrito?! Los Primos, I commend you for introducing the one foot burrito. Good price, it was a little thin on the ends. I think it was really more like a 10 inch burrito. The filling was good, carne asada, mixed in with cheese and salsa. I thought it was pretty good, I wouldn't hesitate to come back and try it again. I can't give them more than a three star rating because it didn't really wow me. Thought a hole in the wall would be a great place for Mexican food. It was the worst Mexican food we have ever had. My eggs were properly cooked but put on top of a cold corn tortilla with refrigerator cold salsa. I asked the waiter about it and he said that's the way we serve it . My husband asked for steak instead of chorizo with his eggs and got neither. The waiter didn't seem to really care. We waited for him to bring back hubby's plate with meat. I am new to the area. I had been looking for a good Mexican restaurant to eat at. I found this place because not only local to me but it had good reviews on Yelp. The food was very fresh and very amazing. I am not one to eat rice however my husband got some and I tried it because it looks so tempting. Wow! It was actually very very good. I came back in for a another try. Again it didn't disappoint. Outstanding food, clean facilities, and outstanding customer service they all were phenomenal. We found a gem with this place. The proportions are massive. The prices were very reasonable. And the food left me wanting for more even though I could not eat it because the proportions were so big. I am disgusted with the incompetence of Los Primos employees. They forgot to put my flour tortillas and they forgot to put my rice and instead gave me double beans??!! Who wants double beans?!!
