Does NOT stand by their work. Do yourself a favor and contact the other Johnson company in town…read more Sonya refused to have Mike come back to review and repair what they did and by that I mean what they didn't actuality fix and made worse... she made excuses for lazy, shotty workmanship and told me to call someone else. The issue was a clogged condensation drain pipe which Mike decided wasn't worth checking when he was here. He said it "looked" fine so he didn't think it was the problem and didn't want to mess with it. IT WAS THE PROBLEM!!! After doing more research this morning, even AI said that that is one of the main things that should be checked if the customer complains of mold/mildew smell. So, that overpriced service was a total waste of time and money! Please make sure you are calling the right Johnson company. I didn't realize I had the wrong one on my last service request and now I suspect this company is coming up on good reviews off another company's good service just because of the name. Sad!

We've used Black Sheep twice now for emergency repairs and both times they arrive within 30 minutes…read moreof our calls. The best part of them being a local company, they knew exactly where our shut off valve was after we mistakenly turned the one off we thought was ours because they did the work when the house was changed from well to sewer! To be fair, the neighbors is attached to our driveway so we didn't know ‍ They had major repairs done for us in no time at all without the "well we have to order the parts" other non local companies say. We highly recommend Black Sheep, they're our go to!

I had a very disappointing experience with this plumber. I was charged almost $8,000 to remove a…read morestandard bathtub, replace some underlying pipes, and install a basic (non-luxury) bathtub. I was told that a "standard" bathtub alone costs $1,700, and $2,600 for small-area tile work (approx. 6x4 sq. ft.), yet the final bill was extremely high for the scope of work performed. What concerns me most: No warranty was provided for the work. No itemized invoice was given, despite multiple requests. I specifically asked for an itemized invoice for tax purposes and never received one. For this price point, I expected transparency, documentation, and some type of workmanship guarantee. Unfortunately, none of that was provided.

In previous years we have had little to no issues with our water but since Hicks Maintenance has been contracted to maintain the system we have been without water on such a regular basis that to have water without issue is a rarity. I called them and they wanted pictures of the hose/water heater. I sent it to them and they asked for my card number. I gave it to them and they came and replaced my hose. Then they left in a big hurry without even giving me a receipt or anything to sign. I found out later why they left so quickly. AFTER THEY LEFT, MY HOT WATER NEVER CAME BACK ON. I called them the next day 5 times and left my number and they NEVER returned my calls. I called them several times after that and still no return call. I tried to contact the Better Business Bureau but there was no record of Lusk in Blythe. They aren't part of the BBB and it's obvious why. They rip people off. Finally they called and said they'd talk to the ones they sent over. I called them back and the owner said they never worked on my watwer heater. He said I stopped payment on my card (which I did several days later because they hadn't returned my calls and broke my water heater.) So yes, I did stop the payment later. It's going to cost me mush more now to fix my water heater than the $206 dollars they charged to replace a $5 hose. The kids he sent over that day said my hot water would be back on in 1/2 hour. I waited til the next day and it never came back. So after several days I stopped the payment because I knew they were ripping me off. Now the RUDE owner is saying I did something to my own hot water heater. I called them the NEXT DAY after they left. No receipt, nothing to sign, and then hiding from me. These guys are horrible and will cost you more than what they ripped you off with originally. They are the most EVIL human beings on the planet. I'm a disabled veteran. They have no morals or shame. THEY AREN'T PART OF THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU FOR A REASON. THEY DON"T WANT TO ANSWER TO THEM. DO NOT USE THEM!!
