I've picked up cosmetics here when in town over the years. Yesterday I was greatly disappointed in…read morethe store, the female salesperson and the male manager. I've spent many years working retail and I fully understand chain stores. But, where I worked, if we as employees made a mistake with sale signage, they stood by the sign. Yesterday's sale the sign read 40% off most items. 50% off $100 or more. This particular rack that had its own sale sign was holiday Mac gift sets. I took several to the register that added up over $100 and was told they weren't on sale! What?! The sign is ON that fixture, it says 50% off... I was told they'll be on sale "soon" but not then. I said, "If the sign says 40% off most items" it shouldn't then only read "50% off $100 or more". My point is, I tried to politely explain my thoughts. I even showed them the exact item on sale online at a different company. I was treated extremely rudely, and trust me. To them all I really had to say was, "then move your completely misleading sign off the rack that has nothing on sale". This felt like a con, they get you to buy several items and not notice these items didn't get a discount. The reason I'm giving them 3 stars instead of 1, this is new management since my last visit. ALL previous visits have been great, with super helpful, happy friendly employees that made shopping fun!

I was…read morea first time patient, so I expected the doctor to come in and at least pretend to be nice; didn't happen. I am not from the Branson area, so to create conversation, I asked if she was from here. She was quick to answer, "Yes, born and raised, but I don't live here, I live in Texas. I come here once a month, but have no intention on staying here.". Wow. I don't know, I've been to plenty of physicians in my time, but this doctor has the worst bed side manner I've ever experienced. She is young, so perhaps she shouldn't be judged to critically. I just think she should stay in El Paso TX if she doesn't like coming to work in Branson, because her patients in Branson surely shouldn't have to experience the brunt of her attitude.

I like to stop in and search for some of my favorite designer fragrances from back in the day, the ones that aren't sold in the regular department store's anymore. I was shocked to discover this store would not accept my cash for payment for the items I selected…read morebecause of the COVID pandemic. I was told by the employee that they were unable to process my transaction using cash regardless if I had exact change. Well, although I did not agree with this policy as their precautions are not based on facts and provide no real protection to their customers, instead it just inconveniences those who do not want to use credit or plastic to pay for their purchases. It was actually a violation of my rights as a citizen as it is unconstitutional not to accept legal tender for purchases and using my debit card that day was an inconvenience as I had just withdrew cash to make my purchase prior to entering the store. I may not had been so agitated by this had the employee offered any apology for my inconvenience instead of looking at me as though I was wrong to even expect to use currency. I like the products offered at Bath & Body Works ... but the staff could use a lesson or two on friendliness and how to engage with their customers. Condescending attitudes do not entice me to want to shop there again.
