While on vacation in Atlantic Beach, we decided to venture out to eat where the locals go. We stopped by Loretta's Pizza, which would easily be missed since the outdoor sign just says "Pizza". The welcoming handwritten sign about parking had us assured we were in the right place though. Having read Yelp reviews we figured there was going to be something for everyone here. They have a good variety of both cold and hot hoagies, as well as wings, pizza, and pasta dishes. We were pleasantly greeted upon entering and experienced great service. We were underwhelmed by the food, however. At 5:30pm we were the only diners inside, yet they had sold out of the chicken for the chicken parm hoagie. I was not impressed with the cheesesteak at all, and the pizza crust could not stand up to the toppings on the meatlover, most toppings just slid off the crust. That being said, the hoagies were loaded up with meat, they just lacked flavor/seasoning. The soda fountain had only 1 "diet" option, and the sweet tea was so sweet it tasted more like watered down honey with no tea flavor at all. I would have to rate this local eatery a 2.5 star, the food was just dissaponting , but the workers were super friendly and polite. Aside from some water dripping from the ceiling (condensation from AC vent), it was a very clean place. read more

I ordered delivery to my hotel from here. They offered free delivery which was nice ( and it wasn't through a delivery service.). I ordered a pizza and an Italian sub. The man who answered the phone was very professional and knew his menu even though they seemed very busy. The pizza was delicious and their homemade ranch was sooo good. The italian sub was good but some meat on it was extremely spicy. I am inside of what it was because the names of the meats are the ones that are usually on an Italian sub. I enjoy Loretta's, but I'm not able to go there anymore. They are never open for lunch. I live in Swansboro and have no reason to be eating lunch at 3:30 in the afternoon. This Yelp website has the hours for business from 11:00am till whatever... I haven't seen this store open at 11:00am for about a year. I hope they can stay in business with the loss of income with the lack of hours. I wanted them to expand like they originally bragged about doing. We visited Loretta's based on the recommendation of Yelp and we were very happy with the service and especially the food at this pizza joint. We were looking forward to the eating the SAM pizza but realized that it takes 45 mins to created but instead went for the Supreme pizza which had 4 toppings in lieu of the "entire" toppings. My son had the cheese pizza and his friend had the pepperoni and they were both very happy with the quality of the pizza. We will come back before we leave to eat the SAM. read more

I read all of the reviews for this place and felt confident in ordering. We were staying less than a mile from their location so we thought that delivery would not be an issue. Our food arrived 40 minutes after ordering, not bad. The pizza looked appetizing. This is where the good things stopped. All of the pizzas were bland and barely warm.
