Great service, nice food, great ribs, and the outlaw ribeye is an excellent cut. Mellow ambience. The prices are very reasonable.

If you're…read morea foodie, there is better, but for NJ cuisine, it's standard for "high end" What was disappointing to me was: the fact that I was there enjoying a nice steak dinner with colleagues, and I was saving half of my steak for my husband to take home. It had a side of roasted elephant garlic, which my husband absolutely loves, so I couldn't NOT save it for him.But the thing is, they took it away without asking me if I wanted to pack it or not. And I brought this up, not once, not twice but -- 3 times-- with the wait staff. When I asked one of the waiters what the manager said, He replied " I'm not going to lie, I don't remember" Before I left, I asked my server if I could speak to the manager-- The manager finally met with me. He said that he was "trying to find you to give you my card" because "he did hear about the incident and he feels really bad." Mind you, even after I spoke to the first person about this incident, we were there for close to another 30 minutes (at least). Sitting at our table, having dessert and drinks . No one came back to address the situation, no one offered to make another plate of food for my husband to make up for the food they accidentally threw away. He offered his card, but I declined because I will not be going back. Honestly, poor service and optics for a high-end restaurant, at best. If you're used to high-end haute cuisine and have an eclectic palette, I'd skip this restaurant. If you want "the usual" nice-enough restaurant with good with a decent-enough ambience-- this is a good-enough place. For me, a place like that-- with "standard fare" cuisine, should have above average service. That's where they fell short.

Last weekend my wife and I decided to visit the Howell location. I guess lightening doesn't strike twice, sadly. We used the app to reserve our space and notified the hostess upon arriving. We were offered bar seating along with a free app. Things were looking good. We were greeted immediately by a busy bar tender who was super nice. We ordered our drinks and were asked what type of free app we'd like. We opted for the boneless chicken wings. Then for entrees my wife and I both ordered sirloins, i opted for the combo with ribs, she got the steak by itself. We both asked for them to be cooked medium. Her steak was grey (well-done) mine was perfect. I cut mine in 1/2 and gave it to her. I ate a piece of my steak which was very nice. Then i cut into my ribs which turned out to be the driest ribs i've ever eaten. I literally had to grab my drink out of fear of choking (I'm not exaggerating). I've heard too many stories as to why you never send food back, so we opted to hold onto what we had. Sitting next to us was an older couple. They both ordered steak, the lady returned her steak as it was overcooked as well. By the time they brought her a new steak, her husbands steak was cold. They complained and were given a gift card to return with. After our Lancaster experience we were beyond excited to try TRH again only to have the wind knocked from our sails.

The location is a little further than we would normally travel, but it was worth it. I loved all the farm to table foods they have. They even nicely promote all the partners they use right on the wall of the restaurant, so you know where all your food comes from. Everyone loved their meals! I had the Thai chicken sandwich and it was so flavorful and delicious. It came with a side and I picked baked sweet potato wedges that were really good and so memorable that a week later I am still thinking about them. Other dishes ordered were the chicken salad and strawberry salad which my friends both enjoyed. Our server was very good and didn't rush us as we were just chatting up a storm. The restaurant suggests reservations which are a good idea, especially for dinner. I will definitely be back and can't wait to put Harvest on my restaurant rotation. So when we needed a dinner location in the Brick, I figured we would try this location. Upon my early arrival, I was seated in the west facing room with ample natural light. I perused the menu while waiting for my friends. To my delight, this place is MUCH larger than Manahawkin. There are at least three rooms. Regardless, by the time we left, it was very busy. reservations are highly recommended. When my friends arrived, our waitress reviewed the menu additions. We decided on the oysters, octopus, arugula salad and the cod special. Everything was excellent. Service and pace were perfect. Plates promptly cleared, bread replentished. Last night my family & I popped in for dinner at Luisa's after taking the kids to Climb Zone in Howell. Sal, the owner, took care of us & could not have been nicer. Kids had pizza & fried calamari which were both very good, but he made my wife & I grilled octupus & a sea bass that were both literally incredible. Very fresh, cooked perfectly and very reasonably priced. Highly reccomend and will absolutely go out of our way to come back to this place.

As soon as we pulled into the parking lot , we can see through the windows and so I'm sitting in the car , none of the employees have their masks on, the guy is eating behind the counter and licking his fingers , next to another guy who is making a pizza ,which is such a turn off for me , I didn't even want to get my food but because I had ordered it online it was already paid. Therefore sanitary I would give that a 0 since that's a big Disgust in the food industry , at least eat on the side not in the kitchen area where food is being prepared. When I went to eat the pizza my blue cheese that I got in the side was hot and gross from sitting on top of the pizza oven but whatever I wasn't gonna stress over that as my main concern was my pizza didn't even look fully cooked as the cheese wasn't fully melted in the center but yet the crust was hard. As for the flavor it could of tasted better , it tasted kinda blan for a buffalo chicken pizza, I was super disappointed especially since I've been looking forward to it for some time now. Especially since it costed $21 which is a lot of money for a pizza. I will not recommend coming here for any specialty pizza that's for sure. I would not come back to disappointing :/

There was never a shortage of grilled meats, with staff constantly rotating through and taking a glance at your table to see if you're ready for the next skewer of goodness that they had. All the meat was seasoned wonderfully and were cooked well, with rare and well options. Our favorites: skirt steak (it was so tender and flavorful), picanha, chicken wrapped in bacon (was so smokey & juicy) and finally, the grilled pineapple. You definitely need to stay until you had a taste of that! My one complaint would be that the salad bar/hot buffet dishes weren't changed out nearly enough, but with all the staff working on the meat orders you can't be that upset with that. They did have some great options on the buffet line, my favorite being the chimichurri that paired wonderfully with the steaks. This is such a great option for when you don't want the commercialized chain feel of Fogo de Chao.

I was a bit disappointed being a foody, and most of all a carnivore that likes garlic.

Nice cocktail, wine, and beer selection. Calamari appetizer (sadly forgot to take a photo) was perfect for sharing amongst 2-4 people. Tender bites (rings and tentacles - I prefer) with a perfectly light, crispy coating. Tasty. Both the scallops & risotto were honestly some of the best I've ever had (and I order this often at seafood joints). Sweet meat, large size, crisped atop. The risotto was creamy and very flavorful (subtle white wine) with mushrooms and spinach throughout. The salmon piece that I tasted was very soft and fresh. My party seemed satisfied. Although I've had better crème brûlée, no real complaints. Nice crispy torched top. Texture was a little thicker than I like and the chill needed to come down to room temp more. It was pretty vacant prime time on a Saturday night, so I really hope things turn around. This area of NJ is severely lacking fine dining, so this spot is much needed. There are dining specials and DJs set up on select nights. Place does bring in an older crowd (makes sense for the area). Ample parking available. Come have a time or two!
