This place just charges me for labor, but the fishy thing about them is, every time I go back, they seem to be charging me $1 more than the last time.... :-\ It started at $12, and now it's gone to $15. I can't find any place real close to me that cheaper, so keep going back, and the staff is nice and it's just an oil change for goodness sake. However, once, I did make the mistake of taking my car there on a more serious matter. I had just bought a used Altima straight from the owner, and they had my car over night, they ran a bunch of diagnostics on it, and they "guessed" it was the sort of crank shaft sensor... so I paid Univ. Auto $65 for their diagnostic fee, and I ended up taking it to Nissan of Sterling Heights to actually get the part replaced. Lo and behold, replacing the crank sensor did nothing and my car was still out cold and my wallet was out cold $100! So I went back to Univ. Auto and made them give me a refund on account of their bad diagnosis, which they didn't really argue. All in all this place is good if you want simple things done to your car, but I would take your car to the dealership for a more serious matter.

This place has been pretty good to me, because I was knowledgeable about the problem going into the…read moreshop. The first time I went in was due to my exhaust tail pipe rusting off, right near the flange. The workers gave me a quote of $60-$70 to replace the flange and gasket. Overall, pretty reasonable. The second time I went in, I knew I needed to change my brakes because I was hearing squealing from the back tires, and the front tires started making a grinding sound. I bought the material which included brake pads for the front and back, as well as rotors from autozone.Talking to the owner, Frank, this saved me about $30. He told me typically he charges for people bringing in their own material, but only charged me $12.72 for rags, lubes and whatever, l, which was I wasn't too pleased to hear. The total came out to about $172 for two hours and the random material charge. Since they rotated my tires and checked my suspension, as well, I let it slide. Overall, I think this place is fair, but you should still do your homework and ask for a quote before they do the work.

They consistently do thorough, reliable work and always explain what's needed in plain language. Best of all, their pricing has been very fair every time I've been there. It's not easy finding a mechanic you can trust these days, but this shop has earned my confidence. Highly recommended!

My first time working with Kerner's. Big Thanks to Kyle and the team there for making my car (and…read moreme) happy again! I asked them to perform an alignment on my Mazda this week after I replaced the suspension components myself a couple months ago. In doing so I had screwed up the alignment enough that I thought it would spin out without warning! They were a bit reluctant obviously because I had done the work (and I was reluctant to ask them) but they were able to find and correct the error to make my car drive straight and true again. Once they were able to get around to my car, they did an inspection and found a washer that I'd installed in the wrong place! :-D They were then able to realign the wheels relatively quickly and easily. And the cost was slightly less than other places I'd surveyed. (I was worried they might lose money on this job.) I no longer fear my car will spin out from misalignment. And now I can get new tires without worrying about chewing them up! They gave me the before-and-after numbers, so if the tire place tries to say I need an alignment, I can just wave that at them. :-D Really hope I get to work with Kerner's in the future. Shops and technicians like these need our support, patronage, and trust. Services: Vehicle Inspection, Wheel alignment Price assessment: Great price

I did a lot of research about Nash before choosing them to do a complete pre-purchase inspection of a used Lexus. While the BBB'S "A+" rating is a good thing, I know from experience that there are many "A+" businesses that have had complaints filed with the BBB. What impressed me is that the business has been on file with the BBB for many years and that there have been NO COMPLAINTS on record against Nash's Auto. This, plus very favorable reviews here on Yelp and on Google led me to choose this company. While other shops could not get us in right away for the prepurchase inspection, Kyle had us in and out the next morning. The evaluation was very comprehensive in the inspection. I was impressed with how thorough they were in checking over everything needed to convince us that the car was truely as good as we hoped it was. I would recommend Nash's Auto based on this experience and would gladly use them again when there is the opportunity to do so.

After the work was done there was still a misfire, and Devon took the time to figure it out and called me in to show me a damaged lifter and cam. They were extremely thorough and fair. On top of that, Devon took pictures during the work to show me how clean and neat everything was. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants quality work done.
