At least with Dr. Elene, you can actually ask for her, and get to speak with her! Dr. Elene's strength is that she will work with you. If you've done your research and you have ideas, she will welcome those ideas and make suggestions of her own. Dr. Elene's weakness is that she doesn't follow up well, so you need to be the one to calendar your follow up. If you can deal with this, then she is the doc for you. She is warm, compassionate, and loving. She's smart and well educated. Also, since she's thinking on many different levels, she comes up with interesting ideas. She's not for everyone, but for me, she is a common sense, wonderful person and doc.

However - expect to wait weeks (or months) for an appointment, and then plan on a 2 hour wait for that appointment. If your appointment is at 1 pm, she will see you at 3. Clear your calendar. Expect no productivity. Bring a book. You can try to call ahead to see how far behind she is, but you will probably be told to come in on time for your appointment. I wish she would adapt her scheduling to accommodate this, but after several years with her, it hasn't changed. Office management has changed. Even ownership has changed. Time management is still poor. Quality of care is a solid 5+ stars. You will bleed out or miss a full meal waiting though. Therefore 1 star for time management. That averages out to 3.

I even left and came back at one point and they still weren't ready and said 20 minutes where I waited .... you guessed it over 20 minutes . I never leave bad reviews but this is wild . It was not a last minute appointment and the waiting room only had one other person In it. If you're going there you may as well take the day off work .
