A small carton was $5 and large was $8 (not sure if those are set prices or based on availability). Payment can be made with cash or check. They also had strawberry sherbet or strawberry lemonade for an additional charge. We tried the sherbet and it was a huge hit. The owners are fantastic! They were very kind and informative. This is their second strawberry season and the strawberries are delicious. My daughter couldn't stop eating them. They had loads of fields you could pick strawberries from and I'm sure the strawberries will be plentiful during peak season (we went a bit before peak season). The farm is down a long dirt road and easy to find as long as you follow the signs. Little tip: the last sign says Moccasin Grove and doesn't include mention of strawberries so don't be confused. I highly recommend this farm!

They even launched candy out of it and had all the kids running around. Would definitely go back if I had little kids. Very light but inexpensive food options, bring water with you.

We highly recommend this family friendly place! My husband and I together picked a little over 20 lbs! Most of them are going in the freezer for when we can't get local fresh berries. The owners and staff are super friendly and helpful. You get a bucket with a plastic bag inside so you're all ready to go when you're done picking. The price is $5.00 a lb for U PIck and $8.00 a lb for already picked. When I checked a couple other places that I have been to in the past, the price was between $8.00 and $10 a lb for U Pick! It's definitely a working farm because you can also buy large potted tomato plants, Rosemary plants, Pinecone Gingers, Fig Trees, Gardenia plants, Rose of Sharon bushes, Aloe Plants and more. I couldn't resist a beautiful Fig tree with a few figs growing already! That was only $15!! This will be my go to place from now on for blueberries!! Also, since it's just a few hundred yards from the Wacissa River, you can make a day of it and rent a kayak or tube and head out to the springs to beat the heat!

They have their own grass fed beef too, so picked up 2 lb skirt steak, 2 lb sirloin, 2 lb ground beef. Super excited to make some delicious blueberry desserts and breakfasts, as well as beef dinners! People here are super nice! They also have home grown honey, jams, veggies, and some more! Eat local!

PERFECT DAY FOR PERSIMMONS | we grew up picking persimmons on nearby persimmon farms in Tallahassee…read more- and I was super excited when my dad mentioned Perfect Persimmons was nearby... and I happened to be free their last weekend they were open. We weren't sure if it was dog friendly but we felt that it wouldn't be easy for us to pick persimmons while holding on to the two pups. It was a beautiful fall day in Monticello, FL and we were excited to pick from the last batch of persimmons of the season. They provide buckets and pickers to help with picking the fruit. At the time of our visit in 2022: the fruit was $2.25 per lb - cash or check only. Per the website, it is now $2.50 per lb - really great in this economy. Whether you're a Persimmon enthusiast or just looking for something fun to do in the fall season, definitely recommend making the drive over to Monticello for Perfect Persimmons!

I think they have 600 trees. It's really nice to see a family farm with the kids out helping pick the fruit. I really enjoyed the fruit and would highly recommend if your in Tallahassee stop by and pick some fruit.

It's about 10 minutes from the freeway, and not hard to find because the signs are very visible. I'm so glad I stopped to get goodies to share with my family and friends. Be sure to get the blueberry ice cream. It is homemade by the Queen of the farm, and it like no other ice cream you will ever have. So happens that the farmer is from my home state, go Hoosiers!
