Bland disgusting food, servers are not friendly at all. This used to be the best Mexican restaurant around when they first opened. What happened? I give up. No Mas! read more

Food, service, location & ambiance all exceptional! Highly recommend this Mexican restaurant.

No AC. Cheese on everything. This isn't Mexican food. It's souped up Taco Bell. How can you have a restaurant in this area, in July, with no AC? read more

Always amazing!!! Good is consistently great. Portions are huge. They are very good with special orders. Big plus!

This restaurant does everything right. The food is delicious and plentiful. The margaritas are the best in the area, and on special 2 for 1. The service is friendly and helpful. The restaurant has been renovated, and there are bright and interesting paintings. We really enjoy eating here. read more

Amazing food and great ambiance! Service was fast and friendly. I would definitely recommend.

One of the best Mexican food spots in the area. Highly recommend the Carnes en sus jugos dish. A very traditional Mexican dish full of flavor! It's my go to dish when I come here! read more

We were in Atoka tonight and wanted Mexican food and decided to try some place new (new for us). The waiters and hostess were all very friendly and the service was fast. The restaurant was very clean and the bathroom was both clean and stocked. The dip we had which was a combination of bean dip and cheese dip was very yummy and the portion was perfect. The enchiladas and the shrimp quesadilla were both very good. The rice and beans did not have a lot of flavor but, that could just be my taste. We would definitely go back again. read more

Best Mexican restaurant in our area. Wonderful owners, good service, and authentic food!

I've been back 4 times since my initial review and have tried something different each time. Nothing has changed, the place is still top notch. I did have a less than satisfactory tamale but it's hard to find a really good, fresh tamale anywhere since they're not usually top sellers. I highly recommend the Chile Rellano. PS - Ignore the recent reviews saying this is not a real Mexican restaurant serving mostly* authentic Mexican cuisine, because it is. * I say mostly because obviously, a restaurant that wants to make it in a small-town located in the SE US has to cater to people who are used to Americanized faux-Mexican food. read more

The food was fantastic, the service was excellent and we received our dinners within 10 minutes of placing our order. The ambiance was great. We will definitely be going back. read more

I was looking for Mexican food but not the typical chimichanga or burrito so I stopped in and had a Torta Ahogada which was awesome. I've never had it before and will definitely try it and Los Alebrijes again. I have been to Los Alebrijes about three times, each time I've been I have yet to be disappointed. My husband loved it so much on our last visit that he finished his "Floating Tacos"(which he said was delicious) so quick that he asked for the menu again to order more food He ordered the "Super Chimichanga" which was huge and very overly stuffed. He said that was absolutely delicious! I ordered my same "Carnes En Su Jugo"which is a very flavorful authentic broth filled with all kinds of "yum yum".Listen we were so greedy that we didn't take pictures but trust and believe all visits were fabulous! I recommend ordering the"Ruinite Rita"! Child I was"Lit"!!!! I sat there praying to sweet baby Jesus to 1st Please let me stand up 2nd Please let me make it to the door without falling out the door 3rd Please resist the urge to jump on table and start singing "Where Them Dollars At" 4th Please get my husband and myself home safe Lol! I will be back and order my same routine menu and maybe order a virgin drink....Not! read more

2.5 stars. Me and my kids have been here a couple times, and it's just very, very generic Mexican food. My daughter had something which resembled a rock in her rice on one trip. Staff was the only highlight, very friendly. read more

Great value! Eat for the price of fast food only much better! Authentic and family run. The salsa was rich and textured. The chips were a but dry and could be better. The enchiladas were fresh and covered with cheese sauce. The vegetables were pan fried and fresh. All in all, a perfect family restaurant! read more

My favorite Mexican place in my area! Their food is always great and fresh and the service is always fantastic! They have more authentic dishes here if that's what you're looking for and all the other favorites as well. read more

The atmosphere here is awesome! When you come here a couple of times you will notice the staff remembers you and always greet you with a smile. The food is excellent and always tastes great no matter what you order. Each meal or individual has its own taste and brings you to Mexico. I have been coming here since it's opened and am never disappointed. read more

Great & friendly service , Amazing food & fun atmosphere. One of Tipton Co's favorite gathering places to eat and hang out. Very family friendly. read more

Great staff. Great food. The atmosphere is family oriented. You'll see many of your friends there.

The food here is always awesome. Service is great and the margaritas are too. My favorite Mexican food in the area!

Lovely family owned restaurant with great service and delicious food. A must try you will not be disappointed.

Great food and fast service every time we go the only Mexican place I will eat in town!

Friendly staff. Great food and great atmosphere. Family favorite for local Mexican food.

These other reviews were misleading to me. I have tried true Mexican food and two small burritos with a mountain of lettuce and sour cream on top is not it. I was disappointed when the meat for the soup I wanted they didn't have. I usually start judging a restaurant by the horchata (Mexican drink) the drink was very thin and I've had better. This is not a true Mexican restaurant. read more

This place has the best food ever! I have been to all the mexican places around and this place is amazing. The people are lovely, the price is very good and the food is off the chain good! The Margarita's are pretty good too! Give them a try, you will NOT regret it! read more

Got our food to go as usual tonight. There didn't seem to be an ounce of queso cheese on any of the dishes and we got none of our sides( rice, beans etc). Not very happy. read more

Had lunch today and it was magnificent. They season perfectly and quite reasonable. The service was very good and quick. The guacamole mexicana was over the top. I had the fajita quesadilla and my don had the pork sandwich and he said the bread was terrific and the pork was seasoned perfectly. We will be back. read more

Unfortunately I have to downgrade this review from the last time I rated it. I revisited and had lunch with a good friend at this location and ordered the same salad I had on my first visit... I was very disappointed...it was supposed to be a taco "salad" of which it hardly had any lettuce or tomatoes, and didn't provide any cheddar cheese either. My friend was not pleased with her meal. I hope they regroup and provide the same quality of food and service as when they first opened. I will give them another try a few months or a year from now and see if they improve or not...to be continued. read more

I'm not trying to be rude by only putting a two stars but there is a good reason. The restaurant has in my opinion small portions. The two stuffed peppers where small and so were the burritos. I could compare this to Taco Bell. The al pastor I'm pretty sure wasn't al pastor in the burrito. This sure isn't real Mexican food. read more

pretty dang bad. my husband said his birria tacos were pure oil and had to dip his tacos in the salsa cause they were that bad and had zero flavor. the salsa tasted like marinara sauce. no flavor to the beans. we said "there's no way the staff eat this food.. there's not even salt in this" soooo gross. just oil and air is the flavor here. read more

In a very unassuming location. Have only been once for take away, but plan to go back as soon as I can afford the gas to go back (when Biden's been removed). read more

We found a gem of a place. The food, the people and the location are all great. I am a picky eater and found this place to be able to accommodate my cravings for mexican food without all the fluff. We have been several times and have never been disappointed. My favorite item is the Chimichanga with the mixed meats and covered in cheese sauce. I have not been disappointed with this at all. My husband likes to get the Chili Relleno, Torta or Buritto. The owners are super nice and helpful when trying to figure out what to eat. They have a few new items and since we have not heard of the meats before, they brought us a sample to try. OMG, they are opening us to enjoy new foods since they are so good. So glad that we found this place. If you have not tried this place you need to. read more

The food and service are great! Love the prices too! The owners have great servers and you get your good fast and it is always good!

I've said it once and I'll say it again this is NOT authentic Mexican food. Don't let them fool you. True Mexican food doesn't have piles of cheese and lettuce on the food which this food does. I know this is recommended and I'll save you the trip. The service is slow and they are out of several foods. read more

The food is not as tasty as the name suggests they make food for non Hispanics. No care is applied in cooking these plates.

It was better during the opening hours, food tasted fresh and recently cooked at lunch time. When we went a different day for dinner, the food tasted as if it was reheated, meat was dry, and service was slow. I definitely don't recommend the Chile rellenos. The batter and sauce are not what an authentic Mexican restaurant serves. read more

I had been wanting to try Los Alebrijes for some time , and I'm glad I did. This restaurant does not disappoint ! I was seated by Armando, who is terrific, and who willingly answered all of my questions about dishes that come from his familiy's home in Guadalajara. This is what separates Los Alebrijes from the rest. You will have the opportunity to order dishes that no other Mexican restaurant around here offers. We are used to Tex Mex in the states which is a fusion between Mexican and American cuisine. This is the real deal... authentic Mexican ... and it's delicious. If you haven't had the opportunity to try it, do so... you won't be sorry! read more
