took my 2006 SUV to Lopez Auto Service & Tire. It was giving off strong exhaust fumes, running rough and several other issues that I had ignored for a while. I was greeted by Ray who was very professional and patiently listened to all of my concerns. Ray said they would check it out thoroughly. What followed is what I believe makes this place an excellent choice. When we next spoke, not only was I shown what the problems were, (main issue was the exhaust manifold with a long crack (no wonder the fumes)) but I was provided with options without any pressure or fast-talk. We discussed in detail which were priorities and which could wait. The prices quoted were very reasonable, I made my choices and agreed to the work.. Kevin and Peter worked on my car. As the work progressed, I would receive texted explanations of the work being done, and pictures of parts removed and parts installed. I really appreciated that. They are very knowledgeable and did an excellent job, going beyond what I expected in terms of quality and efficiency. When I picked up my car, all the work done was reviewed with me, there were no surprises nor confusion. All upfront and honest work. When I drove away, I was extremely pleased with the performance, it actually drove like new! I am very happy with this experience and with everyone I communicated with. My colleague & I came here for the first time because this was the closest one from where she (my colleague) had a flat. We had to drive 0.8 miles at 2mph because we didn't want to ruin the rim or axle. It just so happened that this tire shop had a used tire (235/65/R17) that was in great shape the van needed AND it was only $40! Our tire guy, Raymond, was so nice and accommodating! Go somewhere where you're not lied to. I called with proof today at 232 and requested pricing for a new tire . I wasted my time , my tow etc to have my car towed to their facility only to tell me now after 30 Minutes later it's 120$ I told them they were absolutely wrong for lying , one of the guys refused to speak to me even though I showed him the call log that I spoke to him! I took my part to be changed, simple part & charged 80 dollars, probably not expensive, BUT we called back to tell him that on our way home the car was now making an even worse noise and not working and he had the audacity to say that to leave the car working fine he had to check deeper and charge more money? Amazing and fast service.... even for 545pm on a Friday night! Let me preface this by saying that I never do car related things by myself. Like NEVER. Usually wait til a weekend when I visit my parents and have my dad take care of it.... sadly, the near flat tire wouldn't last another day or two. When I pulled up to the shop, I pulled to the parking spots to the right, since I wasn't sure they were going to be able to help me so close to closing... someone came out instantly and said he would help, all I had to do was pull up in front. I ended up needing a new tire (which I got at a great deal), and everything was done within 10-15 minutes. Will definitely be back for any other tire needs, and recommend them to anyone in the area! read more

Looking for new wheels and tires for my vehicle on a Sunday and they outright refused to accept a credit card, even though they have credit card logos on the door claiming they accept them. Banks are closed on Sundays. Lost a customer, and received a poor review because you refuse to honor what you advertise on the window. Don't waste your time unless you're bringing all cash. I hit a huge pothole in the rain on Artesia trying to avoid morning traffic on the 91. Next time, I'll keep my behind on the freeway. The pothole made a huge hole on the side of my tire. I have a 2010 Mercedes E350. AAA came and placed my donut and I found Lopez on yelp. I got there around 8:30. He inspected my rim and said it wasn't damaged. He gave me a good used tire for $35. Of course, I tipped $5 to make it an even $40. They were fast and appreciate their low prices. They placed the spare back in its proper place unlike the AAA guy. I felt bad for the owners/attendants because I cried the whole time. I felt horrible for veering from my normal route, hitting that pothole hella hard, and my baby was in the car. I had the best experience with Lopez tire shop! I hit a divider on the 405 freeway and and messed up both tires on my passenger side, I had it towed to my nearest storage spot and called Lopez first thing in the morning, he quoted me some great options along with great prices, not only that but I had a hard time getting a tow truck to come and pick up my car because both tires and rims were damaged... HE CAME AND TOWED MY CAR FOR ONLY $50 bucks! Lopez didn't have my rim but found a tire shop that did, picked it up for me and still had my car done in less than an hour!!! I found a screw in my tire so I brought my car to Lopez Auto Tires. I was concerned because I have 20" Vossen wheels and didn't want them to get damaged. They informed me over the phone that they could plug the leak to avoid any concerns of damage to my wheel. When I arrived the owner told me that even though they would install a plug that they could also patch the leak and not damage my wheel because they take care of the customers property. They removed the wheel and found out that the screw didn't penetrate. They tested the leak with soapy water and then by submerging the tire under water. The best part was that they then checked my tire pressure on all my tires and didn't want to charge me anything. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that your next service will be free but this just goes to show you that this place isn't here to rip you off. I arrived during their lunch time and I was willing to come back but they said not to worry and the owner came out to help while his employees ate. Give this place a try.
