He has participated in different programs they offer, such as Leadership and Tournament Team. He is really enjoying the new Skillz classes! When he started, we had just moved here and didn't know many people so he was shy. Now, he walks in to the gym and feels completely at home there. He has made friends that share his passion and they are all so supportive of each other. The instructors encourage them to continue to improve and push them to be their best! My daughter is 4 and she started at 3 in the Kinder Kicks-Leadership Lions class. She recently started the Little Dragons program and looks forward to her class days! I've attended class here for over 2 years and I'm getting better and better-no black belt yet. I've heard several parents talk about how good it has been for their child's focus, especially those kids with ADHD. I know what Black B is talking about; there are several young or young looking kids with black belts. However, these kids perform at that level and have been training for years. The real test is how well students do at tournaments with unbiased judges; they do quite well and students from Matt Bares United hold their own in tournament sparring and in forms. It's a wonderful school and I see myself going there for years to come!
