I rarely step into the closet without shoes on so obviously did not realize this was going on. Drabeck & Hill sent Josh (I think that's his name) he was there within a very short period of time (we live semi-rural). Did a great job including flushing the tank for impurities--- so so thankful. The cost was very reasonable and I'm thankful they were so prompt. Took forever for the hot water to kick in but voila It's BACK! Highly recommend.

I requested assistance in troubleshooting a flame loss code on a tankless water heater. It was…read moreapparent pretty early that I knew more about these units than the employees who came out. One was in training and spent a majority of his time sitting outside on his phone. That aside, the primary tech stated they rarely work on these and I had suggested a few things to look for which he agreed was a good idea - almost as he was remembering some distant training he had. He used a service valve that filled the condensation pipe with water which presented a leak within the wall coming out under the drywall. Instead of connecting a hose or something to drain into a bucket he kept using it and causing more water to fill inside the wall. Eventually they had to call the manufacturer for support and they required a manometer to successfully troubleshoot, which the tech proceeded to call a "worthless piece of shit" and hung up because they were not equipped with these tools. They had to come back the next day after acquiring the tools which were ~$100. They proceeded to confirm the heat exchanger and gas valve needed replaced under warranty. The parts were sent to D&H directly while I awaited the quote... $2800 in labor to replace these parts. This was egregious and downright unacceptable. I refused the estimate and requested to pickup the parts myself which they would not provide me as the home owner. The option was to send them back to the manufacturer and I would have to request another warranty replacement. This meant a delay of over a week to send back and honestly felt like a hostage/punishment for refusing their estimate, call out another company, request the parts again and have them replaced. The manufacturer was very helpful in facilitating this but with numerous calls and emails by me to both in order to resolve this made this experience much worse than it had to be. Ultimately, went with McConnell plumbing which replaced the parts and repaired the leaking pipe for $650. They were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to provide a great experience. I won't ever to business with D&H after this and will ensure to tell friends and family who ask for recommendations to not to business with them either.

Our A/C went out the night before one of the hottest days of the year, with temperatures climbing over 100 degrees. He diagnosed the issue (bad capacitor) and our A/C up and running much faster than we expected. The repair was completed at a reasonable price, and the quality of the service was excellent. My son remembered when Vu had been out and really liked him so we tracked him down and gave him a call. We had new Daiken Heat and Air unit installed by Vu and his team this week. We initially weren't considering a Daiken unit but after reviewing four different estimates and meeting Vu we were sold. He was very genuine, knowledgeable and presented information on Daiken, the energy saving benefits and the excellent warranty. Price was more than competitive and was an excellent value. The team showed up, Adelfo, Manny and Sabastain and went to work. They were skilled and professional at their job and worked to get everything installed in one day. Vu came in and worked to support his team and troubleshoot if needed. They worked through the day and evening and didn't stop until everything was complete, including clean up that was better than how they found it. They ensured condensation drain, duct work, thermostat and unit was working before leaving. Warranty information was completed, submitted by Vu in our name, and emailed to us before he left that evening. Received follow up communication from Vu next day ensuring everything was working perfect. It's rare when we spend money on a large project that I'm 100% satisfied but I can honestly say that I am. Everything from start to finish has been a positive experience. No pressure at all! I'm excited to see how this unit performs. Great product, super quiet and efficient but more important Vu and his team were great, informative and helped us make the best decision for our home and situation. Actually, they went above and beyond what they had to do. I highly recommend Vu and his team if you have to replace or service a system.

He IS very accessible, returning calls and texts quickly - even now, whenever I have questions. You have a wonderful crew working for you. Everyone was on-time, friendly, efficient and aware of certain things I required when coming and going from the house. Namely, keeping certain doors closed at all times so the dog and/or the toddler wouldn't be able to sneak out and escape! My only suggestion would be to keep household objects covered with tarp or plastic during the whole job. Not just when there's sawing or 'messy work' going on. If it's a room where there will be a lot of foot traffic the floor cloth is good, but plastic over furniture etc would be a great help when it comes to us cleaning up afterwards. However, the guys did great given that I didn't insist things be covered more often. Yes, I would use Hill & Co. again.

Very disappointed with my experience with Hill & Company…read more I purchased my HVAC system and water heater from Hill & Company, and I have also had annual maintenance performed by the company. Because of that history, I trusted that these systems were being properly inspected and maintained. I am now selling my home, and the buyer's inspection identified several HVAC-related issues, including disconnected ductwork in the attic and concerns regarding the venting of the water heater and furnace. What is especially frustrating is that these issues were not identified during the annual maintenance visits. I am now dealing with repairs during the sale of my home and additional unexpected expenses. I contacted Hill & Company about the disconnected ductwork and was quoted $700 to repair it. Given that this is part of a system purchased from Hill & Company and maintained by them annually, I expected a much better explanation of how this condition was missed. I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the maintenance and the way this situation has been handled. When you pay a company to install and maintain your HVAC equipment year after year, you expect problems like these to be identified before they become an issue during a home sale. I hope Hill & Company takes this feedback seriously and reviews how their technicians are performing these annual inspections.
