Right before you go in, just like any Lordco, blue and white.

Not easy to find one of these on the way home from where I live and then I saw this one on 2nd. I needed an air filter, and they checked the system the first time and didn't have one, said they would order it in if I wanted it the next day, I told them not to worry about it. I come back 2 weeks later and the guy who originally was helping me still remembered me, and I was lucky they had one... but as they said, they were surprised too that they didn't have one to begin with last time as it's one of those air filters that most cars use. They can also check their other stores to see how much stock they have instead of you making any wild goose chase. If your someone who likes to tinker with their own automobile and needs something, they probably have it, all after-market but they will also give you alternatives when you ask, and tell you what the difference is. If you can't find what your looking for the drill is to walk all the way to the back wall, there you will see a whole bunch of computer terminals and guys behind there, tell them what your looking for, they search their system if they have it, walk to the back to get the right part, bring it to you, send the invoice to the front of the store, pay, and your on your way. If your an automotive student, I know you get discounts. I like their hours, cause you never know when you do need something here, and business hours just don't do for myself when it comes to this kind of stuff. It's a do-it-yourself kind of thing, and here's where you start when it comes to automotive stuff... forget Canadian Tire.. come here. Especially if your close to downtown. Parking, there are a ton of spots in front of the store, no meter, all free.

Side entrance from parking lot~

Came here to buy some parts. Parking is available in the lot next door. However, the lot is sloped and uneven, and there is a good chance you'll scrap if your car is low. The store size is smaller than most other locations, which also means a smaller product selection. However, they had the generic tools I was looking for.

Lordco charged us $96.57 for an oil pressure sensor for a 2000 Ford F150 V-8 pickup. They would not even give us a credit!

Worst customer service. Rude and arrogant skinny young guy at counter. Do yourself a favour and go anywhere else.

I guess it is too much to expect locations to be open during their posted hours of operation...

Mount Pleasant

=== 1. VERDICT/VALUE Tough to recommend: wide product…read moreselection, good prices, but service may be challenging. === 2. PRODUCTS The saving grace of Napa: + wide selection of auto parts. + decent prices; better if you order online - 10% off. === 3. SERVICE The big challenge here: - somehow, an online order is shelved/put away after 10 days without pickup. I learned this during pickup on day 12. There was no warning other than the response from the attendant who helped me at the counter. - Alas, the same attendant made me feel like I was a criminal for coming in after the 10 day time limit had lapsed and created more work for him to look up the part, get it from the appropriate shelf in store, and reluctantly work through my request to match the 10% discount for my order (which I showed him a picture of on my phone). - As others have remarked: it seems like there are a lot of staff working...just not at the front. One client took up all of the time of the one attendant at the counter, leaving the rest of us to line up for a long time...as the other staff walked back and forth in front of us. Other tills were open, and the three other staff could see all of us, but retail customer service appears to be of less importance here. === 4. ENVIRONMENT The retail side of the operations is small; it looks likes an auto mechanic shop with the fluroescent lights above, shelves of car parts available, and darker colours (greasy looking perhaps) on the floors and walls. Not unpleasant, but certainly not modern and clean. Wheelchairs and baby strollers could fit in the aisles. Parking is relatively plentiful in the private just outside.

The employees here radiate a deep resentment for their jobs and their customers…read more Walking in, they heave a deep sigh that someone dares to pull them away from their Instagram. "Napa parts, can you hold?" *click* "Fuck it I'm not dealing with this anymore today" - Actual exchange overheard while in line. One employee at the counter, two others standing in the back glaring at customers challenging them to ask for help. I'll go to the junk yard to siphon motor oil and used filters out the wrecked cars before I buy anything here. They are one tiny step away from being a fairly entertaining sitcom. Other Napa locations seem to be fine. It's just this one.
