I have been here a few times. The foods pretty good and I don't like Mexican food but I can handle this. But the last two times I've been here have been a nightmare. Food is still delicious but last time I asked for easy beans and they put extra which made it taste so gross I just threw it away. This time however was just TERRIBLE! We walked in and no one was ordering but there was 3 people behind the register. We weren't greeted or called up. After about 10 minutes they finally asked a guy standing off to the side a question. When they finished with him it was another 3 minutes before they said "hi can I help you". I had to repeat my order 5 times before they got it and it wasn't even hard! They told me the total and it took her 2 minutes to finally take my money! She was calculating something on a calculator. She took the money and I went to sit down. We ate for a good 30 minutes before food came out. Everyone's but mine. I got the same thing as my son but he got his and I hadn't. I got no beans though so I didn't expect it to take too long. Another 20 minutes later my family is done eating AND I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY FOOD! By now we've been here for an hour and I see others have gotten there food and not me. So I complain. Oh they're cooking more asada. Then suddenly my burrito follows me out. Ok. Take a bite. Tell me why I ordered a chipotle burrito AND THERE IS NO CHIPOTLE IN IT! Ugh. I just threw it out and left. Ordered an adobada burrito and a carnitas burrito. The chef, who I thought was the cleaning service, was busy mopping the kitchen, didn't see the ticket printed in the machine until 10 mins after I ordered, and only saw it because I stood up to see why nothing was happening in the kitchen. The janitor chef is not wearing gloves, no hat or hair net, and does not wash his hands after he handles the mop. Furthermore, he wipes his face of sweat with his hands and an old towel, and then continues to hand make the burritos without washing. It gets better: he goes back to cleaning and cooking, restarting the grisly process. When I think the horror is over, they yell at me across the room asking what I ordered because they lost my order. When the order was ready, it sat on the counter for a few minutes while the waitresses stuffed their faces with food in the back, laughing. This place needs to be shut down, or a health inspector visit. I can't imagine the horrors that lie in secret behind the counter. As a former chef, this is appalling. read more

Got the chimichanga burrito and taquito plate to go when I got home and started munching down wifey could taste the old guac on the food so I dug under all the pico on my chimichanga and bam dark ass guac !!! Called back and the chick that answered tried to tell me that the guac was discolored because they didn't put enough sauce in the guac. No homegirl ! Guac turns dark when it's old! You have to try to Chile Verde. I get the burrito instead of beans I get rice and then I have it made chimichanga style. Get some of the sauce on the side pour it over it it's amazing. But when I'm not feeling that I'll go to the Baja monster burrito with Carnitas Or the new 619 monster burrito it's a beast. No way you eat the whole thing. read more

The food is not bad. The wife really liked the shredded beef, said it was super tender. The taquitos clearly were fried to order. About what you would expect for this kind of place. The service is really good. The cashier is helpful and friendly, not overly so, but just right. It would be a nice place to have a relaxing dinner, enjoy a cold beer and spend some time chatting over dinner. However....I was eating as fast as I could so that I could away from the awful country music. It's the really twangy, dirty south stuff...not the pop versions or the rock style. I have to say I'm very disappointed. I used to eat here a lot but stopped. They must have changed cooks or something or changed their business plan for the worse. The food quality literally sucked. They had the best crunchy shredded beef Tacos around but Now they look like crap. The meat was not shredded but in chunks. The lettuce and cheese was thrown on. Looked like it fell and they tried to put it back together. Worse yet it was over fried and super hard almost burnt. The beans were also burned. Bad all around. Last time I ever go there. I used to love this place and would always go there. There food is still good to this day but unfortunately I will never go again. Ordered grilled chicken wrap huge dry tortilla over filled with the heart of romaine lettuce ( hard part) small amount of cheese and corn and like no grilled chicken , husband ordered California burrito it was dry with cold cold fries and meat and the cheese wasn't even melted ! Very good solid Mexican food. Not fast food and not top of the line mexican restaurant either. This restaurant is somewhere we go all the time. I get tired of fast food like taco bell or del taco. This place hits the spot. Very clean and the front counter girls are all very nice. My kiddo, loves stopping here for dinner or lunch. She orders a special burrito, hold this and add that which they never mind making her special request for her. 2 burritos, 3 shredded beef tacos and 1 drink, right under 20 bucks. If your ever hungry for good solid Mexican food this is the place. Los primos, is like alberto's their all over the place. But this place is way better food and cleaner. We recently moved into the neighborhood and wanted to check out Los Primos. We've been here 4 times now to give them a fair chance, but in 4 visits the only thing worth ordering is the cinnamon crisps. The rolled tacos had the life cooked out of them, the tortillas were so hard we weren't able to eat them. The machaca monster breakfast burrito was a joke, the machaca had the texture of mush, had no seasoning and no taste. The service in all 4 visits was consistently extremely slow. So after giving them 4 tries to impress us and 4 failures, we won't be back ever. They got 2 stars because the salsa bar is decent and they have free hot carrots and jalapenos. read more

Been to this location in Perris a couple of times while in the area and each time it is outstanding food! Very friendly counter staff and the food is authentic and plentiful. Very happy to find such great mexican food....I don't usually like eating mexican food in a chain restaurant...but this little place is so authentically good each time...that I will have to try another location near my own home. Took our niece for her birthday. She really wanted a monster burrito. She ended up ordering a torta and she LOVED it. We all got something different and split the food (monster food is no joke... Second entree we picked up ourself while cashier took an order (socialized). Final entree came straight from the refrigerator to our table along with the second half of second entree.
