Good cinema experience, this cinema is in the Tyson Mall at the Tyson Corner and is quite swanky. Has several auditoriums, all with reclining seats; have the facility of ordering from within the cinema hall (a server takes food and beverage orders before the movie begins). Lots of variety of dining, lots of sitting place to hang around pre-post the movie. Also has Tuesday deals on movie tickets. Would recommend to try the place.

Movie theatre and seats are great but after watching Gladiator II for 2.5 hours, our food NEVER arrived. We ordered when we arrived and the system told us the food would be delivered to our seats. After 30 mins into the movie, my date left the movie to go check on our orders only to be told that "if your food doesn't come, you can get a refund after the movie." Wait, WHAT? How does this happen? Why does your system allow people to order? The bad part? We are in line with 25-30 others who faced the same issue. Insane. Do better.

I definitely see why they try to have everyone order and be able to bring the food before the movie starts. Other than that the setting is great. My only complaint today was the female restrooms. All of the stalls had toilet tissue just sitting in the toilets. I did tell two people who worked there so hopefully they took care of it but in my opinion they should always have someone checking the restrooms.

Before the Michael movie began, my husband and I ordered popcorn, two milkshakes, and a meal for him (I believe it included skewers). Our total was over $70. My husband waited about 25 minutes for his meal before going to the counter to ask about it. He was told they were understaffed and returned to our seats. After another 25 minutes, the food still had not arrived. He went back to the counter, and they refunded only the meal he never received. In my opinion, the entire order should have been refunded because the delay significantly impacted our movie experience. My husband spent much of the beginning of the movie waiting and expecting his food, and ultimately had nothing to eat except popcorn. The bathrooms were also not well maintained. Multiple toilets were clogged and would not flush, leaving them filled with urine and toilet paper. The sinks were surrounded by water and strands of hair. In the family restroom, the toilet was continuously flushing, smelled strongly of urine, and the toilet seat was covered in dirt or some kind of buildup. I love the comfortable seats, but the poor service and lack of cleanliness made me hesitant to return. If I am paying premium prices for both dining and a movie, I expect timely service and clean facilities.

I recognize that the Magic Duel takes huge pride in 5 star reviews on Yelp, which I deeply respect. But I did wish that we had seen the show in a different venue. I am no stage expert, but lights and sound do matter a lot in delivery of a magic show for a skeptic like me, going because the significant other loves magic shows. With better lighting, things would have been more "magical" (thinking bottles.) I was also surprised that a bubble artist, as good as she was in her profession, was considered a magician. After some quick research, you will end up at Magic Duel in this genre, so please go to Dupont or Georgetown.

This was my second time here over a year ago and I did the previous Deadwood, which is filled with zombies and other strange creatures. The graphics are crisp and pretty realistic, to get you hopping around, panting, and sweating. Just like any video game you move from a new level to the next level, which comes with a change of scenery. We went from a creepy lab, a meatpacking conveyor belt, to boots on the ground fighting in a zombie war zone! So much fun with many more surprises and features I'll let you discover for yourself. I felt it was long enough towards the end, I start hoping the goblins would stop coming. Perfect amount of time. They give you a keepsake video which is edited with everyone's gamer names, a recap of the scores, highlights, and who your team's MVP is! Great for bragging and talking ish over dinner after the game is over. It is pricey about $65 per person, but it's not something you'll do every weekend. It truly is a unique experience, because this is the only chain in the DMV. The staff is polite and do a great job of explaining the rules and how to wear the equipment. Definitely arrive 15 minutes early, especially if you've never played the game before. I will definitely comeback for a 3rd experience, the more people for the spooky Deadwood Phobia, the better!

I didn't read anything about LUZIA, but the show actually exceeded my expectations! This intimate performance transported us to a surreal and an imaginary Mexico, inspired by the country's rich culture. We really enjoyed the acrobats, the amazing contortionist artist, the hoop diving, the hand-balancing act, the Russian swings, the speed juggling, the impressive footwork with the football, and the dancing with the hoops (which I loved!). I absolutely enjoyed their soundtrack, so definitely getting their album! Our seats were the best, as we had a wonderful view of the overall stage. You don't get let in until half an hour before the start of the show, but there are concessions, bars, gift shops, and a small gallery to check out while you wait. What a great way to spend a Thursday evening - thank you so much! +amazing performances! +wonderful soundtrack!

This was probably close to my 10th Cirque Du Soleil show but first since the pandemic. For those…read morewho still care, masks were almost non-existant but there were a few in the crowd and employees. As another reviewer said, it's fairly easy to park at the mall and walk. If you park at Tyson's Corner Center (Tyson's 1, not the closer Tyson's 2/Galleria) IMO it is not obvious how to cross the street from the mall, so it took a bit of exploring. Another reviewers hint to look for the metro and use the bridge was solid (paired with logical keep to sidewalks). So first the "bad": * I think this was the first Cirque show I've seen where I saw mistakes. Ironically, given another reviewer praise, it was with the ring events. * I also think this was the first Cirque show I've been to where there were noticable 'cleanup' crew on stage that were not "in character" part of the show (besides between acts). * Finally, there was a lot going on at times with this show. My SO said that is not atypical but acknowledged sometimes it seemed like there were 2 acts going on at once (in addition to the always small things to look at). To their credit this does give some rewatch value for whoever can afford that. * Occasionally spotlights were in my eyes. This might have been seating but I suspect all but the middle or maybe far corners would have been affected at some point. More informational than bad, besides those spotlights, because the stage rotates I didn't really feel like the more expensive seats were worth it. I think being in the nosebleed seats likely would have been fine as long as you don't care about close up costume detail or maybe some crowd interaction. Maybe not the far right and left. I will add the online ticket/seat picking map makes the place look a lot bigger than it is. Aside from all that, the performances were solid and the music was stellar. SO said it was nice things were bilingual (spanish english) vs the "normal" French. Maybe it has been because it's been a number of years, but things to me felt fresh and new. Before the pandemic SO and I were mulling how Cirque shows were feeling a bit stale. If you disagree with me and don't find this fresh, my advice is take some time off and come back, maybe that's what it was. Maybe it was our seats but of all the Cirque I've been to, it felt like the actors on stage were smiling and nodding specifically at me vs in general. I also really appreciated the "freeze" scenes because I know that takes a ton of strength and almost every single performer was doing it. As far as the water add, I disagree with another reviewer. IMO anything you can do without water, is more difficult with water and was well executed and fun to watch. The masks and puppetry (in addition to normal costumes) was all good. One "comedy" in between acts did involve having a large ball tossed around the audience which I felt was an accident waiting to happen. Luckily it never came our way. I also cannot say I remember noticing so many repeat performers before. It wasn't stale but I do wonder if they shrunk their crew. Last notable thing for me was there were a lot of people taking video or flash camera and security was on them pretty fast which I appreciated. The light is very distracting in an otherwise pretty dark performance area, probably also for performers safety. As for the timing of the show, the doors opened 30m before showtime. This was not stated on the tickets like the general area or concessions were. There was one "25 minute" intermission. We did not leave our seating area during that time. Unlike other reviews said, there were no metal detectors nor were our bags searched. We could have brought in outside food if we wanted. I am not sure if that was because the show was ending soon and they were over it. Your milage may vary. Bathrooms (pre-show) were the typical tight flushable portopotties...think airplane bathroom. My door was kind of questionable and I thought I might get locked in but I didn't :P My toilet also did not flush maybe it was in disorder. I thought I heard through a wall "is there no soap?" but I tried not to listen too hard :P Water was 6.50 but came in a metal (probably reusable) container. There was free water (and small plastic cups) which I had not seen before. In case it matters it was a Thursday show.
