Honestly one of the most frustrating resale stores I've been to. They barely seem to look through items before rejecting them, yet somehow the racks are full of the same styles they claim they "can't take." The whole process feels really inconsistent and unfair. Customer service is also pretty bad. Employees seem stressed, management looks disorganized, and the overall vibe of the store just feels negative. It's not a welcoming place to shop or sell. There are way better resale stores around that actually treat customers with respect and are transparent about what they accept. I wouldn't waste my time here again.

Her selection of clothing and other merchandise for sale in her shop were very well chosen (timeless, classics, vintage, hip, trendy etc), on her part. Mimi was a class act! The new owner can be somewhat rude at times. And the selection of clothes and items are not so hot anymore. She is kind of greedy. My experiences with her have not been so great. And the new owner moved and where she moved is awful....hardy any parking spaces and everything is packed so tight, it's hard to shop. The new shop is extremely smaller in size and the set up of the store in general was unorganized. Merchandise was clump together tightly packed, doesn't flow and it just seemed cluttered and some merchandise not easily accessible at all. The new owner should not have moved, BIG BUSINESS MISTAKE. I think she hurt herself by moving. So many people I have chatted with are very disappointed by her move as well and how she treats people poorly. Mimi had a great successful popular shop and the location was perfect. Wished new owner didn't make so many changes. If the wheel wasn't broken why fix it or make so many unnecessary changes. This is the second shop for this new owner. Her first boutique failed and it use to be right next store to Mimi's. After her first boutique failed, her and Mimi worked out things where she (the new owner) would take over and be the new owner at Mimi's. Some changes were fine. I get the new owner wanted to eventually change the name of the shop and make some changes, but moving was a big mistake. I have had excellent luck getting my eye glasses at Costco. They seem to just get it right. The cost compared to the typical smaller opticians is exceptional. That is the reason why I renewed my membership, Picking up my new glasses today, just 5 days after ordering them I like shopping at Costco. Great prices overall. Purchased a BJ's membership, but visited once and that was it. Prices are not as good and it's a depressing store in Leominster. What was not so impressive at Costco in W. Springfield was the chaos at the customer service counter. They use a poor system for routing customers waiting to speak with customer help, routing them across the throng of shoppers entering the store with shopping carts. Bad, bad, bad workflow. Apparently, the store is being redesigned, but who knows when that will happen. Hoping they get approval to site a new Costco at a little used mall in Leominster. Much closer to me.

I'm not sure if my brother looked scruffy or if the policy actually has changed in Massachusetts Costco's, but this time they would not accept my credit card over the phone. Given that I live in Chicago and he does not have the money to buy it on his own, Costco just lost a vision customer. But I also will stop shopping there as well. This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of. It does not apply to any of the nine Costco's within my driving distance in Chicago. Massachusetts is so special.
