I was very happy and satisfied with my experience. The wonderful aroma of ice cream hit my face as soon as I walked into the shop, and was greeted with smiles from the staff as well. After thinking it over, I decided to get the double scoop ice cream- one scoop of salted caramel and one scoop of non-dairy black cherry. It was amazing and incredible ice cream. It was extremely fresh and rich, and definitely hit the spot. The ambiance was beautiful and gorgeous, and had a very nice sitting area. The staff were wonderful and allowed you to try samples of the ice cream. Fundae's is a wonderful addition to the Village of West Clay and great for families to stop by for ice cream on a Friday night or the weekend. I will definitely be back here for ice cream if I am in the area again because it is a great hangout and a wonderful ambiance for relaxation.

The new location affords Scoop Shack a more appropriate space for their growing event/birthday business. It also offers them the chance to explore some additional opportunities with the space. Scoop Shack now also has a more "proper" outdoor area comprised of the space that used to be the drive-thru for the bank. Oh, and yes. The bank's safe area is still here. It's kind of a cool feature. There's also a play area for the kids. So, I knew I needed to revisit and update my review. There are two van-accessible parking spots out front. There's also one along the back for the outdoor section (there's a window where you can order without going inside). There's still a two-sided, double-door entry. It's about the only part of the whole experience that isn't super wheelchair friendly, though it's not bad. Both owners have a background in healthcare - so, the awareness of disability is pretty obvious - there's even a ramp to the back patio area. As this is a fairly recent move, the interior is still growing. There's a nice, comfy design to it. Prices are still reasonable. They still offer four and six flavor flights. Their ice cream comes from local fave Sundae's. There's a combination of half-booths and tables for seating. They've also added a handful of light food items (like hot dogs), though they're still keeping it simple. Scoop Shack does catering, parties, events, and more. They offer sundaes, shakes, ice cream nachos, walkabouts, chocogattos, a variety of hot/cold drinks, and some bottled/canned drinks. There are two unisex bathrooms - both are accessible. I've grown very fond of Scoop Shack. I think they started right around my first review in 2021 (not exactly an easy year to open up a new shop). The neighborhood has really embraced them. I definitely recommend a visit. While I loved the old space, this old space is definitely a great move for Scoop Shack.

In summary - good ice cream, interesting flavors, fair servings. Been back multiple times already in the past month! The coffee chip is done very well and my favorite so far. I do think flavors are rotated so I hope the coffee chip is a frequent flavor. If undecided between flavors or wanting to try two, gotta get the regular size. I cannot eat what's served as a regular sized ice cream these days and usually ask for smaller serving but dang i still got quite a lot! I wish I could get a single scoop with two flavors as that seems more appropriate serving for me. When I first smelled their waffle cone I did a double take and after taking a bite confirmed my suspicion. I won't ruin it for you and suggest you also give it a try! Lick does offer a couple vegan flavors for those with egg allergy but processes all flavors in house that has nuts and seeds. So for my littlest he's unable to try the ice cream when the vegan is also made with nuts so he instead begs for the waffle cone when we visit and content with that. Both boys started calling this the "really good ice cream shop". They're enjoyed playing with the rotary phone booth just outside. Service friendly. Not really experienced a wait. A couple of seats inside and a couple of tables outside. There is free parking in the lot.
