And a couple side orders of their garlic aioli All in all came to $45 which sounds like a lot of money for a food truck. It would be the same as a restraunt dinner for 2, which the quality is. Everything at this food truck is mostly local produce and organic. Good vegetarian options available like salads, falafel and "The David Suzuki" veg burgers.

The eating area is outside with covered benches, and easy access to condiments, napkins, and trash cans. I ordered the fried Cajun shrimp and fries. Two things about serving spicy-type fried foods: The food should have some level of spice that is at least reminiscent of Cajun spice; especially if you advertise it as Louisiana style. Also, completely cook the battered-dipped shrimp. On these two fronts, Unkel failed miserably. Nothing is more disturbing than bitting into an under cooked, poorly seasoned shrimp. The taste of the batter changed my appetite from yum to yuck, and the rubber texture of the shrimp was enough to make me recoil a bit. I am hoping the owner finds a way to improve the seasoning and develop a better gage for frying foods. I do it by what it looks like and when I saw the shrimp, I thought it looked a little light in color, indicating it might not be fully cooked. This is a deal breaker for me. However, when I am out that way again, I am willing to give it a second try. I'm just hoping he will read this review and adjust his approach to Cajun -style fried foods.

Started with the Goza it was some of the best I've had even better than my own. Tried what they term as pork Poke' not typical but very tasty sweet from the pineapple, savory from the pickled onions with a large helping of sticky rice ( great rice ) and large portions. Finished with chicken Yakisoba very generous helping of great noodles veggies and bite size pieces of chicken. Made fresh to order quickly . Took a look around and found everything clean and tidy. We will be back soon to try other items on the menu.

It has tasty food at decent prices and the portions are nicely sized. The burgers are dressed well. They even keep the fry sauce in the fridge - very important since fry sauce is half mayo. And they have great specials, like Philly Friday - free drink with a Philly on that day. There are two sizes of combo meals: one with a 16-ounce drink, the other with (I believe) a 22-ounce. The larger drink comes with a free refill and the price isn't much higher. Go for the gusto. I got an elk burger at the Big Yellow Trailer. It was cooked rare - QUITE rare. Elk shouldn't be cooked less than Medium. And I thought the patty was a bit on the cool side. A couple more minutes on the grill and Big Yellow Trailer would have received another star. Next time I'll know to ask for it to be cooked a little longer, and that'll fix this problem. Also, be forewarned: this institution serves fries cut just before cooking and cooked in one pass. They're good. REALLY good. But a once-cooked fry isn't ever going to be crispy - that comes from cooking the potatoes about halfway, raising them from the oil to drain, then cooking them again to completion. If a fry must be crispy to suit your taste, these will not satisfy.
