We recently purchased a property in Redwood City that needed a complete kitchen remodel. The kitchen had outdated tile countertops, worn flooring, and years of wear and tear. After receiving several estimates, Victor's was not only the fairest but also the most reasonable without compromising quality. From day one, Victor was professional, communicative, and incredibly easy to work with. He kept us updated throughout the entire project, answered every question, and made us feel comfortable every step of the way. His crew was respectful, hardworking, and treated our home with care. Even better, they finished the entire remodel ahead of schedule in about 11 weeks. We replaced all of our cabinets, installed beautiful granite countertops with a stunning backsplash, and upgraded the flooring to wood-look porcelain tile. The craftsmanship and attention to detail exceeded our expectations, and we couldn't be happier with the finished result. What really impressed us was Victor's willingness to go above and beyond. We mentioned that our bathroom shower and faucet handles had the hot and cold reversed, and he fixed the issue quickly without hesitation. It's the little things like that that show he genuinely cares. If you're looking for a contractor who is honest, reliable, communicates well, and takes pride in his work, I highly recommend Victor and the VMS Construction team. We hope we don't need another major remodel anytime soon, but if we do, they'll be our first call. Thank you again for an amazing job! You guys are awesome!

I don't have a cleaning service come by regularly because I can't afford it, but I had family coming into town and wanted to make sure my home was in tip-top shape for them. I paid $130 (I live in a small 2-bedroom condo) for the deep cleaning. At first glance when I came home after they'd cleaned, everything looked great and the house smelled wonderful. The more I looked around, though, the more I noticed shortcuts -- for example, I moved a lamp and noticed that they hadn't moved ANYTHING when they were cleaning -- they just cleaned/dusted around things. The same goes for my kitchen counters, tables, etc. I also noticed that they didn't vacuum in the corners where little particles of dirt tend to accumulate. I also paid them an extra $20 to clean out my fridge, and they didn't wipe out any of the doors. Unfortunately, they gave my overbearing mother a number of things to complain about, which was exactly what I was hoping to avoid by hiring them. Overall, not a bad experience, just not a service that's worth nearly $130. I'm pretty sad to say that I won't be using Happy Planet's services again.
