The store is my man den from heaven, and getting suited is a lot quicker and way more fun than I expected (at least if your not use to bespoke suits). Here was my process: 1. Measure and design a custom suit (see comments on this process below) 2. 12 days later suit arrived and a fitting took place where a few nuances got tailored (if needed) 3. 4-5 days later suit is ready for pick up/delivery I've spent way more money for suits that are half as nice, so the price point was another bonus for me, these things are affordable and excellent quality. The last and most crucial element is that these guys guide you, blending fashion and style with what you feel comfortable in, so you end up elevating your style and getting exposed to new options at your own pace... I've had a few things done now, a shark skin suit and a wedding outfit and both have been a topic of conversation. Latif

The pockets are still too deep, the pant legs ride up way to high when I sit down (lots of shin showing) and though I was told at the time of purchase that they offered "life time alterations" I was told today that what they meant was that they "only" charge what the tailor charges them for any work they do. I never should have accepted the suit - my bad! I cannot recommend this company.

My dearest Roberta,…read more I usually dote on small, cute stores like you, but sadly, you've been quite a disappointment. I've given you more than one chance, but upon each visit with you, I'm harshly reminded of why I said I'd never take you back. Sure, your prices are low, but your quality is pretty abysmal. Not to mention that you rarely seem up to date with the current styles. Remember that day, Roberta, when I was in a bind? I'd snagged the tights I was wearing and desperately needed your help. You offered me only two styles to choose from, both in a one size fits all style. Oh, Roberta, where to begin... I gave you my eight hard-earned dollars in exchange for your promising tights and was on my way. You almost redeemed yourself, but alas, I definitely got what I paid for. I put on your tights, and... how could you?? They had a giant hole in one of the knees. Thanks for nothing, Roberta. You will never see me again. Good riddance.

I have previously visited the place with my cousin last year when they flew in from NY to look for a tuxedo for their wedding. Her husband likes the tuxedo so much he still makes good use of it even after their wedding. I also introduced my little brother, a recent college graduate, to Groom Studio to find a nice custom suit for job interviews. He was also very happy with his purchase so I knew exactly where to come to find a new suit! Rik welcomed us and greeted us when we walked in. He showed us several options and colors to choose from in various price ranges. After trying on a couple suits, we decided to choose the slim fit suit in a charcoal gray color. Compared to other stores in DTLA, Groom Studio's prices are very affordable for the quality. Rik offers exceptional service to all of his customers, which makes the experience more enjoyable. The whole process was very quick and easy. I highly recommend Rik and Groom Studio for any suit/tuxedo needs.

My husband knew he didn't want a tux, but he didn't want to rent a cheap suit or blow our budget on a designer one either. After looking around for a bit, we found Groom Studio. From the very first phone call, Rik provided warm and outstanding customer service. Rik is the kind of guy who takes the time to listen to what you like, but uses his years of expertise to guide you towards what will look and feel the best. My husband is very tall, slim, and pale. Rik helped him choose a suit that flattered his figure and skin tone and made him look like ten. million. bucks. Seriously - I swooned when I saw him walk out of the fitting room! The best part is that my husband could easily wear the suit for other dressy occasions because it's so timeless. One of the coolest things about Groom Studio is the enormous selection of custom furnishings. From classic to bold to straight up funky, you can choose a tie or pocket square that fits your personality. We cannot recommend Groom Studio & Rik enough - he made part of our wedding planning fun and stress-free. We're looking forward to buying more suits from him in the future.
