I feel like I'm gatekeeping by not writing a review for this place. I have been coming here consistently for a couple of years now and they are hands down top two or three Mexican food in Portland. Their carne asada is absolutely delicious and their pastor is TO DIE FOR. The pineapple ratio is perfect and their portions are great. I like getting tacos when I'm not as hungry and go for either a burrito or quesadilla when I'm looking for a bigger portion. Best part is they're open super late! Love the mural that they had painted for the location and just them so much 10/10 no notes!

Check this place out it's a must service is great call in your order and by the time you get there food is steaming hot ready to eat salsa now that's a true home made salsa. This place makes me think I'm eating at my moms house yummmm. Burritos were on point $10 for a big thick burrito full of meat no fat. Picnic table right next to truck with a nice view of a art.

One of my favorite spots for tacos. The truck location looks a little sketch but don't let that deter you. My favorites are the lengua and al pastor tacos. The tacos have lots of meat and their salsa is amazing.

Best Mexican in town period. Most places can't even compare. Plus the staff are super nice.

Rice (fluffy) and Beans (well seasoned) both were really delicious. Service~Pearlina was super sweet, knew the menu very well and, had exceptional service. Both the fish and the prawns were cooked in a red sauce that was delicious! I meant to ask for blue corn tortillas but was so excited to find shrimp & fish tacos that weren't deep-fried that I forgot to ask for them. The regular corn tortillas were excellent, though, so it was not a bad mistake to make. I also had jamaica to drink and let me tell you... it was not made from a mix! It was dark, thirst-quenching, and perfectly made. Most jamaica is super sweet - this was not! I love the flavor of real hibiscus and this did not disappoint. My friends had chile relleno bowls and birria tacos, all of which was excellent. Their watermelon margaritas were tasty and refreshing! Our orders were taken by a helpful person at the cash register and the food was served quickly by a friendly server. The inside and outside areas were clean and tidy, with plenty of seating available at the outside tables. The outdoor seating area is under cover making it a good choice for both summer & winter dining. Definitely going on my "have to go back and try something else" list!

It is the kind of place you instantly feel comfortable settling into. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly kind, and the service was genuinely great throughout. We ordered the Quekas with vegan chorizo and black beans and they were SO good, honestly a standout. The chips and guac were also a hit, and I loved that the guac was actually cold. Such a small detail that makes a big difference. The Citrus Salad was super fresh, crisp, and delicious, which balanced everything out perfectly. I also tried the NA classic margarita and it was so refreshing. I loved the subtle touch of orange juice. Overall, such a lovely spot with amazing food, great vibes, and thoughtful details. I will definitely be back!

Today my wife and I enjoyed scrumptious Tacotes, one chicken and one Bok Choy with house made salsa. Also, the Tetela de Requeson, maiz, beans and sprouting broccoli with a house made requeson - kind of like ricotta cheese - very beautifully plated and so delicious. Extra side of yummy and creamy black bean frijoles with sour cream, butter, tortillas. Instead of desert, the Mezcal, chile and lime was refreshing. Right now open for lunch Thursday through Sunday 10-3pm. No fixed menu, changes with what's fresh - the way chef Angel loves to cook respecting what is in season. Yes, the food plated looks so good, I am inspired to dig in.
