Support this small business! Awesome Italian and Philly Cheesesteak subs. Pizza looked delish on the other table

Pizza was almost inedible. I do not recommend if you're looking for good pizza. 60$ to go order and they gave us 1 dipping sauce. This place sucks. Anyone that says this place is good, is a damn fool, and never had good pizza before in their life. Great Granny Loretta would be disappointed! read more

While on vacation in Atlantic Beach, we decided to venture out to eat where the locals go. We stopped by Loretta's Pizza, which would easily be missed since the outdoor sign just says "Pizza". The welcoming handwritten sign about parking had us assured we were in the right place though. Having read Yelp reviews we figured there was going to be something for everyone here. They have a good variety of both cold and hot hoagies, as well as wings, pizza, and pasta dishes. We were pleasantly greeted upon entering and experienced great service. We were underwhelmed by the food, however. At 5:30pm we were the only diners inside, yet they had sold out of the chicken for the chicken parm hoagie. I was not impressed with the cheesesteak at all, and the pizza crust could not stand up to the toppings on the meatlover, most toppings just slid off the crust. That being said, the hoagies were loaded up with meat, they just lacked flavor/seasoning. The soda fountain had only 1 "diet" option, and the sweet tea was so sweet it tasted more like watered down honey with no tea flavor at all. I would have to rate this local eatery a 2.5 star, the food was just dissaponting , but the workers were super friendly and polite. Aside from some water dripping from the ceiling (condensation from AC vent), it was a very clean place. read more

The owner is from Philly. In my opinion, he should scrap the whole Italian idea, switch to philly. Worked the line for a matter of hours. Roaches everywhere. Not the kind left from after a smoke session. read more

I was born and raised in Philly and I'm what you could say a food critic about Cheesesteaks and you guys got it right for sure. The Amoroso rolls are the secret. Great food, love all the Philly memorabilia and especially the way you incorporated the "P" from the 80's Phillies in to the logo. Love that you have real Pennsylvania Birch Beer. We will come back for sure and recommend you all to everyone the needs to have a "real" Philly Cheesesteak. Fly Eagles Fly read more

We visited Loretta's based on the recommendation of Yelp and we were very happy with the service and especially the food at this pizza joint. We were looking forward to the eating the SAM pizza but realized that it takes 45 mins to created but instead went for the Supreme pizza which had 4 toppings in lieu of the "entire" toppings. My son had the cheese pizza and his friend had the pepperoni and they were both very happy with the quality of the pizza. We will come back before we leave to eat the SAM. read more

I ordered delivery to my hotel from here. They offered free delivery which was nice ( and it wasn't through a delivery service.). I ordered a pizza and an Italian sub. The man who answered the phone was very professional and knew his menu even though they seemed very busy. The pizza was delicious and their homemade ranch was sooo good. The italian sub was good but some meat on it was extremely spicy. I am inside of what it was because the names of the meats are the ones that are usually on an Italian sub. So, be warned if you order it. However, it was still very good. The onions were diced and you could tell the food was made with love. read more

I enjoy Loretta's, but I'm not able to go there anymore. They are never open for lunch. I live in Swansboro and have no reason to be eating lunch at 3:30 in the afternoon. This Yelp website has the hours for business from 11:00am till whatever... I haven't seen this store open at 11:00am for about a year. I hope they can stay in business with the loss of income with the lack of hours. I wanted them to expand like they originally bragged about doing. The location they have is not one of the best to generate business. Thanks and good luck Loretta's Pizza! read more

Stumbled upon this place while looking for something quick and reasonably priced while killing some time. I was thrilled to see all the Eagles memorabilia when we arrived. This was the absolute worst food I have ever eaten. Ordered Spaghetti and Meatballs and Chicken Parmesan. Came with a side salad and bread. How do you mess up this easy meal? Chicken was so salty you couldn't eat. Pasta, sauce and meatballs were so dry and just not good. Pasta was just old. Bread burnt and weird taste. The salad also had a weird taste. Looked like the inside of a lettuce head that you throw away. Very disappointing... threw it all away. Im sorry Brent. Hands on management may help. My family has always been in restaurants esp pizzerias Hands on in the only way to go. The girl answering the phone was clueless. And the salad was the bitter yellow that should be thrown out. This should be reevaluated, the food was not good. We literally threw it out. Need wuality c read more

Delicious. Walked in after a day at Cape Lookout (read:beach-exhausted) and walked out 20 min later with a massive custom pizza and garlic honey-something wings. Miraculously contained self while driving. DEVOURED when back at the hotel. Really really delicious. Keep it up, guys! read more

Great pizza....great thin crust, cooked just right...topped with quality ingredients. I especially took notice of the high quality cheese and pepperoni they are using. Loretta's is the best spot for pizza in Morehead City! The sauce is incredible; the cheese is flavorful and of high quality; and the crust is perfect. I adore their Stromboli too, as it contains the same sauce, cheese and crust. Their Philly is on point, and the bread they use comes from a bakery in Philly! They have a great affordable bottled beer selection. The business is locally owned and operated; it is located in Morehead Plaza between Bridges and Arendell near Lowes Food and Big Lots. You must try this place. read more

I read all of the reviews for this place and felt confident in ordering. We were staying less than a mile from their location so we thought that delivery would not be an issue. Our food arrived 40 minutes after ordering, not bad. The pizza looked appetizing. This is where the good things stopped. All of the pizzas were bland and barely warm. Toppings were sparse as well as well as cheese except for the ricotta on the white pizza. This was a bunch of white globs. All in all, a very disappointing experience. read more

Love this spot!! Being from Philly, it's hard to believe a "Philly Cheese steak" on a menu anywhere outside of the 215, let alone order it. Do. Yourself. A. Favor. And. Order. It. The roll is authentic and the meat is on point! The pizza is amazing as well- perfectly cooked, great dough to toppings ratio & great flavor. Last but not least the FRENCH FRIES. I like to consider myself a 'french fry snob' and these are some of the best I ever had. Great staff and service. I can't wait to get back there in August or September and eat at Loretta's again! read more

I rarely do reviews but I couldn't let you guys pass this place up. Everything is great however the cheesesteaks are to die for. Close your eyes and you'll swear you're sitting at a top tier Philly steak joint in downtown Philly. They also have a buffalo chicken cheesesteak that is nothing short of amazing. The chicken steak wasn't what I had expected, it's far better! Give these guys a try, you won't be disappointed! read more

Tried this place for the first time ever. Wow! A truly delicious place. We had the honey garlic wings and they were very good. The pizza is authentic NY style with a perfect crust and fresh ingredients. Don't pass up the opportunity to eat here. It may be a little hidden away, but like any treasure, it is worth hunting for. Service is personal, casual, welcoming and friendly. We will be going back tomorrow just to see if their philly is as legit as the pizza. read more

The best stromboli I've ever had- ever! Generous portions of everything including the mozzarella which oozes out perfectly! Dough is excellent & you get 2 toppings. These guys aren't kidding around.
