We ordered the grilled chicken nachos to start. This is a massive portion, easily a full meal, with juicy, flavorful chicken. It was super tasty! For our meals, he ordered the ACP Texano which has three different proteins along with rice and tons of veggies topped with delicious creamy queso. It was a giant portion! I ordered the Fajita Aye Toro which also came with a ton of food. The protein included pork belly which I have never had in fajitas so I was curious about the taste along with the other meats. It was tasty but nothing extraordinary. I would order it again but not necessarily make it my only order here (their other food is also sooo tasty!). We also had some horchata which was fresh and delicious!

Meh. The service and…read moredecor are nice, but it's typically not a place I'd pick out just driving by. The exterior looks like a barn, while the inside is decorated in an eclectic style. The food is what everybody raves about though. Their top seller is appropriately named "The Flaming Amy", your choice of protein with 'spicy' toppings, like jalapeños and the Flaming Amy salsa. In all honesty, it's not that hot. There is a lingering spicy note, but not what I would consider "Flaming Hot". Needed more salsa to even get that heat to linger. The chips are not salted either, which is a shame, bc the salsa bar is legit. Several good options, like the Pineapple Jalapeño and the Wasabi. The portion sizes are good too, for the price. Which is why this place got a better star rating. And they're a local staple. People seem to love this place - for a Wednesday afternoon, the place was quite busy. I'm not saying to NOT try this place, but if you want to "bring the heat", coming to "flaming" isn't where I'd turn.

The staff seemed…read moreto be having a rough day, and unfortunately that came across in how they spoke to customers, a little short and rude, even if unintentional. I get that everyone has bad days, but it's not something that should come through to customers. The food itself was okay, nothing special, but not bad either. The horchata, though, was a miss for me. It was way over-seasoned with a tangy flavor that didn't match any horchata I've had before, which made it hard to finish. Not a terrible experience overall, but between the service and the drink, I probably won't be rushing back...

I enjoyed the lengua tacos. I did not care for the menudo and threw all of it away after a few bites. I never threw away food I ordered until I tasted that menudo. Even though it was one of the few places in the area with good lengua tacos, I don't know if I would visit this place again.
