Rude. I called on the phone to check if they had Pre-made Birria today as they had in the past when I stopped by and the man on the phone acted like he had no idea what I was talking about. He rudely continued to tell me that "THEY ARE CALLED CARNITAS" Now I am not Hispanic but I lived in Los Angeles for the last couple years and know carnitas & Birra are not the same thing. Did not appreciate the attitude and will not be returning to this store. read more

A small selection of raw ingredients at good prices. (Best place for corn tortillas and beans). The real gem though are the authentic homemade, chicken and pork tamales every Sunday. I love the chicken ones. Get there early or order ahead and they hold some for you. They're the best I've found since moving to the burgh. read more

I occasionally shop at this Whole Foods grocery store. Most recently, I needed to purchase vegan foods for a get-together, and I found a few flavors of vegan cupcakes here. Furthermore, my husband felt happy with this store's large selection of cheeses. We picked out several other foods to buy. At the checkout, we did not have to wait in line for long. The cashier spoke politely with us. However, for some reason, Whole Foods does not link my cell-phone number from Amazon, and I cannot get my cellular connection or Wi-Fi to work in their store, so I never receive the Prime discounts. Overall, I will continue to do my regular grocery shopping at other stores, and I will continue to occasionally visit this Whole Foods for particular types of foods.

Shenot Farm was founded by the Shenot family in the 1800s. Generations of family members raised…read moreanimals and grew produce. Today, family members grow vegetables such as corn and fruits such as apples. According to the family's website, they use both conventional and organic farming practices. On the farm's website, I also read that throughout the year, Shenot Farm offers events such as hayrides; pick-your-own flowers, apples, and pumpkins; and pumpkin-smashes. In the autumn they sell flowers, pumpkins, cornstalks, Thanksgiving turkeys, and fruit baskets, and in the winter they sell Christmas trees and wreaths. On a Saturday, my husband and I visited this farm's market to browse their foods. We parked our vehicle in their free parking lot. Inside the market, we saw foods such as lettuce, cabbage, green beans, brussels sprouts, beets, plums, sausages, chicken meats, eggs, milk, cheeses, apple ciders, cookies, pies, fudges, popcorns, jams, bread loaves, bagels, seasonings, sauces and dressings, salsas, applesauces, syrups, dessert mixes, granolas, teas, honeys, ice creams, etcetera! We also saw some non-food items such as candles and t-shirts. I selected an orange-colored "cheddar" cauliflower head, apple crisp mix, caramel-apple-pie fudge, and jars of banana butter, strawberry jelly, and apple butter. My husband and I had not previously eaten a few of the unique products, so we felt excited to try them. At the checkout counter, an employee promptly greeted us, accurately rang up our purchase, carefully bagged our foods, and thanked us. Each food cost roughly several dollars.

They were bringing pumpkin over in a box from another section of the farm, then placing them on the ground. So there was still a lot of pre-cut pumpkins to choose from. The cost to walk up to the patch is $2 and the hay ride is $5 I believe. The store has a great selection of fresh produce, desserts, and some meat options. We love Shenot Farms!

I loved how I was greeted and how it felt welcoming + how many things they offer outside of the drinks. They sell plants and other cute little items (esp Pittsburgh themed). I am a huge, let me say huge again, matcha snob. I know the best of the best and I get so nervous trying other shop's matchas but I was really blown away with how good this tasted. I did get lavender as a flavor shot because some shops are either a hit or a miss with lavender (or any flavor where you can't taste it). I could definitely taste the lavender in here and it was really refreshing. To the gluten free community, this muffin was so good. I wish I remembered the name of who made it but it wasn't too sweet for being a muffin and was really good especially warmed. I felt like I was enjoying a balance of both sweet and refreshing than an overkill. I am also one of those people that would put chocolate with my matcha and possibly lavender as it combines really well. I definitely want to come back and try their coffee drinks as I'm curious about it. Another positive is their parking and getting out of the lot isn't so scary as there is a light and you don't have to risk your life trying to cut across the highway to get where you're going. The only complaint I would have, though it was a lovely treat, is that the pricing seemed a lot higher than what I'm used to paying at other local coffee shops. I felt like $1 for non-dairy milk is odd when a lot of other shops charge either 0 to .50 cents max and I felt like the drink overall was more pricey than if I went to another shop for a matcha. I don't know how often I will be back but it was nice to try it. (Gluten free stuff is always pricey so I can't complain about that..)

The servers aren't trained and dont come to check in on you, and they also ignore you so if you need something else after you ordered, good luck finding them. ambiance - it was just horrible with the tv that plays ads and servers that just don't engage.

I ordered the Lil Cinder out of the can, which was a wonderfully cheap $3. It's one of my favorites at their other location and was happy it had a consistent smooth and refreshing taste out of the can too. I would have liked some more beer options, like sour or wheat beers, but understand it's only the taproom.
