Late in the day we called Mr Lopes , he came did an assessment and planned to return the next day. He came did some digging (hard work), pumped our 1500 gallon tank (both sides) and then installed a riser and lid to make future access easier. I was impressed with his being able to address and preform the services needed on such short notice. He was reliable and affordable. His knowledge and experience helped me to better understand my responsibility in maintaining my septic tank. I appreciate his promptness and affordability. Best septic company in the valley. Super fast service, knowledgeable, reliable and willing to work with you. Mr. Lopes quickly diagnosed my septic problems, and there were multiple, proposed a fix and offered to help. He was even willing to work with me on the bill if the cost got to be more than I could afford all at once. He was funny and made me laugh when I wanted to cry over my septic. These rains this year really did a number on my septic but he got it all fixed and even put risers on my septic so it'll be easy to pump going forward without having to pay someone several hundred dollars to have to dig down to the lids. As always patient & helpful. A "tank" reality inspection is included with service. The sanitary T / baffles needed help in BOTH tanks cleaned, Both were replaced (with Johns help). Also the larger dual covers were pulled & placed so the original corroded, and broken pull handles could be replaced. - Recommended. Will call again, when it's time. read more

We had to have the septic tank pumped today, in order to replace some drain lines and I am so glad I put it off till the last minute. We ended up getting Lopes Septic Services from Hilmar, to come out and the guys were great. Good personality, easy going and very, very helpful. It would have been double from the other companies in the area. If you ever need septic service call him. Oh where do I even start with this whack job. We were selling our home and our agent was told Lopes would be the septic company pumping our septic for the sale of our home. The appointment was setup for a Saturday morning between 9 and 10. In order to avoid a $75 digging fee we dug and found and uncovered the septic cap for Lopes so it was nice and ready for them. We finished our digging and set our shovels against the wall of our home. We needed to do some errands so we left Friday night (The night before the appointment) we were gone for a few hours and came home, what we came home too is still so ridiculous I'm still having trouble believing how any business can stay in business pulling this kind of crap. Upon returning home Friday evening we let our 4 dogs into the backyard to do their business, when my wife opened the door she notices there is shovels stuck in the ground in the middle of the yard. She calls to me and has me go into the backyard to investigate. Turns out Lopes Septic decided to come by the night before the appointment when we were not at home jump over our LOCKED gates and start working in our backyard. Not only did they trespass on our property they removed the septic cap and left our septic tank open and exposed. OUR DOGS COULD OF FALLEN IN!!! Imagine if we had not known about this and let our 2 year old daughter go out in the yard to play. A small child could of fallen into our septic tank and drowned in it. Even better they didn't leave any sort of note or indication that they visited our home. After calling him, his excuse was that he thought our home was abandoned. REALLY??? There are childrens toys in the backyard, our porch lights were on, and I know my dogs were barking at the back door because they see a field mouse on the back patio and they all bark. How in the hell you figure my house is abandoned? Moving on to the appointment on Saturday morning my appointment time was 9 to 10 AM he showed up at my house at 8 AM ready for the appointment. This guy can't even follow his own appointment schedule, at this point I'm just over the entire situation, I let him finish the pumping and inspection just so I can be done with this nightmare. I would NEVER NEVER EVER recommend anyone using this whack job, in my opinion he shouldnt even be allowed to run a business when he openly puts a client in danger by such neglect. Had a problem with water not draining. Called Lopes and they squeezed me for the same day I called even though they were busy. Great guys, reasonable price and super service. Was really happy with their work and they even gave me some great tips and septic drainage and other ideas to keep everything flowing smoothly. John Lopes and Dennis are very accommodating and responsive. A side wall collapsed on our septic tank and a sinkhole opened up in the backyard. A lot of clay-dirt was fell into the tank. They got rid of all of the shit, and as much dirt/rocks as they could for $300. read more
