I stayed in Laredo for two days on a business trip, and when I searched Google for a steak restaurant with good reviews around the hotel, I found LongHorn Steakhouse, so I visited there for dinner. The menu showed the 20oz Outlaw Ribeye Steak as a recommended menu item, so I ordered that steak. I thought it would be a lot because it was 20oz, but when I actually had it, it was a size that was just right for an adult male to eat alone. As expected from the recommended menu item, the taste of the steak was really great. So I had the same steak for dinner two days in a row. lol Next time I go on a business trip to Laredo, I will eat the same steak at LongHorn Steakhouse again. read more

I'm sorry but food was horrible! Steak was burned from outside and raw from inside! We asked for medium well. Also they served ice with our drinks. There was a boil water alert in Laredo but they told us ice was from out of town! We all got sick! My sister ended up in the hospital!! This is probably my place to go when I visit Lardeo. I like the NY Strip or the Ribeye with a side of mashed potatoes and the brussell sprouts. The beer is cold and the servers at the bar (thats where I usually sit) are always attentive. This place has the best bang for the buck as opposed to the other "ritzy" places all the pompous locals go to. The burger is always a good choice. All this place needs are some good wings. read more

The service was really good. Our server was attentive without being overbearing, got our orders quickly and was on top of refills. My problem was with the food. Our appetizer which was the stuffed Jalapenos were delicious. My husband thought the jalapeno needed to be cooked more, it was too green for his liking. I didn't mind so much that the Stuff Jalapenos had a crunch to them. My big problem was my meal was so bland. I ordered the Steakhouse Burger that included a salad, soup or Chili. This place so far is pretty incredible. It's a 5/5 for all national steakhouse chains and a clear winner for the best steak in Laredo, TX. Yes it's that good and reminds me of steakhouses I've been to in Austin. It's a bit pricey which you come to expect from this chain but there is great energy and all waiters seem VERY engaged and sincere! That to a customer means a lot. Also the bread they start you off with is amazing. Why the missing 1 star? I hated they fried their lobster in their Mac n cheese. They ought to take note from Lolita's in town who makes the best lobster Mac n cheese. And Mac was oily. But other than that my parties food was on the spot. The bone in rib eye here is amazing!!!!! Waitress noticed before I said anything and took it back again. 3rd time she brought the steak back she said the manager has paid for the steak. Still not quite medium but better than rare. My server was wonderful. I certainly understand Covid and have been really good to patronize businesses. But tonight I went to this restaurant and the filet I wanted / they were out of. I try to eat a filet as it's the healthiest cut of meat. I dont eat a lot of beef- and the 6 oz is my preference. However, they were out of this. However, they had the larger portion. Granted , I didn't want the larger portion, but I did want the filet cut. I asked my server if the manager would allow the larger at the same price since they were out of the 6 oz. Not only did he deny the request, he didn't even come out to explain. He put it on his server. First of all, I'm in Laredo on business and I have a fixed expense account, secondly , it was not my fault they were out of it , and finally / he should've had the customer service skills to be the one to deliver the message, rather than putting it on his sweet server. A couple of collegues and I stopped by for a quick lunch. The hostess was a little slow in greeting us but it was the lunch hour. This a small but quiet restaurant perfect for a working lunch. We received our food in a timely manner. The qaulity and portions were good. They have a small bar perfect for a quiet drink for travelling business people staying at hotels that are within walking distance. I was impressed with the decor. To our surprise we were paid a visit by Joe the managing partner. He was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. On the other hand our young apparently new server , dropped the ball. When I asked about a combo plate with ribs and steak, she simply said it was on the dinner menu, and failed to show self- initiative in bringing me the dinner menu or at least asking me if I wished to view it.
