We don't get this in Cali!! What truly made this visit stand out was the EXCELLENT customer service from Daniella. From the moment i ordered, she was kind, attentive, and went above and beyond. We were cold and tired, and she graciously brought our food out to the car because we were enjoying our moment of rest and under estimated the food completion time! That meant so much to us! It's rare to find both great food and genuine, thoughtful service, but this location delivered on both. Thank you, Daniella, for your kindness and care, we will definitely be back! (tomorrow lol).

We took a trip during the week after someone recommended…read moreit and I'm not sure we'll be back for anything other than the drinks, the plantains and the sautéed crab appetizer. The coconut curry shrimp lacked the depth and really any flavor you'd expect for something curried, the jerk wings lacked that quintessential smoke flavor and smell and at opening when we went they said we're out of rice and peas and substituted it for overcooked jasmine rice and the pineapple upside down cake was also unavailable. Again, maybe a place for appetizers and drinks only.

To get to the restaurant, you take the elevator down to the lower level where the bar and dining area look great, but my party and I chose to sit outside by the fence to enjoy the beautiful marina views. I definitely recommend eating outside if the weather allows--it makes the experience even better. Our waitress (I believe her name was Malina--apologies if I got that wrong) was excellent and really added to the evening. As for the food, I ordered the Marina Burger and highly recommend it--it was juicy, flavorful, and topped with just the right amount of cheese. One of the best burgers I've had in a while. My lady had the Buffalo shrimp and loved it, while my daughter enjoyed her sushi. On top of that, they offer a really fun selection of drinks to choose from. Overall, great service, great food, and an unbeatable atmosphere by the marina. Perfect way to celebrate!

What more could you ask for? Our group was treated by Mallory, the head of Brickhouse's kitchen, with the newest addition to their wings menu: Bang Bang Bang Wings. They were delicious. While advertised as hot, the triple bang best describes the flavor. Vibrant and savory with just enough heat you can feel. Totally safe for those that fear wings with too much heat. We also tried the "Jale-mango" wings. These were pretty mild as far as heat, but full of sweet mango-ey flavor. A great pepper/fruit combo with the glaze sauce. To wash the wings down, I enjoyed a pint of "Don't Fear the Reaper" by local brewery 18th Street. Definitely worth a visit.
