    Delicous tacos

The food here is amazing, full of authentic Mexican dishes and my personal favorite- the tacos. As a hispanic, I have tried many different kinds of tacos. But the ones at Pedacito are Mexico are the best I've had! 10/10 Recommend.

It's right next to a weed shop

I was ready to give up on finding a great veggie burrito in Portland. Then I found Pedacito De Mexico. The owner and head chef gets my order right every time even with my weird custom requests. I love how accommodating she is about me customizing my own burrito and now I don't even have to ask. She knows exactly what I want every time. Read til the end to get tips on making your burrito extra awesome. The problem with this place is that the address, the listed hours and phone number is wrong on Yelp. The owner is not internet savvy enough to fix it so I messaged yelp about this and hopefully it's fixed soon. The correct address is 1313 NE Alberta St In case you want to preorder a burrito... The phone is: 360-998-7268 I've added a photo of the correct hours. She stays open til about 8:30pm everyday except she is closed on Sundays. Here's my tip for getting amazing burritos. Have her grill the burrito like a panini press when it's done. This makes the tortilla and everything taste amazing. I always ask for extra avocado. Plus I have her mix both types of beans in my burrito. Last, I just started having her add cactus or nopales into my veggie burrito and it's really good. I hope this place stays open forever but at the same time I hope she doesn't get too busy. Overall, this is my favorite burrito in Portland after trying like 10 highly rated yelp spots. I definitely recommend you trying this place out.

    Quesadilla!! YES!!!!

My former most convenient Mexican place took quesadillas off the regular menu. When I asked they said they could still make them but I'm not one of those people. Those fancy people who wait in line to eat and nonsense. Fortunately Pedacito made the jump from a crappy pod to a, well, somewhat less crappy pod. This pod is something of a disaster, but it has a cart with pretty damn good quesadillas! The burritos are good, too. Haven't tried the tacos yet but they're the small soft tortilla variety which I guess is all authentic and boo hoo hoo. It's family run, the mom will probably make your food. The prices are cheap and they (IIRC) have both American and Mexican coke. Sweeeeeet. Welcome to this irritating neighborhood, Pedacito!

Tasty tacos at Pedacito de Mexico!

Yasss! I'm back and in full effect. I have to give a shout out to Pedacito de Mexico for getting me back into the swang of thangs. This food cart is located off Killingsworth/Interstate... Sadly, the Killingsworth Station Food Cart Square, has been kind of a flop. There used to be a few food carts at the location, but they all closed shop. They just weren't getting enough business. It's bizarre because there is heavy foot traffic in the area. There are always people getting off/on the Yellow MAX Line, the #72 runs past it frequently, and so on. My favorite cart was The Hope Kitchen. They hooked up their soul food dishes! Pedacito de Mexico and a coffee cart popped up after the other places left. The coffee shop gave up, leaving Pedacito de Mexico to fend for themselves. The owner is friendly. She's appreciative when you order food. I'm sure it must be hard trying to keep her business going. The only thing I've had from Pedacito are the tacos. I was surprised the first time I got a bag of little tacos. I wondered if the tacos were the standard size of street food in Mexico. You know in America we insist on super sizing everything. The little tacos were tasty, though. I also got a sangria soda. I was disappointed there was no alcohol in that bottle :) It had an interesting flavor. While I have stuck with the taco, I recommend Pedacito de Mexico. It's authentic Mexican food and I'm sure the other food items are just as good. Pedacito will definitely be my spot for the summer!

    Asada tacos.

Bomb carnitas and chorizo. Enjoyed the guacamole burrito and nachos. Nice grilled tortilla on the burrito. We'll be back!

I came after a review I read on Eater for FoPo area eats. I'm not a huge fried food fan but this place was good. I got the Steelhead trout fish and chips. Wait was ok they give you a buzzer so you can stroll around the food court. Took about 10 mins not bad. The locally sourced steelhead was a delicious surprise. Tender, juicy fish with crispy breading. Good seasoning. Fries were thicker so not as crispy but still hearty. 3 medium sized pieces of fish. They included ketchup for the fries as well as malt vinegar and tartar sauce for authentic fish dip. Wedge of lemon, too! All in a earth-friendly cardboard box. They take credit just fine. Very convenient location at Carts on Foster just down the street from where I was staying. So I walked back and enjoyed there. If you're staying you could probably cruise over to any local breweries or the bar cart for a beer to complement the fried food. Good time!!!

The staff is always friendly, the service is prompt, and orders come out quickly and are plated so beautifully they *must* be photographed every time. I'm a creature of habit so I could order flautas here forever, but I promised myself I would try the chile relleno next time we go. Wish me luck! We love the casual vibe. It's comfy, there's usually a place to sit, but it can get packed when the weather is good. The space is welcoming and offers opportunities to chat with others if you want. It's a great space that fosters community.

It was payday, my Friday, and my plans to make spaghetti carbonara were foiled by frozen bacon (…read moreoops) and a mountain of dirty dishes ( not. my. job.) and my freakin' exhaustion. Teen wanted boba, and we decided to order Mediterranean from this place which also strangely sells boba. Yes, I rewarded the chore avoidance. Sue me. I worked four tens, all week my mental health clients were stressed and distressed, and I was honestly a lump. We both ordered a Moroccan stewed chicken that comes with saffron rice, salad, and three spicy sauces - one yogurt and maybe sumac? , one sriracha, and one yogurt mixed with sriracha maybe? We liked the rice, chicken, salad, and the yogurt sauce. Just ok though. Not omg good. I wish the two other sauces had been in separate containers and not on the rice. My mint and honey tea was fine. Kid's boba was not full. Not because it spilled either, because it was sealed with the boba seal lid thingy. For $6 that was disappointing. The hummus and dolmades plate came with one sad not good pita, ONE, and I think our Uber eats driver flung it out the window like kids used to deliver newspapers from their bikes because yogurt sauce was freaking everywhere. The hummus was not great. Teen ( the dolmades fan) said the grape leaves were good. Probably not a repeat in store. One and done.
