Hush puppies were hard as a brick. Chicken was rubber. Could not eat most of the meal. No mayonnaise for chicken either.

Walking into the place it looks a bit disheveled but I'm always down for some character. Let's start with the positive: Place has a pretty extensive menu. That's it. Hands down one of the dirtiest places I've walked into in ages (well over 25 years). I'm totally down for a hole in the wall greasy spoon but this place is GROSS. The walls all are dusty, the area behind the register, counter floor to ceiling looks like a horror movie. Greasy dust bunnies everywhere like honestly think that's what's holding this place together. Everything is sticky and just nasty. The wires behind the hanging TV by the AC has 2inches of cakes on greasy dust. Grime and dust everywhere. Every floor corner, every inch of this place is nasty and falling apart. I've never written a bad review because I know the impact they leave on local businesses. I also worked in food for a long time and know the challenges first hand. I've also walked into some questionable places all over the county but this place should really get closed down and cleaned from floor to ceiling. Cmon guys you're servicing the public clean the mice shit off the window ledges or close down. Nasty Nasty Nasty. That's only what we (the public) can see imagine what the freezers and kitchen looks like. I paid for the pizza which was meh at best and left offended. Not another red cent.

It is a bar so expect mostly bar food, but their service is always quick and attentive. I like their cheesesteak egg rolls and chicken wings the best. During holiday season they have seasonal drinks. Somehow they manage to make it feel both healthy and a little decadent. We also love the flatbreads and deserts, and the chicken sandwich and burgers have been great as well - really can't miss. The only thing really missing is a few more solid vegetarian protein options - it would be wonderful to be able to get a grilled tofu steak on that Asian Quinoa Salad. Service is fantastic - you enter from the patio side (steps up front and ramp along back of the patio). These guys are well and professionally staffed and we've always been met and seated quickly. All of our servers have been knowledgeable and helpful in making selections. They have regular tables, high tops, bar seating and outdoor tables. There are dedicated water bowls for anyone who brings a pup (outdoors only) and the dogs I've seen have been well behaved and adorable. We've never brought our dog, but he's still greeted and admired by staff as we pass by on a walk. That really says all you need to know about the wonderful people. Parking is in the lot right out front surrounding the small High Street courtyard or on the street. The dining patio overlooks that same courtyard. All in all a great combination of good food and a nice but casual atmosphere.

It was cool how they had seating at the bar and it's right by the kitchen. Our service was good. Very prompt and polite. Our friends ordered the calamari app and bread. Which the bread does run $4 but so worth it! So fluffy and freshly made. We all ate something seafood related. I definitely thought bigger than my belly. I had the fried fish sandwich with cheddar cheese on brioche bread. Comes with 2 sides: picked the garlic & buttered spinach and a baked potato. The sandwich did have a side of what tasted like their own house made tartar sauce. One of our guests split a cobb salad and another one ordered fish n chips that they all enjoyed.

We got the lobster rolls with butter, and my partner got fries, which were also tasty. He commented that he would have wanted it more stuffed with lobster meat, but to me it was a good ratio of meat to butter toasted roll.
