I came here last week without even realizing this place existed since it seems like most of their orders are takeout. It's a cute spot with some seating available. I ordered one beef taco and one chicken taco. I wasn't sure if the beef was steak or shredded at first, but I ended up loving the beef way more than the chicken. I'm pretty sure it was steak, and it was so good that I already know what I'm getting next time. The food came out quickly, prices were reasonable, the place was clean, and the girl working there was very helpful. I'll definitely be back, and next time I'm getting two steak tacos. read more

First time here on Friday, 4/3/2026, Good Friday! It's a small place with about 3 tables and a bar type table. We heard good things about their fish and shrimp tacos. I ordered both and they didn't disappoint on any level, starting with a good quality corn tortilla that can hold the generous shrimp/fish, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and their sauce. They tasted much better than I expected. The green and red salsa complimented all the flavors. Get extra napkins, it's messy and not in a bad way. It was a busy night and the 10-15 minutes was well worth the wait! We will be back for their other tacos. Don't pass this one up! read more

I was craving some chips and guac, so I decided to try out this shop as it was on my way home. This restaurant is located in a little square all the way at the corner of the strip of stores. Parking is usually fine but the spots are pretty narrow and it can occasionally get busy. The chips and guac came out to about $10, which to be honest was pretty shocking when I first saw the total. When I received the food, it was very obviously freshly made and I guess the price was a bit more justified than I had originally been imagining. The guac was very good, and I enjoyed it a lot. The chips were freshly fried, which would've been great if they hadn't been super oily. Nevertheless, they tasted great with a squeeze of lime and dipped in the guac. After reading great reviews, we came in at 4pm on a weekday and no one else was in the restaurant. The ambiance was very cute, so it felt promising. The woman serving us seemed to have an attitude at first and huffed when we asked if we could get one of each taco for their special that they offer (didnt think that would be a problem given that the prices are high) and no one else was there. She didn't answer the question and just moved onto asking us something else. We have never been here before so we were taking a few extra seconds to decide what we wanted. Also seemed to annoy her. Decided to give her some grace since she had a mask on, thought maybe she was sick. After waiting about 25 minutes for our food. She was being nicer after she had our order ready. Idk if you are going to have a restaurant and be taking orders i feel like you should be a little more welcoming. Food was presented well, and had a lot of meat. Unfortunately still pretty bland, and the salsa was bland as well. Also just stood and stared at us while we were getting our salsa, again just a little strange. Let's talk food: The salsa is absolutely BOMB -- honestly some of the best I've had anywhere. I was practically drinking it! Big shoutout to the young girl working there -- she has the most chill, professional, and amazing customer service skills I've seen in a long time. Please, pay her well because she is a true gem! I was a little shocked they ran out of carnitas and chicken on a Friday night, but honestly, that just shows how popular they are -- everyone's trying to get a plate! The beef tacos, though, needed some help. There was zero seasoning -- I had to add salt and drown them in that incredible salsa to bring them to life. Beans and rice were very good -- not life-changing but definitely solid. Portion sizes are awesome -- they are NOT chincy with the food at all, and I appreciate that so much. As San Diego natives, my partner and I are always looking for a good taco shop that fills the void we have away from home. We moved to burbank not too long ago and just when we began to permanently give up on the selection in the area after much disappointment, Los Compadres opened down the street from us! To our delight, this is easily the best taco shop in Burbank. Last week we tried the 3 fish taco special and custom ordered a California Burrito-- carne asada, fries, sour cream, pico de gallo, cheese, and guacamole. We enjoyed our food but wanted to give it one more shot and try the Loaded Fries before coming to a verdict. After trying the steak and spicy chicken fries today I can confidently say that these were the best we've had since moving to LA in general and the first to really get the San Diego style fries correct! They were perfectly crispy and the meat was so flavorful coupled with the authentic salsas. Not to mention the salsa was consistently *actually* spicy and delicious! The staff was very accommodating and sweet both times we've been in, especially the lovely cashier. If I had one small suggestion as a new regular, I'd love to see more variety in the burrito options--especially a California Burrito mastered and on the menu ready to order. Just found my new taco spot. Stopped in tonight right before closing (I hate being that person but I didn't realize they closed at 8, I thought they closed at 9, ooops!) but they were so nice and got our to go order ready so quickly. Burbank needed a good street-taco style spot and this place is just what we were missing, since we don't have as many food trucks as other cities (or at least not near my part of town). My family orders almost weekly. Chatted with the owners a few times and they're good people! Prices are good, they give you really healthy portions too. It does take a while to get your order if you walk in, but that's because they make everything fresh to order. Worth it imo, but order online or call if you wanna skip the wait.
