The chicken was over fried and the fries were cold. The hush puppies, shrimp and fish were good.

We got there at 10:30 they open at 10:30. We knew it was going to be fresh. The fish of course was delicious. The coconut shrimp on the other hand tasted like sun tan lotion. The service was not great the manager looked tired and bored I know it was early but when your a manager you have to set an example. They served me double what I ordered so I knew it was not her day. I came to Long John Silver's with my mother on 11/25/17 after my doctor visit. I am not a fan of their food due to it being very greasy. My mom ordered two family meals and since this one has an A & W she got 4 double bacon cheese burgers. I ordered for my mom since I was the driver and the woman who took our order was so nice and went out of her way to help us by providing us options. When we pulled up to pay, she ask us what kind of sauce we would like and made sure we were happy with the amounts. She informed us that there will be a wait due to the chicken and fish is being cooked fresh and ask us to park in the front. We thanked her and found the closest parking. We waited a good 20 minutes and she walked our food over and explained to us what was in each bag. They even threw in extra hush puppies too. We went home and I am Notorious for saying "No thank you I don't want any" and seeing everyone eat the food along with the smell makes me want some. So I had a chicken and fish piece with a few hush puppies. Each item was extremely greasy but sooooooooo good. I had my grease limits for the day. It was good made me full and satisfied :) read more

Went through the drive-through today ordered a 10 piece family meal all chicken paid with my debit card when I got home there was no receipt in the bag and the 10 piece chicken meal that I had ordered only came with four pieces of chicken and five pieces of fish. Well the count is off because it's only nine pieces of whatever in there but what if someone in my family had fish allergies? That would create a huge problem. Recommend that you check your order even if it's through the drive-through. But I want the situation corrected I'm not gonna drive 6 miles back to the store just to get the correct meal when I don't have to. read more

Ordered the biggest meal has chicken fish coleslaw french fries generally barely kind of fit in the box. This is the second time this is happened after ordering that I have added two more pieces of fish six more shrimp because I do not like the french fries they are disgusting. So what they did is jammed everything into one box I really couldn't even check to see if the order was correct. And then you have employees they wanna mouth off back to you. Just came here at lunch, it was about 1230pm and my husband had mentioned it so I felt the need to stop and get some too. First sign of a bad experience was that it was lunch time and NO ONE was at the counter to help people. I waited for a good 5 minutes (no joke... I should have left but felt like I was committed) for someone to see I was there and acknowledge me. Fine, it was one mistake. But then I noticed that my food came really fast, which is not bad. However, when I got in my car to grab a tasty fry and found that I was greeted by a cold fry. Thinking it was a fluke, I tried again.... next one was cold and tasted like it had been there a while. Now I know they have been open for a couple hours and by the line in the drive thru, they should have had fresh fries and did not. The hushpuppy, which I normally love, was still a little doughy and the saving grace was that my chicken, that I love so much, tasted somewhat fresh. Hopefully this was a fluke but something tells me that it is not so much. read more

Oh my...when we walked into this place, the stench of it almost made me sick to my stomach right off the bat. Plus we had to wait at the counter without one word being said to us for entirely too long... Horrible horrible service!! The wait in the DRIVE THRU is absolutely unacceptable! The staff is NOT pleasant!! I mean this restaurant has closed most locations throughout town already, why wouldn't you try harder at the only one left! I just don't understand how hard your job is! No apologies for the wait...no visible reason like other customers also in line...no attempt at compensation for my time (soda, dessert, etc) just to get all the way back home to find you didn't even accurately complete my order!!! I would've called the restaurant but it's pretty apparent that nobody there cares! At this point I'd just like to warn the public! Beware... there is no pep in this places step. This food by no means will be served anywhere near what could be considered fast. They might as well remove the drive thru option completely. read more

The root beer is hella good! Let's start with that. I came here after realizing I haven't had long john silvers since I was in elementary school. I will just leave this in the past. I waited in the drive thru for awhile, there were 3 cars ahead of me. I got the chicken and fish combo plate it had 1 fosh 1 chicken 2 hushpuppies and fries. Everything was just soggy and greasy. It wasn't because of the car ride home. I ate a piece of chicken while driving home and it was warm, not hot or even close to being hot. Hushpuppies, I could see them being good if they were fresh. And I also ordered cheese curds. They ciuld be good but were fried so much most the cheese came out of the breading . Won't be back. read more

Literally the worst service. Went through the drive thru, started giving order to the worker only for them to go completely mute. A different worker came on asking what they could get for me after I had already started giving order I had to start over. Rolled up to the window paid, they asked me to wait in front of the store and wait for my order to be brought out, they were giggling with each other the whole time, never gave me my drinks. I proceeded to wait in the front for over 10 minutes. A girl brought my food only listing off one thing, said here you go and left. I had to physically go into the store to demand my drinks where they had me waiting once again for over 10 minutes, what was the point of even using the drive thru? Point of the story: DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT THIS PLACE, IT IS NOT WORTH IT. read more

My husband and I work in the area so we eat here on an average of 3 times a week, every time we go in no one is ever at the front therefore customers are never greeted and left standing at the front for a Significant amount of time. The tables are always dirty and when they clean them they clean what's on the tables off on to the seats. There is only one employee that is ever greeting and talking to customers. It would be nice if they showed a little appreciation for their customers because we (customers) are what pays their bills! read more

I come here all the time and the visit today made me not want to come back. As i was finishing my meal, there was a hair stuck to the batter in my fish. I quietly & respectfully informed the manager. She didn't really apologize. Just offered me a new one, which I didn't want because I was done & full of the meal I had. Didn't offer anything else or maybe something for a future visit? My husband and I visited Long John Silver's today, the temp outside was 102,however, inside they did not have the air conditioning on, The girl behind the counter was not friendly at all. Not only did they get our order wrong, the chicken was so hard I could not bit through it. It was not fresh. I don't know who the owner is, but the chicken was small and hard. My son picked up 2 piece fish n more this afternoon. Wow, all I can say is it was horrible. The fish was so dry, and not crispy (seemed as if it had been fried again from the night before). The fries were so salty, intact too salty to eat. After eating 2 at a time, all that sodium made my stomach hurt to the point where I had to quickly drink some water. So, after paying for 2 meals approximately $15 plus tax (drinks not included)...we couldn't finish the meal. Waste of money!! We won't be back. read more

I have been a big fan of LJS for over a decade. There's really no other cheap place for fast sea food. Yes it is terrible for your health, but honestly no one who drinks alcohol or is overweight (those two things are almost all of us!) actually cares if we are honest. It is a great place to go when typical fast food is not enough. I also like the boat-like architecture inside the place. read more
