This longs is located at Waianae Mall, I'm sure the Waianae community is grateful to have this Longs, saves a trip from driving in to Kapolei. My observation, nice, clean, fully stocked on merchandise, and YES. I noticed that most of the items are locked up in the cabinets including toiletries, shampoo, deodorant, detergent, and even can foods! (reminds me of shopping at a store in San Fran) I would say it may take longer than your usual shopping trip if you need these products and to get assistant. There's is a nice selections of fruit, veggies here, more than at other Longs store, nice orchid plants, and bakery items of sweet bread & mochi. For this visit I just needed some alcohol, snacks, toothbrush for our next staycation, so it was a quick stop and ended up with plums and packs of udon noods too ( in store special 2/$1) Only 2 cashiers working, line got long quick but it moved pretty fast. No self check out at this location. "Make Longs a part or your day", as I did just that over here, hehe!!

I love checking out what new merchandise they have in store, especially the new tumblers. I also love the Dollar Spot and usually make a point to stop there first because you never know what little finds you're going to come across. Another thing I really appreciate is having access to the bathrooms right near the entrance. It's convenient, especially when you're just getting in or getting ready to shop. The one area I wish could be maintained a little better is the bathroom. Walking in and seeing trash all over the floor can be pretty unsightly and honestly takes away from the overall experience. I think having an employee designated to check the bathroom every 30 minutes or so could make a big difference in keeping it clean and welcoming. Overall, I really enjoy this Target and the little things that make shopping here enjoyable. I just think keeping the bathroom cleaner would help make the experience even better!

What I didn't expect was for the appointment times to be disregarded and chaos in the CVS. I arrived early to the pharmacy. No check in, just a long line about 11 people strong. Of course mom stood in line (which had her waiting in the shampoo section aisles over.) her name was announced softly and by the time she made it up front the clerk just took the next person waiting! I ended up getting about five of them plus a drink and still spent under $20, which honestly feels unheard of these days. One day the poke was overly salty, while another day it was lacking in salt. On a positive note, the papaya and pineapple were good. Also, buy fresh ogo seaweed in the back near the fish department to add to the poke. Also, the kalua pork burrito was just meh.

The place that we love to shop for all necessities is here at Long's, which is now owned by CVS hence the biz name here on Yelp but here in Hawai'i it will always be known as Long's. A place to stock up on the various wants and needs of our daily needs are found here through the weekly Sunday ads keeping it cost friendly for generations along with shopping for gifts and celebrations are found here and being miles away from town I'm sure is the place for many locals shop. Parking here is amazing in comparison from the general Haleiwa location is never gonna be a problem lots of free parking regardless the size of your car and though the roof seemed to be suffering from the recently downpour of rain hoping it all can get fixed so that we can continue to appreciate the staff and what it has to offer this community. A few weeks ago, I needed antibiotics and my Dr called them in (I do not currently have insurance) so my Dr kindly gives me the least out-of-pocket-cost. Upon arrival to pick up and pay for my Rx, I saw the total printed and proceeded to grab the $ from my wallet and pay. Before she would let me, the pharmacist on call saw that I didn't have insurance, and said she wanted to attempt to get me even further savings (very kind and nice!). I waited for over 20 minutes with my kids in the car thinking it would be in and out. However, they weren't able to get the cost lower, and in fact, instead the cost went up (for the same Rx). She printed out that receipt and told me the (now more) cost...I asked if I could pay the original and was told no. I had already waited so long for nothing, I had no more energy in me to try to argue...so I figured I'd leave this review and also, will try to never have to use this pharmacy again sad cause it's close.

I have narcolepsy & I depend on a specific brand so that I am able to keep my job in Behavioral Health & Sciences. The staff here are friendly, and they go above and beyond to order what I need every month. (Walmart, Longs and Costco don't do this anymore). Its not an easy prescription to deal with, so I appreciate the pharmacist and all the pharm techs for doing their job, being consistent & being genuine. It goes a long way. I appreciate you. They don't have all of the extras, like alcohol and supplies like Longs but as a pharmacy, they are much better. Faster fill time and much more friendly and genuine. You don't feel like some peg in a giant corporate wheel.

While I wait I can shop at Target, which usually takes me a while anyways! I have gotten multiple vaccinations here and the pharmacists here are really gentle informative understanding and most of all efficient!! I as well as everyone in my family of all ages picks up medication here. I pick up for my parents and husbands here and I absolutely love it cus if I have to wait then I can just do my target shopping. Hours are supper convenient as well. They are good about keep tracking of not giving you any medication that's conflicting. For example I went to pick up birth control but they had a recent record of antibiotics, before releasing me the medicine the pharmacist talked to me to update what medication I was still taking. They pay attention to the little things like that, which is why I love coming here!! All of the staff is phenomenal, helpful and truly carry the aloha spirit!! They close at 1:30 to 2 PM for lunch. So I decided to do some shopping, to pass for 30 minutes I had to wait. Now that I'm thinking of it is not so bad to go to one place to get the things you need and pick up your prescription all in one place. They opened probably at 2 PM and I was obviously the first one in line. I got my things and left. But Clark was super friendly and it wasn't simple and easy transaction.
