Food tasted great, the chipotle crema was a little spicy for me, but it was packed very poorly. I'm not sure if it was the Door dash driver or the restaurant, but two of the bowls fell apart when the order arrived (the insides spilled into the bag)

Surf and Turf Burrito

Great food with huge portions but I mainly had trouble just navigating the restaurant. When you walk in I assume you wait to order in front of where they build the burritos and bowls but my family and I stood there for about 9 minutes before we were even greeted or told we would be taken care of. Two other guests stared impatiently behind us and then there were three Uber Eats workers who were also impatiently waiting for their order. When we finally got our food it was an honest relief because I was happy we didn't wait that long for low quality. There is a lot of seating available and plenty of drinks to choose from even Horchata! The ambiance isn't great though, my party and I noticed there wasn't any music and it made things awkward especially because the entire restaurant was silent as well. I recommend taking the food to a nearby park in Brookline instead of staying in. Bilingual workers are always a plus! Incredible salsa!

Al Pastor Tacos, Chicken Taco, Steak Taco

Food was pretty good! Not super authentic, but the meats had a good flavor and the tacos themselves were pretty loaded. Service was fast and friendly, and the dining area was clean. Good spot if you're in the mood for something fast, fresh, and satisfying.

So good. Got it the first night we arrived because of convenience and then went back the next night because it was so good!

Salad no lettuce :(

I literally never write reviews but I ordered a salad and got no lettuce :( the guacamole is a tiny tiny container and costs $5. Heads up!!

Had a large burrito, something was tainted and did not agree with me. Will not go back! Eat here at your own risk.

Stopped in here with coworkers before a WBUR event. Friday at 5:30 and the place was pretty empty…read more Our waitress was very attentive and consistently available and checking in -- perhaps helped by the barren dining area, but still appreciated! We started with margaritas which were just so-so. My spicy marg was not spicy and generally we found them to be a little on the sweet side. Fine, but to me it was more like drinking some nice juice. We ordered the nachos to share (you must get these) and a variety of entrees. Food came out so quickly! There was also SO MUCH. I made another two full meals out of leftover nachos and fajitas and could have stretched to a third. It's definitely Americanized Mexican but it really hits the spot! I'd probably just stick with water for my drink next time.

We could hear Spanish music from…read moreacross the street, noticed where it was coming from and decided to stop for a bite and a drink. The place was bustling with people at the bar, at the tables. There was a DJ playing music with an MC giving away tickets. The hostess greeted us right away and informed us it was a 30 min wait for a table but that we could sit at the bar, We got lucky and sat at the bar, even though it was packed we didn't wait extremely long for our drinks nor our food. The bartenders were super nice. This is a good spot to kill time before a show or if you're just strolling by. I could tell there are some local regulars. Loved the rotating welcome sign at the entrance. My only complaint would be the ladies room could use a makeover. A nice paint job and new doors as one stall had no lock..

I had been to Tulum before with a friend and really enjoyed it. We got the Pulpo Al Pastor, the…read moreguacamole, and the Volcano Molcajete, which had beef, shrimp, pork, al pastor, cheese, nopales, rice and beans. Basically, the whole yard. The meat was cooked so well. Everything was so tender and juicy, and there was just so much food. I went back again this week for Mexican Independence Day, this time with my cute date. We shared the Queso con Chorizo and the Guacamole con Chicharrón. Honestly, those two things could have been dinner because the portions are so generous. Don't be fooled by the size of the queso plate. That thing is deep. Seriously, there is a LOT of queso in there. They also give you a generous amount of chicharrón with the guacamole. The chicharrón tasted warm, almost like it had just been fried, and added a really nice crunch to the guac. For a main, I had the octopus tacos, which had a lot of octopus in them. The watermelon and radish, along with the aioli, added such a nice contrast of sweet, savory, warm and cool. They were delicious. Honestly, my only problem with this place is that the food is so good and the portions are so fair that I had a hard time eating all of it. Oh well. We got to take some of it home, so I guess that's a good kind of problem. We also shared a flight of margaritas: the classic, mango, passionfruit, and watermelon. I think a flight is actually great for two people, unless you want to get crunk! The restaurant is very "instagramable" and the service was excellent. Overall, I think this is a great place for a date night with good eats and drinks!

Fast service, but just a little unclean at the actual tables themselves if dining in. I always get the 3 al pastor tacos, insanely good and addicting with spice and pineapple in there. Partner got a burrito. I always used to come here as a student, and so I may be biased. Is it the best Mexican food ever? No, far from it. But it's a great alternative that will always be there for you when you need it. Only gripe is that sometimes the food is messy (in a good way) and that they don't usually have limes, but were able to part with a lot of limes this time around (don't count on it though, very unusual they have limes). Even had a hot sauce wall so partner could try a bunch of different hot sauces with burrito.

And I love that they're open late for post-concert munchies. Everything is made to order and the ingredients are always fresh and delicious. As someone with food allergies, I really appreciate being able to simply avoid food allergens when ordering. The staff is always friendly and fast. The only downside is that the tables are a little high if you're using a wheelchair. One or two lower tables would be amazing for that purpose. The main area where one orders is completely handicapped accessible. There's additional seating in the back, but there's stairs to get to the area.

I wasn't impressed with the chicken tacos, because of the chewy consistency of the chicken and flavor of the corn tortilla, I prefer a flour tortilla. The strawberry margarita was delicious and even came with a strawberry garnish! Be prepared because this place gets busy and loud on a Friday night. I couldn't hear my friend across the table. We also struggled because we had a small high top and could barely fit all of our food on it. They did a good job clearing the table and waiting for us to finish our appetizers.
