Went to Lonnie's shop to buy a part for our zero turn lawnmower. Lonnie's had the part but I was surprised at the cost. Needed the part so got it. It kept bugging me how much it was, so I looked up the exact part and same numbers on line, $15.99, I paid $72.00 at Lonnie's!! Don't go here! I dropped my push mower off and they said they would call with a diagnosis if it was worth fixing or replacing. Two weeks later, I hadn't heard anything so I called to politely inquire, and was told they hadn't even looked at it yet due to a back-up of machines.... so when I said I would come pick it up that day to take it somewhere else, I was told they would only release it to me for a $25 "early pick-up" fee for the time they had already spent on it. WHAT??? Don't go here. Poor communication, poor customer service, and poor policies. read more

Your "Certified Honda guys" made a rookie error and WAY overfilled the oil on the Honda EU 2000 that they "repaired" a couple of weeks ago. Oil was coming out of the breather and the inside chassis was covered in oil. Had it been run, it could have blown the engine seals. Had to have it serviced AGAIN at my "Certified Honda guys" to clean up the mess. read more

I brought it generator in because after I used it it sat in my garage with same gas for a couple of years. Yes, I neglected to stabilize or drain it but, I walked in and was distracted because of my own personal reasons. I walked up to the counter and told the counter person what I needed. She said leave it outside the door and gave me a claim check and said they'd call with an estimate. They called and quoted me $60 less than I paid for it. I said that was a lot and couldn't do it. She immediately said that one owe an $80 diagnosis fee. I said no one toldmeof an $80 fee. I can see springing a $40 fee but not pre warning of an $80 fee? So I called back and spoke to Lonnie. Lonnie said that it's posted all over that there's an $80 diagnosis fee and that it's my fault for not seeing it. I asked why he doesn't have his employees mention the fee at the time of drop off? He said because he's not required to. State law only requires him to post it. So I mentioned that it's horrible that he knowingly deceives his customers. He said if you don't see the posts, it's your fault. Then he asked me, do you want the generator back or not? I ask if he planned on holding it hostage for $80 ? He said yes. So I said I'd rather spend the money filing a civil claim in court. He replied "good luck with that" read more

I brought my tractor here to get repaired. It sat for 6 weeks until I came to pick it up, and the guy didn't even work on it. He left it out in the rain, leaving a water stain on the seat, and then continued to charge me $25 for a storage fee when it was never even looked at to begin with. I then decided to take it elsewhere, and received no apology or anything. I do not recommend if you expect speedy repairs, and by speedy i mean within 6 weeks lol. read more

The guy at Lonnie's small engine repair treated me more rudely than any business that I've ever encountered in my life. He didn't want to even talk about my mower issue, he just kept accusing me of using the wrong gas, which I did not do. He obviously didn't want my business, because when I asked him if he could fix my mower, he just kept lecturing me about gas. Finally I told him to forget it, because I didn't need a lecture from the likes of him, and he continued to babble about gas, until I got into my car. The dude is nuts! I'm a pretty big guy, so I wasn't worried about him, but I think that some potential customers might have been justifiably frightened by his behavior. Even if I had used the wrong gas, or done something to my mower, what does he care? I was trying to give him some business. I've never written a review for anything, in my life, but I hate the thought of anyone trying to do business, with this loon. read more
