The call log where Isabel the reception is hung up on me five times in a row before she answered my call.
David R.

This office does not care about its patients. The receptionist Isabel hung up on me five times in a row before for she finally answered my call. She very rudely told me the doctor has not yet accepted my referral from my doctor. One month later I called back and she said the same thing. Los Palos Gastroenterology just completely rejected me and left me alone to deal with my serious acid reflux problems including throat congestion and choking.

Going in the back door! All checked good

I actually chose a couple of doctors before but ended up canceling both times. Finally, after more searching, I found Dr. Kristina Hobson in Los Gatos. To be honest, when I first walked into her office, I was already looking for an excuse to cancel again. But once I spoke with her, I was really impressed with her knowledge and the way she explained everything, so I decided to keep my appointment. Today was my procedure at Silicon Valley Surgery Center, and I had such a great experience. The facility was clean, calm, and very nice. Every single person I interacted with was wonderful. From the front desk to Barbara, who helped review my paperwork everyone was kind and welcoming. My first nurse, Kay, was incredibly nice, knowledgeable, and professional. When she went on break, Nicole took over she was also amazing. I'm not a fan of needles at all, but she did my IV so gently and with so much care. Then Kat, the third nurse, took me to the procedure room she was kind, calm, and very professional. Dr. Michael Block, the anesthesiologist, was excellent. He actually texted me the night before to ask if I wanted to review everything ahead of time or on the day of the procedure, which I really appreciated. We exchanged a few messages, and then he spoke with me again before the procedure and explained everything clearly. He was confident, knowledgeable, and very reassuring. In the procedure room, I fell asleep within seconds and woke up quickly afterward feeling great. Within about 30 minutes, I felt completely fine. I was even able to take calls and respond to emails. And now, about Dr. Hobson ,she is truly a 10 out of 10. Honestly, the entire experience was 10 out of 10. From the office to the surgery center, every single nurse and staff member was exceptional. I'm a very detail-oriented and perfectionist person because of my job, so I don't say this lightly. Something I was so scared of and postponed for 5 years turned into such a smooth and positive experience. Thank you to everyone

Dr. Dan Beilin has been seeing my husband, Chris, for about 2 months now. We had been to MANY…read morepractitioners (acupuncturist, DC, ND, several MD's, CMT, etc..) trying to understand what caused him to land in the ER in October of 2011. It wasn't until we saw Dr.Beilin that we started to get some answers. It was Dr. Beilin who said that his blood showed a virus of some sort. He was able to determine this using the fascinating approach of darkfield microscopy and also utilizing thermography to pinpoint the exact location of the infection. Not to mention that he stocks top quality supplements at his office, so it's a one stop shop when you see him. He truly delivers quality service to his patients. We then went to his PCP (MD) and asked (more like demanded) for a lab slip to identify any abnormalities in his blood. Sure enough! Chris had a viral infection! That was just the start. Here we are about 2 months later on the road to recovery and to a more thriving state. Dr. Beilin is very interested in getting his patients back to optimal health, unlike many of the other people we have seen who just want to mask the symptoms and have you think you are getting better. He looks for the root of the problem and a person like this is hard to find. He listens to you and educates you. He doesn't overbook his practice and has set durations for each appointment that are incredibly fair and reasonable. He is a dedicated practitioner whose knowledge and experience surpasses most MD's! If I could give 15 stars, I would. Get him on your healthcare team, I promise you won't regret it! P.S. Nicole, his office administrator, is also incredibly helpful and friendly. What more could one ask for?

Dr Dan's website looked promising, and he initially presented as a very attentive doctor -…read morelistening with empathy and spending more time delving into my case than any provider I had seen before. Unfortunately, this initial impression was deceiving. Being under Dr Dan's care ultimately caused significantly more harm than the illness I sought treatment for. While his supplements helped with my initial symptoms, he said that his thermography scans showed other issues that required further treatment. Over time, the daily regimen he prescribed grew until I was taking 17 supplements, several of them multiple times a day. As this progressed, I began experiencing new symptoms - extreme weight loss, sleeping only 1 or 2 hours a night, hair loss, and severe anxiety that left me waking up in a state of panic most days. When I raised concerns that the supplements might be contributing, he was dismissive to the point of defensiveness and attributed my symptoms to menopause and other conditions. Dr Dan also advised on many other aspects of my daily life - from acceptable water sources to food choices and personal hygiene products. That level of influence extended beyond my own health when he recommended that I give my dog ibuprofen for her hip pain. His website states that he worked with a vet, and he'd spoken about treating pets in the past, so I followed his advice. I was shocked to learn that ibuprofen is toxic to dogs. My poor pup became seriously ill, developed gastrointestinal bleeding, and required emergency veterinary care and months of follow-up treatment. This was a turning point for me, and I realized that I had placed my trust in the wrong provider. As I gradually discontinued the supplements, my health started to improve. I sought a second opinion from another integrative medical practice and was told that the supplements were unnecessary and that thermography scans are generally considered unreliable diagnostic tools. They also confirmed that the combination of two supplements I was taking at high doses likely overstimulated my nervous system and caused the weight loss, insomnia, and anxiety. Since stopping the supplements I've regained weight, my hair is growing back, my sleep has returned to normal, and the anxiety has finally subsided. It's difficult to come to terms with how much I deteriorated over 20 months under Dr Dan's care while my concerns were repeatedly dismissed. I do not recommend trusting this provider with your health and well-being.

1 Star I wish I…read morewould have trusted my gut and listened to the negative reviews I saw before making an appointment with Dr. Shah. From the beginning, his bedside manner was extremely poor, and more concerning was his lack of effective care. I initially went in for hemorrhoids, but after each visit, my condition actually worsened. Days after appointments, I was consistently in more pain and dealing with worsening symptoms. When I raised concerns and explained that things were getting worse--eventually leading to a new diagnosis of ulcerative colitis--his response was shocking. He literally shrugged his shoulders and said, "I don't know what you want me to do." At that point, I knew I had to find a new doctor. What followed was one of the most difficult years of my life. I was out of work for nearly a year. I'm self-employed and fully support myself, and I physically couldn't be away from a bathroom for more than 10 minutes. The financial and personal toll was overwhelming. To make matters worse, when I later reached out regarding the high medical bills--given my worsening condition and lack of resolution--he responded by sending a dismissive letter stating he would no longer serve as my physician. The lack of accountability and professionalism was honestly shocking. If I can help even one person avoid this experience, please take this as a warning and seek care elsewhere. On a positive note, I found care with Monterey G.I., and they have been fantastic. Overly friendly and extremely knowledgeable!
