This company made numerous mistakes on our project. We told them that we would pay once all…read morecorrections were completed; however, David, the Operations Manager, began threatening us with placing a lien on our home. We paid the full amount, but afterward there were continued problems with completing the work and repairs, along with additional damage caused during the project. We paid $47,000 for a large-scale job, yet they continued to make errors on a daily basis while attempting to conceal them from us. One of the most alarming examples was that they installed Window! flashing across the entire roof. (David's Idea!). I can't even count how many times I had to clean nails out of the street and garden, as well as oil stains from the driveway and street, after they left. One of the workers was pulled into the gutter machine right in front of my eyes. Thankfully, another worker managed to shut the machine off in time. The workers from this company are vulgar and aggressive. They reacted aggressively when I asked them not to damage my property, because they destroyed many things during the project. I was only able to learn the truth from the security cameras because they lied to me when I asked what had happened. The owner of the company did not respond to the aggressive behavior of the workers, even though we informed him about it many times. The company owner should ensure that workers have access to proper restroom facilities. At the beginning of the project, there were none, and one of the workers relieved himself in my yard--in plain view of me!

From the initial bidding process with Nels, I learned more about roof care, maintenance, installation, and science than from any other roofing company. Cascade wasn't the cheapest, but they also weren't the most expensive. Quite frankly, my bid was a couple thousand cheaper than I thought it would be. Nels was honest, forthright, and probably told me more than a salesman should. But I like that...it's called trust. I was comfortable with Nels. Cascade does all work with salaried employees...not subbed out like other roofers. This means the guys on the job have careers, not jobs, and they act like it. No cussing, no loud music, no slacking off. Everybody was on time, and the crew worked their butts off like no skilled craftsmen I'd ever seen before. Contractors get a bad rap, but these guys came through. Clearly they ate Wheaties for breakfast, because these guys worked like champions. I heard a great deal of laughter throughout the day, showing that the workers all have a strong rapport with each other. My roof went on in one day. That's right, a contractor on site at my home for ONE DAY. They cleaned up the work site, and I was left with a great looking home. Oh, and here's a nice perk....I get to pay for a portion of the job with a credit card...with no surcharge...and earn some airline miles! Now, if I could only find a fencing conrtractor as reliable as Cascade Roofing!

After getting quotes from a number of roofers, Mike Cooper and his crew at CC&L was our clear choice. Our job was run by Marty and he and his team took such extreme care and did a great job. They were so awesome that we were actually sad to see them go when the job was complete. We were so happy we also used them a few years later to put new siding on our house! Fast forward 20 years and we needed a couple of tiles replaced from storm damage. The gentleman who answered the phone said we were the first job he worked on 20 years ago. Mike and Marty are still there and if that's not a sign of a great company with that kind of continuity I don't know what it is. Competitive pricing, great quality and wonderful people. I hired them to replace some siding…read more No communication at all. I had no idea when they were going show up. They would say morning and 4 hours later show up. After the work finally was completed there were issues. Part was a lack of communication, part my fault for not being 100% clear, part theirs. But then found that they damaged my new gutters with the ladder and roof that was only 5 weeks old. Now having to fight to get all repaired. My Roof and Gutters are new so under warranty and can only be repaired by the installed companies to keep the warranty intact. Which is very fare and reasonable. DK Exteriors insist they can "Fix it". But this would be at there discretion and their way. Not covered by the warranty. This company is terrible, Low quality work, Poor communication left a mess that i had to clean up and still not one apology for anything. They don't accept responsibility for their work. IF this gets resolved soon, i'll update all reviews.
