The service at Malibu Clothes in Beverly Hills, was exceptional. Rick and Ian take the time to help find the best clothing selection for your needs..i.e. sports jacket, shirts, belts, slacks, etc. In their store you feel like family. The clothing styles are for all age groups. The value can't be beat. In todays world of mens clothing stores it is refreshing to find quality merchandise and quality service. Stan S read more

I have been going there for years and have taken a number of young men there to get suits for interviews and weddings. There's nowhere else I would shop for men's clothes. Their fabrics are fantastic and they have a great selection. Prices are fantastic. read more

It was my first experience with Malibu Clothes. It is so refreshing in this automated and impersonal world where everything is made in China to find a genuine family owned business with quality clothing at reasonable prices and great individual service. Father and son team Rick and Ian made me feel right at home and Ian found two great jackets for me at a good price. Highly recommend. read more

I was in town for an event and realized I had forgotten to pack a tie. This place is incredible. Yes, a broad selection and very reasonable prices. But also: the lost art of real service, rendered earnestly, and without judgement. The place is in its fourth generation of the same family, and I chatted with generation 3 and 4. 4 noticed my shirt was missing a collar stay and ran into the back to grab me one. He also watched me butcher the tying for a moment before kindly tying me up in a sharp half Windsor. These sort of experiences used to be the norm in retail. Now, we should all go out of our way to support their continued existence. Will return next time im in town. read more

I needed a quick alteration for my belt, and Malibu Clothes exceeded my expectations with their excellent work and outstanding service. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of tailoring. Thank you, Malibu Clothes! read more

Long time customer. Had not visited for many years. I am a second generation customer as my Dad would frequent in the 70's ! Place looks the same, very old building and relatively crusty senior aged staff. Though, they DO know their job and most importantly have GREAT fabric which results in solid quality Men's suits. i bought two suits, cost me a GRAND and another 100 bucks for alteration. The tailor on the third floor has some relationship. He does good work but he takes a while to complete. In the future i buy suits and tailor elsewhere... Moreover the shirt guy adjacent to tailor has many varieties of shirts too. Pricey and a a bit 70's looking.. Go to Brooks Brothers for those... I am lawyer with a need to wear suits on a weekly basis. Lots of compliments on my present threads.. Keep up the good work, Malibu... Hollwood Suits, Rogers Stuart, Macys et al, have nothing on you. Other than a personal tailor which will cost you a pricey penny, these fellows can make you look good. read more

I just moved back to California after a 16-year absence (and 40 years absent from L.A.) for a new job, and decided to celebrate by buying a new suit to wear on the first day at work. I remembered Malibu from the old days, when I was referred to it by a friend's father. Much to my pleasure, they were still there and going strong. Being a big guy, it's hard to find suits in my size, but Malibu had more than ten, and helped me pick one I'd look good in. Not only that, they tailored it in about 12 hours. The prices, as always, were incredible, and (to borrow a line from another review) I look like I'm wearing a Tom Ford suit. I can't thank them enough for a dynamite job and a great selection. You can't go wrong here. read more

We have been getting suits from Malibu since the 1960's. My father and uncles would go down for their suits yearly despite the fact that we lived in Northern California. My husband, who was raised in Southern California, would get his suits there with his father and grandfather! We bring our sons there to get their suits now-- so there have been four generations who have been suited up at Malibu on my husband's side and three generations on my side!!! We keep coming back because the product is great, the customer service is wonderful, and the value is terrific. Plus we enjoy the throw back atmosphere without any pretense. Any negative reviews must be from difficult - no nothing customers!!! Ignore them!! read more

Delighted with my most recent purchases (one suit, two blazers, two pairs of Italian wool slacks and four shirts) from this third-generation family business. I've shopped at Malibu for well over 30 years. The high quality clothing is an excellent value, service is superb (Alan), and so is the tailoring (Thomas). I'm sure Stan (of blessed memory) is smiling down on his son and grandsons. read more

Ian was the first and only recommendation from my wedding planner when it came to tuxedos for me and my best man. Starting with cost effective off the rack options, over three fittings we achieved looks that were comparable to custom tailoring. Ian knew the alterations that would be most flattering for different builds and offered good suggestions for finding accessories to complete the outfit. Weddings can get stressful and expensive but Ian was professional and responsive throughout and offers great value. I'll trust him with both formal and casual wear in the future. read more

I won't buy a suit anywhere else. Ian sold me my first suit for my new job, and a year later I came back and Alan sold me a black suit for formal occasions. They have everything in one spot: the suits, jackets, ties, pocket squares, and tailoring. The whole place is right out of early 60s mad men and is soaked in authenticity. The prices are less expensive than what you expect to pay for a Beverly Hills location like this. It's not men's warehouse type of prices but the quality of both of my suits is very high. I won't buy a suit anywhere else. read more

Unless you're rich enough to spend $3,000 on an Armani tuxedo, do yourself a favor and go see Ian at Malibu Clothes. Every suit and tux i've gotten from there has been: well constructed, made of nice fabric, and fairly priced. Five suits and tuxes in a row from there. read more

This place is a hidden gem. Very professional, great collections and well priced. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Already bought 4 suits here so far. read more

Took the beau here "just to look." He fell in love with the place. Came home nattier and happier.

My picky son was looking for a suit and I suggested trying this store. They had a wonderful selection and were most helpful. These people are not at all pushy. My son found the suit he wanted together with other clothing at a price he was happy with. I highly recommend this men's clothing store. read more

On September 16, I had to try and make the impossible possible. I had forty minutes to steam press six units for work. Small problem - I had no access to a steam press. I went on every dry clean store on Beverly Drive and found nothing. Nobody could even point me in a direction toward where I could potentially steam press an item. Twenty minutes left. I prayed for a sign. And I never pray. I prayed. Walking back from a dry clean store in defeat I saw in big letters mounted onto a building - Malibu Clothes. My eyes lit up. Well, it said clothes, right? They had to have something. I venture in, take the elevator to the third floor, and walk right in to a spacious well organized men's clothing mothership. I locate the desk and see Stan. Stan introduced himself right away. I explained to him my predicament. He walked me right to a back room, and there it was, a steam press! I quickly steamed my units and Stan even gave me hangers to hang them on. (They had been packaged in a box!!!) We talked about The Devil Wears Prada, social media content, how to ask the right kinds of questions, and he even gave me the cards of people he knows who can assist with women's tailoring and people I should know in the world of clothes. On September 16, I learned a couple things from Stan at Malibu Clothes. Here they are, in no particular order 1. Ask for help, never stop searching. 2. How to do a square fold. 3. Avoid steam pressing the edge of the thread as the seam will come undone. 4. Details, details, details. 5. Sometimes prayers really are answered read more

With less than 2 weeks before my wedding, I wasn't happy with the tux I had purchased months before... I reached out to Ian at Malibu, and they came thru in the clutch with an amazing tux that fit PERFECTLY!! They carry odd sizes, and 41R (which I now know is MY size) was the winning ticket. They were able to ship the tux along with swatches for accessories from LA to Fort Worth, TX in less than 48 hours, I tried it on, it fit, and that was it! These guys are top class professionals, and from here on out, I'll only buy my suits from Malibu Clothes. Seriously, don't waste your time with anyone else. read more

This is an old-fashioned men's store that's been in business forever. Top quality suits and dress clothes at almost-wholesale prices. Great service. And the affiliated (but technically independent) tailor is one of the best in Beverly Hills. I'm happy with the quality and fit of everything I've ever bought there. There's a reason these guys outfit lots of LA athletes and Hollywood celebs. (Their accessories department is nothing special. You'll find better selection and prices elsewhere. Stick to suits/slacks/jackets and you'll get a great deal for great merchandise.) read more

Stan's the man. We were in LA and had to get the hubby a tie for a special occasion happening that night. Not gonna lie, we didn't know what to expect when the guys on the 2nd floor told us to make our way to the 3rd. Mad Men-era is right. But we got exactly what we needed and honestly the white collared shirt we bought may be the nicest fitting and highest quality in years of high-end department store purchases. Not to mention, they pressed the shirt for us right then and there. Gentlemen, go here. And see Stan. read more

I have shopped here since the early 1980's. Many suits later I still find this store has the best quality and price as well as customer service. If you want a perfect fit and a huge selection this is the place to go. From the suits to accessories and a marvelous tailor on site you will not be disappointed..Pure professionalism from start to finish. read more

Ian has been a lifesaver, he has the best style and taste and you feel that when you go into the store. His advise on the cut of a particular suit or what jacket to choose or what is "in" these days has been priceless. Feel like i have a personal stylist every time i go into the shop! read more

Fantastic selection. Fantastic value. Fantastic service. Variety of family generations to make anybody at any age feel comfortable. I've shopped for suits at Neiman's, Barney's, Saks and none compare to the incredible experience at Malibu. The same suit at these department stores run at least 3x the price and you don't have the first class old world experience... You'll have at Malibu. Brings to mind a mini boutique Paul Stuart with discount prices. If anybody writes anything negatively...they've got to be impossible. Truly one of the greatest shopping experiences, my partner and I have ever had. Ian is the bomb!!! He outfitted my partner and I for our upcoming wedding and we look straight out of a Tom Ford ad. read more

Ask for Ian! He'll dress you to the T ! ! ! This is the best suit shop in Los Angeles!

Rick is the man!!! After reading various great reviews, I decided to give this store a shot to pick my wedding suit. I was amazed by the various suit selections. What really did it for me was the amazing customer service that was provided by Rick. Very patient as I tried numerous suits and always gave me his honest opinion, which led me to make the perfect choice for my wedding. read more

Don't know why this place does not have a review yet, but I will leave the first one. You can simply find all fashionable and chic name brand suits, sport coats, tuxedos and slacks. this prices are subjective, I found it expensive, but I guess for the Beverly Hills typical customer it must be cheap. Definitely worth's to check it out, the selection is huge. I would give it a 5, but I found the pricing a little unreasonable at my range. read more

I've been a customer since 1969. I don't believe that there is another men clothing store within 50 miles of Beverly Hills that could compete with Malibu for selection, price, or service. that's why I keep going back read more

Malibu Clothes absolutely knocks it out of the park with their selection, value, and stylist team. I was in desperate need of a new suit (or two) and wandered into their store to find a staff that had the highest level of professionalism and knowledge. I never felt pressured to buy anything or that I was being up-sold, and they helped me try on numerous suit options to find the cut that fit perfectly. Since I'm taller I'm picky about how my clothes fit, and Ian and Thomas were very accommodating in making certain that I was 100% satisfied with the way everything fit. I walked in on Thursday and the very next day the suits had already been tailored to my liking. I walked away with two very versatile suit that I am extremely happy with. Rick and Ian in the storefront and Thomas in tailoring know how to operate a business with class, without a doubt I will be returning my business to the team at Malibu Clothes. read more

really enjoyed this staple!! stocking and inventory turnover are excellent

Malibu Clothes gets 5 stars in almost every review. And justifiably so. This is the greatest place to buy men's clothing in all of Southern California. Forget Men's Wearhouse, etc. Such places may have Low prices, but their goods are cheap and lousy. Malibu is excellent on all counts. I happily give it a five star rating read more

Excellent personal service and excellent suits. Went for the first time July 30, 2016. Was greeted as soon as I walked in, even though they were helping another customer. Father and son team work together and provided a wonderful buying experience. Worked with the father and was shown many options and he had an exstensive knowledge of how a suit should fit. Suites are Italian wool and needed adjustments. He took me upstairs to Gino's, the tailor they work with and I felt he provided excellent adjustment advice. Haven't picked up the suits yet but will add more on that part later. Not overly expensive but not cheap either. You get what you pay for, as they say. Expect to pay mid $400's, on sale, and up. Got two suits worth about $1500 each for less than $500 each. read more
