Shrimp burrito

To start of, the salsa and chips were okay. Not the greatest salsa. The tacos, the shrimp itself very well seasoned, but the tortilla itself not great. Overall the taco plate a 3/5. The bay burrito, the filling lacked flavor it would be a 2/5. Customer service was standard, nothing bad to say about that.

Shredded beef taquitos

I went there with my mom for her birthday, we love Mexican and there's not many places to go in osos. She was addicted to the chips and salsa, their chips were very crispy and light, not too hard; really good and stood out from other chips. We shared some beef taquitos; they came out quick with sour cream, guac, and all the good stuff. The shredded beef was juicy and tender. They gave us wine and beer which was amazing! The waitress was so sweet and nice, she treated us extremely well, and loved her smile. Really outstanding service and food, we are definitely going again! Highly recommended!!

Chicken Enchiladas with homemade mole sauce. Delicious!

Our server was super sweet and helpful. I tried the mole chicken Enchiladas. It was like eating them in someone's home. Delicious and cravable! I will definitely be back!

First let's start with the salsa and chips. The salsa tastes like canned diced tomatoes with water added then add a few sprinkles of cilantro no flavor what's so ever and the chips were stale and overcooked I ordered the Los Cabo's Tostada with chili verde that I could not eat I took two bites and sent it back. The meat was cold besides lacking flavor. I will not go back usually I will try again just hoping it was a bad day but no not again. Guess I should be happy I got 15% off inedible food, lucky for me I had chicken noodle soup and and homemade biscuit at home

tortilla soup, yum.

After a hike at Montaña de Oro, Los Cabos was a perfect stop for a meal. It was our first time and we will definitely be back. I recommend the cup of soups, wow, the albondigas soup was 10/10 and the tortilla soup was tasty! We also ordered the Nachos de asada to share and it was the perfect size. The service was spectacular, Stacie/Stacy was such a sweet and attentive host/server. Side note: We had a picky eater in the group and this restaurant passed the test. We look forward to visiting again on another trip into town as we were visiting from Los Angeles.

My favorite is the #20 combo, taco, enchilada beans and rice. It is consistently delicious, which is hard to find these days. Their salsa is the best! I hate to say that but it's the truth. It felt like we were an inconvenience the couple of times we spoke to them. They never came to check on us after we got our food. We all had run out of our beverages and they were never refilled. At one point I tried to flag a waitress down because we wanted to order dessert but it seemed impossible to get her attention. She brought us the check without asking us if we wanted anything else. It was quite obvious that we were celebrating a birthday so the fact that we weren't asked if we wanted dessert (which we would have been happy to pay for!!!) felt extra strange. The restaurant wasn't very crowded but even if it was, the service we received still would have felt insane. Chairs are very uncomfortable, and the restaurant is dark but rustic feeling. Gave 2 stars because the salsa was really good, but everything else was a let down. I do not recommend unfortunately.

The tendon comes from the area above the hooves. I request not to have the hoof. This is an ode and a love letter to a people and a culture that took what would have been discarded ingredients and made it phenomenal. Most other restaurants in the area only serve this on the weekend and usually reserved for Sunday, but here it is a daily staple and has become my go to dish. The tripe is cooked thoroughly and holds on to the rich flavors of the both with profound care. And the broth is unctuous and rich while steeped in the history of chilies and patience. The tendon when added in gives a greater depth and silkiness that elevates this dish even further. Of course, onion, coriander and oregano gives it the perfect herbaceous notes and balances out the richness with cool notes. This isn't just a soup, this is an experience that one has to have, that one deserves. To taste the food of a people's is to understand their strength, perseverance, their love and ultimately brings you one step closer to a cultural awakening that you didn't know that you needed.

Doing our research on Yelp, we were fascinated with the scallop tacos along with all the other seafood options. We were not disappointed! Although it wasn't cheap for a taco place, the quality, quantity and service was well worth it! We got the scallop combo which must have had a dozen large scallops cooked to perfection. I ordered the Alaskan Cod tacos and I am still thinking about how good they were. Each had a huge pile of salad/slaw and corn tortillas. In addition we asked for lots of salsa refills and everything was happily provided. The vibe is casual and the focus is on the food. I wish I passed Morrow Bay more often just to come here again. One nit, I wish you could tip after the meal instead of before when using Apple Pay. I would have tipped more if I knew what was to come. Highly recommended.
