They performed deck work at my home, and the entire process was slow, unprofessional, and poorly managed. During the project, their material supplier sent a certified lien notice to my home because this company failed to pay their bills on time. They also left a large, fully loaded trailer on my property for weeks because their dumping account was unpaid and frozen--completely unacceptable and disruptive. As the job was nearing completion, instead of resolving their internal issues professionally, they began aggressively demanding funds and filed a lien without providing proper notice. To make matters worse, the owner's son retaliated by posting negative reviews on my professional business page, which crossed a serious ethical line. This company demonstrated poor financial management, lack of professionalism, and retaliatory behavior. If you value clear communication, timely work, and ethical business practices, I strongly recommend proceeding with extreme caution--or choosing another contractor entirely.

Roofing costs have really climbed in price post-Covid so don't be too floored by the prices you're…read morequoted! They all use either Owens-Corning or Malarkey shingles and they're both excellent. I settled upon Boss Exteriors after getting several bids. Theirs was in between the highest and lowest bids I received and the estimator, Eric knew his stuff and wasn't too pushy. Boss hired sub-contractors (kind of a surprise to me - my friend had Boss employees do his roof) who did a complete tear off and re-roofing in a day and a half. The next day, Andrew, a rep from Boss came out to do a final inspection of the work. Everything was tip-top, however there ended up being some roofing/roofers' garbage (paper, plastic, water bottles, cardboard) in my attic, which I discovered a couple of weeks later. Ultimately, I had to pay $2,400 extra after the roofer discovered two additional layers of roofing underneath my shingles (I was surprised that it wasn't discovered during the bidding process but, oh well!). Overall, however, the price and quality (along with a good warranty) were decent and I would recommend them.

When they finished the job, I could see only very tiny moss on my roof, but it was very very small. That's what sold me on them. You get immediate results after the cleaning rather than having to wait on the moss inhibitor powder from kicking months down the road. Having said that their prices were in line with 3 of 4 quotes I had gotten and I was able to call someone on the phone and ask several questions that they did a great job answering. The only issue I had was that they had to come back to my house two more times to get the job done right. The first time they had a miscommunication with my gutters that was stated in my quote but wasn't done, so they came back and did it. I managed to catch them where they weren't that far away. The second time, was because I requested it because they missed washing a gutter and the ends of my gutter on my dormer were not quite clean. I took pics and sent it to them for proof. They did call me back the next day and apologized and had someone come over in the afternoon to clean the missed gutters and double check all gutters. They did clean all the debris quite well, in fact it looked better than when they started. I really appreciated that. Roof looks great, gutters look great and I'm satisfied, however I was told I would get before and after pics and it's been a few days so far and I have not gotten any pics. I would use them again but definitely recommend double checking their work to make sure nothing was missed.
