My friend and I drove an hour to come to the haunted corn maze tonight after doing it last year and having a great time. We were excited to come back and do it again this year, but unfortunately we left extremely disappointed. We stood in line for just under 2 hours for the hayride that leads to the haunted corn maze only for them to not check our wrist bands (multiple people who didn't even pay cut in front of us and got on), we're driven around a circle only to end right back where we were standing in line to begin with, and then as we approach the haunted maze we were told by the actors themselves that it was closed. Of course us and others around us were confused being that there was still a long line of people waiting to get in behind us, and when we continued asking, they finally let us walk in and we were scared by maybe 2 or 3 people only to be chased out of the maze after being in there no more than 1 minute. As we were coming to an exit, an actor fully took his mask off and said "my shift is over" and that was it. I spoke with someone and apparently she said that one of the workers would talk to the actors in the maze, but they ended up letting people in again only to chase them out within seconds of being in there.
It was very disappointing that we wasted two hours of our time (and 2 hours of driving on top of that) just to be ripped off because people don't want to do their job. I recommend having people work the maze who are actually good people who don't lie and cheat paying customers out of their money and time. Also, there needs to be a different way of doing things being that we paid for a wrist band that no one even looked at.
I hope this can help y'all do better and not have disappointed customers next year. Thanks. read more
