I don't understand the popularity. My family and I went for the first time after seeing the Yelp…read morerating and it is a one and done. The positive first: The lime mojito was probably the best I've had. The salsa is close to the best in Goldsboro. My son raved over his birria tacos. That was it... 3 things form the entire meal. The wait time from order to receiving food seemed a little long since there was less than a handful of people when we arrived. The guacamole was edible but not as good as it should be. My younger son and I asked for no cheese sauce on the kids burrito and he got it anyway. Tamales are hard to find and to get them with questionable looking ground beef and beans dumped on them was disappointing. They were okay once I scrapped that off. The refried beans were terrible. The rice was okay and the black beans tasted like they came strait from a can. The deal breaker is when the waiter came and told me he made a mistake. He proceeded to tell me he gave another table my ticket and flashed a signed ticket and proceeded to show me their tab that was almost $5 more and asked me if I would just pay their ticket. He kept saying something about him paying the $5 but he was not saying how and I was put on the spot. I asked him to remove a $2 item on that ticket and agreed just to get it over with. He should have reprinted my ticket and dealt with the mistake behind the scenes.

The salsa had a hint of spice, the well rounded and richness of tomato with the appropriate zing. Entrees: I had the al pastor and carne asada tacos for dine in - the meat was well seasoned, and the tortillas fresh and phenomenal! Served with radicchio and grilled onions+peppers. Plus an avocado crema sauce (delicious) and a red sauce was a bit on the bitter side for me. To go: I had the pupusas (OMG!) a must order! The cheese+pepper and the pork+cheese were both something! 100% recommend this restaurant for delicious and authentic Latin food.
