Within 24 hours, Jeff (the owner of the company) was at my house and diagnosed the issue within minutes. The part was ordered and installed days later at a fraction of the cost to replace. They were out the other day to fix a fridge that was not working, $250 for the service call, which would be applied to the total cost of the repair. Fine. The next day, they called and said $800 for replacing the control board, I asked for the part number b/c I figured I could do it. The office person told me it had to be programmed, so when I asked to speak to a tech about it, the guy who had been at our place got on the phone and said the new board had to be programmed and if it wasn't it "could blow up the compressor." When I asked what the programming process was, he said "That's for me to know and you to find out." Appalling. Turns out the part number they gave me was wrong and no programming is required. (tyvm Gemini!) The part was $200 on appliancepartspros.com, they overnighted it, plus they offer phone support, which I did not need -- 8 screws, unplug the old board, plug in the new, screw the cover back on, fridge is working fine. Easy-peasy. So they either screwed up on the part number or lied to me to get me to buy the wrong part, and employed a bogus scare tactic to get me to pay them an additional $550. Watch out.

He came by with an assistant, wearing masks and putting booties on their shoes when they walked in the house. He took apart the dryer and diagnosed the problem as a bad motor and he'd order the part, pick it up and install it the next day. So the next day, I took off work so I can get this taken care of and I didn't hear from him by mid day. I figured it would be later on, but decided to give him a call anyway to see the status but it went to voicemail. I called 2 more times that day with no call back. I took off of work because he said he was coming the next day and he never showed up or even bothered to call me. The next day he did call me in the morning and said he will come that following day. He finally came and fixed the dryer which I was grateful for. He did leave a small mess behind which is in the picture, plus a little more, which included plastic wrappers, the old motor belt, screws, and a water bottle all on the floor. Like I said, I was grateful for him to fix the dryer but at least clean up after you are done especially since there is a garage can within 4 feet of the dryer. It did cost me a couple hundred bucks, which I felt was a little high, but I also felt I was at the mercy of a repairman during a pandemic and just needed it fixed. Overall, I am glad he fixed the dryer. If he communicated better and cleaned up after himself, this would be a little bit more of a positive review.

Mike the technician who came out to repair is nothing but a liar, he states he is not the owner yet when you ask him to forward your concerns to the owner its Mike who always calls you back. Here is my experience with Mike, My GE monogram refrigerator needed repair so I called Zulk, Mike came out and diagnosed the issue to be low freon and it might need new control board, he added the freon to the unit. The unit worked for about 30 days then the temperature kept going up all the way to 72 in both freezer and refrigerator unit. I called Zulk, Mike came out again this time with the control board, he replaced the control board and took my old one back and added the freon. At this time he had determined that the unit has freon leak on the high side. The fridge worked for 5 days, so I call Zulk again, this time Mike again came and told us the Inverter is bad. At this point I was pretty upset that since he has not located the source of leak I do not want him to change the inverter until the leak is fixed. Mike tell us he can not fix the unit without replacing the inverter, he then proceeds to tell us to call GE for the repair, GE comes out and will not fix the unit because Zulk had messed with the closed freon system, GE was able to tell me exactly where the leak was coming from. So then I called another company who came out and fixed the unit replaced the part and told me my inverter is completely fine. I called Mike of Zulk to get refund for at least the first portion of the service which he said he would refund me, I have yet to see the refund. They are also not GE Certified appliance repair shop. So what am I trying to achieve by writing this review? If i can convince even few people not to use this guy and his company by making people aware of his business practice that is enough.
