Most of these gyms are the same footprint. Same machines. Same quality. Friendly folks. This gym is infact that. I have the program through your insurance that gives you access to 15k+ gyms for 25 bucks a month. It is very much worth it if you travel or just want gym variety in your own town. What I really like about this gym is the footprint. Everything has plenty of space around it. Most if not all the machines were maintained. Didn't smell, and everything you want for in a nice gym. If I'm back in town, y'all will see me again.

Took my money, then refused to let me use the gym, then refused to refund my money…read more I'm only in Longview a few days a month, so I was interested in purchasing a day pass. ($16.24). I offered cash and was told they didn't take cash. I would have to use a card. I did. They charged my card then gave me their policy to review and sign. I thought they wanted to much personal information, especially for just a day pass. plus they wanted me to sign saying "I have reviewed and agree to terms of service " but would not provide the terms for me to read. The young person got a very rude and condescending, so I opted not to use their facilities. Then I was told they will not refund my card. How is that not theft. I talked to 4 different people, including a so called manager. Same result. Tried to contact corporate using the internet, but that was a dead end. Tried to obtain the regional manager's information and they refused to gI've it, claiming that was private information. Not sure how giving your regional or corporate contact information is private. So to sum this up, They require your money before having you agree to the rules but will not let you read the rules, also require way to much personal information just to lift heavy objects, I assume to sale to fell scammers. And if you don't agree or actually want to read the terms you can't get your money back. TOTAL THIEVES

I am disappointed in the Planet Fitness franchise and this location in particular…read more They allow "their" personal trainer to hold machines for a scheduled class from 12:00 (noon) to 12:30 p.m. When I was there on this day between 11:00 and 11:15 a.m. said trainer had the "reserved" sign up and there was no class nor participants. I ignored the sign but then decided to ask the staff for clarification. I know how to substitute exercises for the machines I supposedly can't use, but this is a VERY POOR CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE. I have been a Planet Fitness member for a few years and have always been an advocate of the franchise. I will no longer be a proud member of the franchise and will never give a positive "word of mouth" for it.
